As you trudge through the unforgiving wilderness of this strange island, you get the odd feeling of being watched. Whipping around, you come face-to-face with a wolfish creature, a fanged necklace hanging from its furry neck.

The animal looks at you curiously, then takes a step forward. You seem frozen in your spot, unable to run... But then again, you find yourself not wanting to. Even as the creature places a gentle paw forward, you are captivated rather than scared. You realize its good intentions as it takes its slender head and nuzzles your hand. You have found your Casica.

A few years ago, Shetan used to have a dog named Casie, the best dog ever. You see, she tried to get a dog twice before. First was a tiny little dog and it was annoying and nipped your ankles. He only liked Shetan's mom, and no one else. Taz, as he was named, didn't work out. So second, they tried a small, shaggy white dog named Lucky. He was mean and aggressive, and bit too often. Shetan was about six at the time, and Lucky would not do. Then they got Casie, a border collie greyhound mix. She had the markings of a collie, was about the size of a collie, and had the short fur, head and tail shape of a greyhound. She was the gentlest dog, never bit, never ran away, and was sweet to everyone. Shetan's family had her for three years, and she never bit anyone, not even once! One day, her family went camping for two days, and when they returned, Casie was gone. They looked everywhere, and checked for holes in the fence and there was nothing. It was then that they found out their neighbor, who will be referred to as ______, stole her. He stole her and gave her to his mother, who had always liked Casie. They struggled to get her back, but nothing could be done, and they were informed soon after that their beloved Casie had died. ______'s mother could not afford to feed the dog, so she simply let her die a slow and painful death of starvation. Shetan was devastated to find out that her beloved Casie had suffered so long.

And so, we have chosen to name this shop in loving memory of a lost love, and hope that her spirit rests in peace.

General Rules

3. Do not use any art, ideas, information, etc. without proper credits.
4. Do not ask questions already mentioned in the FAQ.
5. Do not antagonize and annoy Arandell, Shetan, or anyone else in the thread.

Roleplaying Flatsales

1. Only post your order when Arandell, Casicus, or Shetan posts the big green GO!
2. Do not edit your posts! Even the slight edits of spelling or gramatical errors will get you disqualified and possibly black listed! WE ARE WATCHING!
3. Remember, the better your roleplay post, the better chance you have to win!
4. Send the trade only after we have confirmed the winners.
5. It is our judge who wins and who does not. Do not throw a fit if you do not win!

Speed Flatsales

1. Post which Casica or fang you want after Shetan, Arandell, or Casicus posts GO in green.
2. Once they're gone, they're gone. No matter what you offer, we will not take them from their rightful owners.
3. Do not throw a fit if you do not get one!
4. Gifts are allowed, but bribing or asking someone into getting one for you is not right.

Custom Rules

1. Only order a custom when customs are open.
2. Fill out the custom form properly, and give as much detail as you can. Remember, we can't see inside your head!
3. PM all custom orders to Casicus! I can't stress this enough. Arandell and Shetan will not look at your order if it is sent to them.
4. We may or may not schedule payment plans. If not, be sure to send the correct amount to Casicus ASAP.

Auction Rules

1. Do not throw a tantrum if you get out-bid.
2. Remember, be smart when bidding! Bidding a peasant's dress will not get you anywhere.
3. Remember, auctions are usually more expensive than customs or flatsales.

Raffle Rules

1. Tickets are unlimited, unless stated otherwise.
2. We will pick a winner by using random dice.
3. Again, do not throw a fit if you do not win!

Roleplaying Rules

1. For roleplaying rules, see the Roleplay thread in Barton Town.
2. We roleplay in 'Story Mode', which means no stars, colons, dashes, etc. to describe actions.
3. We are also literate, and do not godmod nor power-play.
4. No all-powerful wolves with powers, unless specified otherwise!

No, but special rewards are given to RPers.

Okay! Where do we roleplay?
For now, in the thread. A new topic will be made soon, then after that, a guild.

What are these... thingers?
They are Casicus, or a single Casica. Pronounced Kay-see-cuz, or Kay-see-kuh if single.

What happens if I buy I Casica and don't come back?
If you do not come back to the thread for a certain amount of time [unless you have told us that you are leaving for that amount of time] your Casica will stop growing and generally be ignored.

Do you do pet trades?
Yes, but only certain pets! The best you can do is offer and have us look it over. Don't throw a fit if we do not!

How many Casicus can I have?
As many as you want!, so long as you can take care of them!

My Casica is not growing! Why?
Either you have not visited the shop in a while, or Shetan/Arandell is busy. If we are busy, we will tell you, and work on growings as soon as possible!

Casicus are wolfish creatures, who have little magic in them except for their brilliant coats and their growth from a single fang.

Fang

Young Casicus start out as a fang from a Casica passed. They are the size of an average wolf fang, but grow about an inch a day.

