About us

Our agency was formed because of the many tree otters that have lost their homes to economical growth. At this agency we help train the tree otters to live in households and prepare them for adoption. To see how to adopt one of theses cute furry otters please continue below.
Animal Facts about Tree Otters

User ImageThe tree otter loves the warm temperature and tropical fruits. Its fury is not as thick as some of their relatives and its claws are made to open and peel fruit. The tree otter’s tail is also unlike the river otters. The tail is made to swing from trees. Most tree otters sleep in piles of leaves they have collected and placed in the branches of the tropical trees. The creatures are quite friendly and very curious.

Baby tree otters are the first stage of life. The infant is delicate at this age. Its fur has hardly grown and its head needs a lot of support in their leaf bed. Tree otters usually stay in this stage for 1 week.

Younglings are the normal name for the second stage in a tree otter’s life. Younglings are very curious and need a lot of attention. They are now testing out their climbing skills and have a love for all types of tropical fruit. A youngling will grow into an adult within 2 weeks.

User Image
Adults will stay the same size all their life and their color will never change. By the time they reach this stage they show a unique mark on their left leg. It’s a sign of their personality and what they love. Once a tree otter reaches this stage they start packratting. Tree otters have a love for pretty fruit and items they can wear or play with. The items usually help the happiness of a tree otter but there are otters that get along just fine without one. An adult tree otter does not grow older after this stage.

How to get a Tree otter

The agency doesn’t always have tree otters available. The normal batch of tree otters that arrive are 5 in four different colors, red, green, yellow, and blue.

Occasionally we will receive “Special” rare colored otters. Because of the amount of owners who wish to adopt we have auctions to see how dedicated the owner is. Rare otters can only have certain items attached to them while normal otters can have anything attached. Rares have to have colored theme items attached to them only.

When to look for new otters

Once a month is the normal for theses batches to arrive. When one does a alert sign will be put up to let the public know there are otters for adoption. If you wish to get on the mailing list to know when theses otters have arrived please leave your username in the thread saying: “I want to be on the mailing list. Here is my username _______”

Adoption Process

Each of the otters with the exception of the rare ones cost 1,000g to adopt.
The first five people to post their applications will get the new otters.
Exception: If there are rare otters that arrive in the batch only the non-rare otters will go through the application process.

Application

Quote:
Your name:
What would you call your otter?:
What are three things you like?:
What are three things you’d like your otter to like?:
Do you want a boy or a girl?:

The staff workers will pm you letting you know that you have been able to receive your otter. When you receive this pm we ask that you keep your gold until we have finished getting the otter ready for its new home. We will tell you when to send the gold.

Color will be a suprise unless you let us know you want a certain one. We'll let you know if that color is available or not.

This is what your new adoption will look like.
