General Information

Personality» Jasmine herself has her oddities, but no more than the average teenage girl. Certainly it's a sight to see her increased metabolism at work when she tries to fuel her body and she could use a little refinement, but she's a work in progress.

Somewhat quirky with head in the clouds, stating particularly that she wants to grow up to be an actress, without having to wear a disguise. She just hopes for a world one day where she can walk down the street without having to vanish away and just be accepted for who she is.

While she may have moments of being a little headstrong, believing she knows better than she probably does; her heart is in the right place.
Biography» Even before Jasmine's mutant life she knew what it was like to be excluded, whether by her albino appearance or the osteoporosis the girl was always on the edge of friendship circles. It wasn't until one particular incident in school involving another group of girls and a flight of stairs that saw Jasmine's parents decide to remove her from the public schooling system entirely.

While short of friends, Jasmine found solace as she recovered in bed from the many books and films that her parents would supply her with to encourage a healthy recovery from their daughter. In no time at all Jasmine found her niche in fantasy stories, comic books and science fiction and a world of extended friends through the computer screen with whom she could relate to.

For a time all was well until timely puberty came as it did and alike all teenage children brought life to a complete and utter stop. Only of course for Jasmine it became far more interesting and cruel as she tried to ask her parents about 'hair in places it wasn't before'. Of course her parents hesitated from the subject at first and it was only a matter of time before Jasmine could no longer keep up with the growth of fur that took over her body, changing her features little by little into the fox creature now facing her in the mirror.

It was lucky she was home schooled, allowing Jasmine and her family time until the transition had taken its toll and Jasmine had now settled with her new life. What at first had began with periods of depression and self-harm - with several attempts by the girl to cut off her own tail - she became slowly more comfortable with herself thanks to the support and love of her parents.

But whispers kept moving around the town about the secluded Smith girl, all those injuries, never leaving her house. Whether or not the townsfolk were right to fall prey to the rumor mill and concern themselves with the girls wellbeing was one thing, but when welfare came knocking on the door and forced the family to move it became quickly apparent that no matter where they would move, even if Jasmine had never been 'normal' before, she would certainly find no place that would accept her now.

And so with heavy hearts, unable to keep their daughter from the world, her parents reached out to anywhere they could to try and help her grow up in a healthier, more adjusted environment.
