The Triwizard Tourny is upon us! Students from all around have come to Hogwarts to compete. Don't let the sudden disappearance of students concern you. No, no.

Ahem. Staff, students, prefects, you have been selected to find out who you-know-who's allies are. We have confirmed that a student from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Durmstrang Institute, and Beauxbatons Academy of Magic each have an evil supporter. It is your job to find them and report them to the Headmaster at once. You will be rewarded for your efforts. However you may lose more than points-- your lives are at stake. Think carefully before submitting your name.

[form would go here.]

General Outline of the roles and powers:

Necessary Roles:
[3] Dark Arts Supporter: One from each "School". Has the ability to kill a player.

[3] Faculty: One head staff member from each school. Receives a clue regarding their school's Dark Arts Supporter each round.

[2] Nurses: Sadly the first of our victims was the other nurse. She will be missed. However the other two can protect one player each round. In the event the nurse knows her death is inevitable she may revive one player. If the nurse does not die, the revival does NOT work and she is unable to heal anyone for the remainder of the game.

Roles I'm considering: AKA small roles that are mostly for my own entertainment.

[1] Groundskeeper: You are the lone one who walks the school at night. Be step carefully, you may die before sunrise. Each round you may choose two players and peer into their rooms. You are not required to peer into a room. If you choose to do so, you learn which school the players go to in no order, you are only given the names of the school. However, if you choose a dark arts supporter they will kill you in lieu of their current victim. You will receive a PM at the START of each round regarding your last's round choice [in the event you die you learn nothing]

[1] Werewolf: Your affliction seems to be acting up lately... You have the power to kill ONE player during the game. You mention the word "Werewolf" during the day phase in order to attack.

[1] Potions Master: You may select a player each round and attempt to cure the Werewolf. If you do so, you nullify their attacks and gain one round of immunity.

[2] The Lovers: You are star crossed lovers from competing schools but yearn for each other. You are sent a PM in the morning of the nighttime actions of your lover. After three rounds [and each subsequent night] have passed and your lover will ask you to meet that night. If you both agree, you will be sent the name of your lover as well as their role. It's up to you at that time to decide to use this information to support them or cast them out of your life.

[1] Muggle: You somehow made it into the wizarding world. ] In the event of a tie, you receive the penalty. You however have great intuition and may PM the host once a round to find out the school and role of a player each round.

[1] The chosen one: This public role gives you TWO votes each round. But this makes you a prime target...

[all others] Wizard: You have no special role. Whomp.

Post-Death Roles
As many wizards know, ghosts are common. Death in this game does not mean you're out of the running.

Ghosts: Not all ghosts are there to scare people nor help. Each may decide their own actions. After your death you may PM the host and decide to be a good ghost or a bad ghost. You may not change sides.

Good Ghosts: You are honor bound to your school. You join the good team. In the event you out the evil wizards the ghosts in the winning schools share 10% of the total winnings. You may receive additional powers as time progresses.

Evil Ghosts: You're damn pissed off about your demise. You want everyone to just go away. If the wizards win you collectively 10% from the remaining wizard's school. You may receive additional powers as time progresses.

[Ideas for ghosts powers: RNG based things to amplify/block players. IE 1-100, if get two matching numbers, your're able to handicap/help another player based on your side]
---------
Each round players must send a player to the dungeon for the remainder of the game. The player with the most votes are sent to rot. The host also serves as the dungeon master. Just cause the title is cool.
---------

Everyone is assigned a wizarding school. The winner of the tourney is determined by surviving players on each team. If you make it to the end and your schools wins the tourny, you get an extra gold bonus. You may also use your school as a way to prove guilt or innocence. Only you know which team you play for.

Also I REALLY wanna say 5 point for Hogwarts.

[more to come?]

Suggestions plox.

Also lots of hard work late at night. So concept is there. Sorta.

Ahem,
As you may already know our numbers are dwindling. Heroes, heroines-- you are the last of our kind. But among this very group lies our killers. It is up to you to find the guilty party and bring swift justice down upon them.

Our numbers may be small; our pasts full of scars; but with sword and shield in hand we must walk into our most treacherous battle yet: your closest ally may be your next foe. Be wary of your actions as the evil overlords are among us.

=======
How a day progresses:
Each round players must submit a public vote on who the evil overlord is. The player who has the most votes is sent to jail; the evil overlords are allowed to kill off a hero each round and the killed player becomes an NPC.
=======

Objective:
Heroes attempt to bring justice to the evil overlords and jail them all. Doing so nets each surviving [non-jailed] a share of the gold.

Evil Overlords attempt to kill all heroes. If they succeed, they equally share the gold.

NPCs are killed/jailed players who cannot win the gold, however they may assist other players and speculate along with the others.

=======
Factions
=======
You are assigned a faction at the start of the game and are allowed to choose to either "AID" or "ATTACK" each round. The most popular vote from each faction determines what type of clue the fighter gets. Factions might be more important than you think, so it may be unwise to show your true colors....

