Personality» Emmett is a bit hard to understand at first glance. His demeanor and exterior seem to show a lack of compassion, and gives him the appearance of a hard a**. Which isn't true, Emmett is a very sweet and kind person. He tries his hardest to push himself to be the best, and strives to make sure those around him push as hard as they can too excel. One way to get Emmett on your bad side is to belittle him in front of a crowd, or someone he respects.

He has a wonderful patience when it comes to dealing with people as long as they stay on his good side. Disrespecting Emmett, disregarding, belittling, or insulting him isn't the best choice as he has an awful temper which causes him to lash out in a fight. Once he starts a fight it's really hard for him to stop, a lot of the time someone has to intervene to get him to back down. Despite his best intention's Emmett does judge others on their physical appearance, and if they don't care for their body then he doesn't care for them.


Biography» Emmett grew up in the broncs of Brooklyn, New York. The oldest child of three, of a single mother who struggled to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table Emmett knew the definition of hardship. She stressed to all of her children that the only way they will be able to live comfortably in this world was to push themselves in school and to get good grades. Emmett took every word his mother ever spoke to him very seriously, excelling at school with a 4.5 GPA. When he wasn't busy studying, or tutoring his younger sisters, Emmett would spend his time down at the local Gym, to keep his body at physical tip top shape just like his brain.

As the years passed, the more his family began to struggle. Sophomore year in high school, Emmett decided to try to help out his family the only way he knew how, spending Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights as a physical trainer, and on the weekends he would enter into MMA fights. First couple of fights went over rather well, earning the extra cash needed to keep his family afloat, though his time spent with family and friends suffered as they were non-existent. But his mother put up with the lack of involvement of her son due to the fact that he was trying hard in school, and at his two jobs.

During in junior year, Emmett was getting ready to a big Match when his mother approached him, bringing up his plummeting grades. Emmett and his mother fought loudly for about two hours before his match. Causing Emmett to leave briskly and to take his frustration out on his opponent rather than his mother. He was a little shocked to not see his mother, and sisters on the side lines cheering him on. But he quickly dismissed it, thinking his mother was to angry to approve of his MMA matches. However, when Emmett returned back home, he was shocked to come home to an empty apartment. With a note on the kitchen table saying that she couldn't raise a delinquent.

He doesn't remember snapping and destroying the apartment. He didn't remember lashing out at the man in the hallway who came in to check out the commotion. He just remembers being yanked off of the middle aged male by a large blue furred beast, then there was black, and he woke up in a van. Later he found out that the two who came and stopped him from nearly killing the innocent male was Logan, and Beast. Emmett has only been at the Xavier Institute for only a year.
