Huh? A monster? You mean one of those things that your parents use to scare you as a kid and the subject of those lame romance novels? Wow, your a idiot.
The monster race, a prideful and extremely diverse race. Those stories that your mother and father used to use to scare you into going to sleep were absolutely true. Monsters were real to the world thousands of years ago and even though they went into hiding, they were still alive, and in danger. After years of having to regulate their number of people, they're on the brink of extinction, going from being over 2,000,000 strong, to being 200,000 strong. Even if they were to attempt to rebuild their numbers, they wouldn't have the time or the resources to repopulate. Any attempts they had to try and increase their numbers, were quickly shut down the minute a human found out about it. The leaders of the monsters had decided it was finally time to do something about it, even though they had to take drastic measures to do it. One of the few leaders decided to travel to Japan, wanting to reach out to humans to try and save their dying race. After many trying hassles, they eventually made it to their government, exposing what they were and why they were there in the first place. After telling the tale of their people, the Japanese government decided they would allow the monsters to go forward with their plans.
They were given a plot of land out in the countryside onto which they would build a small town, one where their people could live and create their own way of life. In exchange, they were to let the government study their people. A year later, the town of Sino was created and monsters from everywhere came out of hiding, moving towards the town, ready to start life there. Even though they now had as place where they could call their own, sadly, the land restriction given to them did not help the problem. They could now sustain a higher number of monsters, but with the land they had, their population could not grow too big. The leaders began to push the government into giving them more land to increase the amount of their people, even if it meant moving towards the humans. They were denied the grant, being told they were already given what they asked for and who knew how humans would react to them. The monsters refused to listen to the government and kept pushing, no matter how many times they were denied. Eventually, the government gave up, but instead of granting them more land, they proposed a different option. To test how much they would impact human society if they were allowed to grow, they were to create a school. Both monsters and humans would be sent here as a experiment to see if the two were really able to co exist.
The monsters agreed and construction on Yagoma high began immediately. After two years of construction and seeking out people who were willing to teach, the high school was finished. The school was advertised as the government said it was going to be. "Yagoma high. Where students grow academically and grow to love their brethren.". The monsters had a second plan with this highschool though, since it was their way of creating a fail safe way to get what they want. The leaders were doubting that the government might give out land, even if the experiment was successful. They needed to gain the support of regular people and increase their own numbers, and they needed to do it underhandedly and under the government's nose. They were going to force the bond of friendship to happen between students and if they could, get humans to become attracted to monsters, They were pairing students up, pairing a human with a monster. It was meant to influence humans to like monsters and if they could actually get them to, have them become romantically involved with a monster. The school has opened up, both sides having their goals, and both sides not knowing what was going to happen.