The "Niten": The lovable heroes that made our kingdom what it is today.
The "Sonnies": A group who are powerful on the battlefield.
The "Xers" A rebellious gang hell bent on taking the others out.

=======
Roles
=======

Given Roles:
[2] Evil Overlords [often called EOs]: Allowed to kill off a player each round. We all know bosses cheat so that's all you peons need to know.

[2] Fighters: The heads of each faction receive a clue sent directly from the host each round. If your faction chose to "AID" your team, you get a clue about somebody in your faction who is NOT the EO. If your team chose to "ATTACK", you get a clue about the EO on your team.

[2] Supporter: The supporter is allowed to protect one hero each round. The chosen target is unable to be slain by the EO this round. The supporter may not choose the same person each round. If both supporters work together, by selecting the same person they may be able to bring back a player from the dead once, however, it would draw a lot of attention to them. A supporter may attempt to revive a dead person alone however they may do this only every other turn and at a 25% success rate.

[1] Vigilante: This rugged player doesn't care about all this politics of voting and is allowed to kill one player during the game. The Vigilante's first time to strike is round 3 [IE, round after sheriff is announced] but may wait until they are ready.

[1] Hacker: This player is able to PM the host and spy on one player and be told what their role is on even rounds with a 25% success rate, or asked if they want to "infect" a player, giving them a 50% chance to change the target to their choice. If the hacker dies, the history from his computer needs to be wiped, but there is a way to restore it... and gain access to his information.

[1] Producer: Has the final say in most cases and has plenty of power to wield it, however is pretty short in time and because of this can only act on ODD rounds, excluding the first round. Everything the producer does is shown publicly, however their identity has a 10% chance to be reviled and of course made a huge target for making the devs work long hours... The producer may write a character out [kill], introduce an annoying character [revive an player], or question "what the hell is that?" [publicly show if a clue is fake or real]. Finally, the producer may retire at any time and gain a two round immunity but only if done on round 6 or earlier.

Earned roles: [Public roles] These roles are EARNED, meaning that you elect a player to get this title.
[1] Sheriff: The Sheriff is allowed to guess who the Vigilante is by PMing the Host each round. If they guess correctly the Vigilante loses their ability to kill and the sheriff is unable to be killed for that round. [Voted upon by the players after 2 rounds and upon the Sheriff's death or until the Vigilante strikes]

[1] Mystery Role! [Voted after 3 Rounds]

[1] Protagonist: The heroes give the protagonist twice the voting power as long as they live. [Voted upon by the players after 4 rounds]

[1] Mystery Role! [Voted after 5 Rounds]

[1] Shopkeeper: This player attracts the attacks from the EO and was able to see one of them. They get an extra clue about an EO each round. [Voted upon by the players after 6 rounds]

NPCs:
Players who died or are in jail can still occupy the gaming world as NPCs. They can still influence the game. NPCs may random number generate once to produce various effects on the remaining players or send information to players. Most effects are for fun, but there is a 3% chance to escape from jail or to be auto-revived.

Mario party Mafia:

Story:

Bowser , King of the Koopas and beloved Mario's moral rival, has done the unthinkable: actually succeeded in stealing the stars and bringing chaos to the world.

Mushroom Kingdom needs your help to bring justice, however Bowser and his friends cleverly disguises themselves as players. But the heroes have a one up on them... they've always been better at mini-games than them. So Mushroom Kingdom transforms into the biggest and baddest map ever!

Trial by fire? Pffft! Trial by mini-game!

====
Basic Overview:

As your Gamemaster, I will oversee this game and keep track of your rankings. Over here is the start... and over here you can trade in 20 coins for a-- wait.. sorry... sweatdrop we're not doing things like that this time around. Sorry. Bad habit.

Things are a little different this time around. We found out that not all players were created equal and some have special roles, however everyone may cast a public vote to send one player to King Boo's spot.

Let's just say that mansion is creepy and we haven't seen anyone come back. So... we just tell the young toads that they're "fighting ghosts with a vacuum". Just like the Easter bunny.

But that place scares me too. You also have the option to vote "Do not send anyone". Who knows... this might be a lot more helpful than you think.

We've also found out that Bowser 's minions: Boo, Bowser Jr, Chain Chomp will attack a player each mini-game and take them out. Seriously, have you seen how dangerous these games are?

But fear not, our heroes are here to save the town! Luigi, DK, and Yoshi are our best bet in winning-- they have a way to find out who the killers are!

But where's Mario and Bowser ? They're battling for stars! Stars are the easiest way to get your way and are worth more than 20 coins, that's for sure.

====
Roles:
Heroes: [Heros are only told they are a hero; it's up to them to figure out who]

Luigi- Master Detective-- gets a clue to one of Bowser 's minion. Cannot be killed by Boo. Also has to be forever in Mario's shadow.

Dk- Not so Ace-detective-- Gets a fake clue to one of Bowser 's minion but cannot be killed by Bowser 's minons once AND cannot be voted out once. [Meaning he can be saved once in each fashion] Once he's been attacked or voted up once, he catches on and is given real clues. DK is not told when he's been attacked and therefore doesn't know if the clues are real or fake. Fake clues may be dead ends or point to any player.

