Welcome, denizens of Gaia! My name is Adania, though you may call me Adi. It seems you have stumbled upon my humble little quest thread, in which I am questing for the oh-so-elusive Mini Angel Wings.
I suppose you're probably thinking to yourself, "Who is this chick and why the hell should anyone donate to her?" Both of those are excellent questions and I am more than happy to answer them for you. But first, I ask of only one commitment from you: I ask that you perform the infitessmally simple task of bumping my thread one single time. =3 Yep, that's all it takes to make me happy. Think you can commit to that? Awesome. On to the questions.
Who Am I?
Well, lets see here. My name is Adania, both in real life and on Gaia. My name, of which's origin I know not, translates to "The nights falling reveals the angel's beauty." Yes, I know that's a long translation for one word, but it's true. I'm twenty years old, and live in South Florida. IxD I go to the University of Florida, and am majoring in English. Let, see, what else? I love to roleplay, listen to music, hang out with my friends, go to the beach, etc, etc. My favorite types of music are rock and country, though I do like most other types. Except polka. -.- Damn that polka music. =P I've completed many other quests in my time on Gaia, including Winged Anklets, Golden Laurels, Seal Slippers, Baos, Bani Clips, and Angelic Staff, as well as many more less glamorous ones. I'm a sucker for questers, and have donated well over 100k to other quests.
Why should anyone donate to me?
I think there are many good reasons why people who can afford it should donate to me. One reason is I am dedicated. I know that every quester says this, and that alot of them don't really mean it, but I do. When I really set my sights on something, like I have with the mini angel wings, then I'm going to do it. Another good reason is that I am very genereous. Alot of questers are what you would call "gold whores." Anyone who knows me knows that I am not one of these. While gold is convenient, and I certain am not against having it, I understand that sometimes other people just need it, or deserve it, rather, more than I. And, those are the people I usually end up donating to. When I'm not questing, I am generally broke, becuase I'm always donating.
Since I first joined Gaia, nearly a year ago, one item has always stood out among the rest, like a beacon in a storm of not-too-savy stuff. Finally I found an outfit I like, an avatar I decided on keeping forever. Throughout the months, I have quested for items small in porportion to this item, seeking to better my avatar. But, still this item taunted me, nearly begging me to quest it. And now, after much deliberation, I have decided to do the unthinkable; the unimagined.
Of all the items I'm fond of in the entire database that is the Gaian Inventory, the Angelic Mini's alone do not grace me with their presence. I have my Seal Slippers, my Angelic Anklets, my Golden Laurels, but no Minis. I have Kiki's and Fairy Wings, Bani Clips and an Angelic Staff, and yet still... No Minis.
But this will change, my friends; oh yes, it will. For I, the ever dilligent and always determined Adania am going to get them. It may not be this month, or even this year, but before I die they will be mine.
I do not pretend to think it will be easy, but I know one thing. I am going to have an awesome time here in this thread, and I honestly hope you do too. I invite each an every one of you to come here, chat, make some friends. I want this to be fun for everyone, not just me. And, if not even one person donates to my insane persuit, I will still have the satisfaction of knowing that somewhere out there, someone is proud of me. And, most of all, I'll be proud of myself.
Mostly though, you should donate to me for your own reasons. Everyone has a different idea of what makes a good quester, and if I have what you think it takes, then that's the reason. =3