Pups

Your Casica will reach the pup stage after one week in the fang stage. When the fangs finally grow to their full size, they hatch into a delicate pup. Pups are very dependent on their protectors and fellow Casicus to care for them, and wear their hatching fang on a bracelet around their paw.

Adolscents

Your Casica will reach the adolescent stage after two weeks in the pup stage. As the pups grow into adolescents, they become faster, stronger, and more active. They learn to hunt and are a lot more social. The bracelet is replaced with a tail loop with another fang.

Adults

Your Casica will reach the adult stage after three weeks in the adolescent stage. Your Casica is finally an adult! They are at the peak of their life, are even more strong and wise, and are able to breed. The tail loop has an added fang, and is now a necklace.


Elders

An elder is extremely rare, and they are yet to discovered. Nothing is known about them yet, not even what they look like.

NOTE: Yes, the lineart is Wolf's Rain themed. I'll say now that the general design of the adolescents and adults is copyright Wolf's Rain. Though I did not steal the images themselves, I did use them as my reference in the lineart, so Wolf's Rain characters and Casica will be very similar. In short, please do not post in the thread or PM me saying that I stole Wolf's Rain images. Thanks, and enjoy!


Remember, your Casica's growth can be speeded by up to four days if you roleplay them!

Flatsales

Flatsales will be held randomly, although you will always be informed a few days before it. There will be random amounts of Casicus, usually fangs, up for grabs. There are two flatsale types: Speed, and Roleplaying.

Roleplaying is the type of flatsale Shetan and Arandell usually do. When the flatsale is coming up, a roleplaying entry will be posted along with GO in green. You must make up a reply within the time limit, which is usually 30 minutes. You have 30 minutes to type a reply, and when the host posts STOP in red letters, all entries posted in that minute will be the last ones accepted. All othes will not be accepted. The most well-written post, according to Shetan/Arandell, will win their desired Casica. Second place will get second choice, third place third choice, etc.

These may NOT be given as gifts!

Speed sales require less work. After the host posts GO, you must post the number of the Casica you want. Speed sales will also usually be fangs, but they may rarely be a pup, adolescent, or even adult. First post, first serve so be quick! This is the form for Speed Sales:

Auctions

Specially colored Casica will also have a number, and either you or Shetan/Arandell will chose the name. The highest bidder within the time limit will win the Casica of their choice. Raffles

There are usually unlimited tickets in raffles, but they can only be bought within a certain time limit. After the tickets are bought, random dice will be rolled, and the owner of the ticket number identical to the number rolled will get the Casica.

These may NOT be given as gifts.

Customs[Closed/Open for Bribes]

The other, most popular way of getting a Casica is through customs.

Prices are succeptible to change! Prices for customs are as follows-

Non lineart Edits[Closed]

A Casica with a GUARANTEED elder stage - 15,000 g
Cascia that start as a fang and go through all stages - 6,000 g
All stages except fang [Pup/Adolescent/Adult] - 5,000 g
Last two stages [Adolescent/Adult] - 4,000 g
Adults only - 3,000 g

Please note that all stages have a possible chance to include elders. Elders are rare, usually random, and can happen to any Casica.

Lineart edits are normal price, but will have the price increased depending on complexity.

Once your Casica is an adult, you may choose to breed your pet. Casicas gives birth to live pups, and not fangs. The litters range from 2-6 pups. Their markings look like a mix of their parents and the gender ratio is random.

Owners may choose either to keep the offsprings for themselves, or give them away to friends. They may also choose to sell off the pups in a flatsale or auction that is controlled by either Shetan or Arandell, your choice. You earn 80% of the profit for yourself, and you must split that 80 with the owner of the pet you have breeded your own with. The other 15% goes to the colorist of the pups, and the last 5% goes to the selling host.


There will be a 3000g breeding fee, 1500g from each owner.
Please be sure there is a slot open first.
You do not have to be mates to breed.

Please note that Shetan came up with the story, and the idea of fang stages! Arandell made the lineart. Shetan is a colorist. Arandell and Shetan both organized and set up the thread.

Attention
Well, I've recieved some sad news. Arandell has decided to quit gaia. That means that I will have to run the store alone. Although sad, Arandell believes I am fully capable of running this store alone. I have decided to keep this breedable store alive as long as possible. I believe that sometime, I may have to hire another colorist, but for now, we'll see what happens. But as you all as my witness, I vow not to let this breedable shop die. Not after how hard Arandell worked when I didn't have the right software. No..I couldn't do that. She's spent so much time here. If you're wondering why she has left, view her journal.

So please, do not give up hope on Casicus, and on me. Although I am shorthanded on help right now, I am going to try. And try I will. I have decided on some things planned for the future, to keep this store alive.

1. There is 3 new species of Casicus coming. For a hint, the one that is coming first is a water based creature named a Ticonthera. The next species, will be a dragon based species. Then, I am planning on a whole new species altogether.
2. I am hoping to later on, add some more lineart when I get my tablet.