Yoshi- Yoshi gets a clue to one of Bowser 's minions. Yoshi may bring back a fallen or jailed player once in the game, but only may choose a player who had voted for them at any point in the game. If NO players had EVER voted for yoshi when yoshi dies, Yoshi may revive himself.

Villains: [Villains are told who they are]
Boo: Sneaks up on his target and takes them out quietly. Has the power to kill a player during the minigame. Can't get hugged.

Bowser Jr: Targets a player each round but has a 10% chance to mess up the kill. He may opt to steal somebody's star instead of killing them ONCE during the game. If the player has no stars [IE the player would normally die at the end of the round] on the steal attempt, Bowser Jr gives them one. Wait... that doesn't seem right?

Chain Chomp: May attack one player each round. Once during the game he may attack 2 players in one round with a 80% success rate each.

ALL KILLERS HAVE THE OPTION NOT TO KILL FOR ANY REASON BUT MUST PM THE HOST AND SAY NO KILL.
=====
Additional Roles:

Peach: Has the power to protect a player by feeding them a mushroom. Peach has 11 mushrooms and one of them is poison. A normal mushroom powers them up and protects them from Bowser 's side, but a poison mushroom... well you know what the word poison means. Peach knows that the first mushroom is safe but every other one has an increasing chance of being poison.

Toad: Everyone loves toad! Toad, that selfless guy has the power to revive a player every round. Revived players come back with their powers.

Koopa [2]: Koopas know each other at the start of the game. Koopas may choose to make their votes count as 2 votes but only once per game; if one koopa dies, the remaining koopa gets their voting power if they haven't used it.

Daisy + Waluigi : These roles are linked. They must PM the host if they are in love. They have 2 rounds to decide or decline. Once both of them agree to be lovers, they are sent both the name and the role of the other. They may use this to their advantage and help their love or run away. If the lovers decline, two more are selected at random until a match is made. The lovers are till death due they part though. If one of their lovers dies, they kill themselves the next round but may still use any of their active roles. If one of the lovers is revived, they have felt enough pain and do not mourn anymore.

=====
Non-Roles:
Players: You... get to be in the game. So what if you don't have any roles? Your own skill will get you though this! All players MUST cast a vote on who to send to boo's domain but they may opt to choose to send nobody.

Cheater: One of the surviving players after 3 rounds will become the cheater. They may ask the host WHICH ROLES are still in the game, but not who is who. They PM the host and tell them if they want it to be privately or publicly: they may do this in private 2 times, and publicly once.

==========
Passing roles: These roles are passed to another player each round, but are removed from the game if the character dies.
[Even Rounds] Toadsworth: Has the power to find out the role of one player

[Odd Rounds] Dry Bones: Has the power to find out if a clue is real or not.

==========
Chance Time: When there are 4-6 players left [last 3 turns] , the host announces CHANCE TIME in which two players may have their roles switched! Oh hoh, jolly good fun. RNG determines who switches
==========

Minigames: Every 3 rounds include mini-games which are explained as they go along. The winner of the minigame is granted a star, which provides them safety from one attack. [Being voted out strips them of their stars]. Each attack takes down one star. Players are not told how many stars they have left at any time, so they don't know if it was stolen or used up.

[Example Minigames:
Basic: Players Roll 4 4 sided dice, the highest number wins
Team: Between the two, RNG 1-1000, lowest average wins
Duel: Players PM Paper, Sizzors, Rock. In the event of a tie, nothing happens and no star is given.
Battle: Players are RNG order and given a rope to choose, all but one rope is boobytrapped]

FAQ:
Q.How does a round work?
A. All killers must submit their kill. All players must vote. Rounds end at a given time and any special actions happen at that time. "Rankings" happen and show who didn't make it thought the minigame.

Q. What are stars?
A. Stars are your lives. Non-villain players start with one star; villains have no stars. If you are attacked by a villain, you lose one star. If two villains attack you, you lose two stars. If you don't have any stars and you are attacked, it's game over for you. Players may "use" their stars during the game to protect themselves for that round making them invulnerable and also they cannot be sent to the mansion [the 2nd highest player does NOT go in their place], but if they have no stars, they promptly die at the end of the round.

Q. How many stars can I have? Are the tradeable/passable?
A. You can have 2 total at any time . I will keep track of how many you have. Part of the game is not to know how many lives you have left. They are not tradeable but they can be stolen by some roles. Chance time may swap stars. If you attacked and do not have a star, you die. They are not transferable in any other capacity.

Q. How many people can win?
A. The game ends when either one player or one alliance remains.

Q. Will roles be redistributed?
A. YES! Inactive players, or any role who doesn't perform or say they're going to pass will have their role removed.

Q. What if I find a way to exploit that obvious game-breaking mechanic?
A. Do it.

Video Game High School [Survival non-mafia game]

[This game is based after Video Game High School which you can watch [Here]. There are loose storyline associations and introductions, however it will be non-canonical though player's interactions. Players heavily alter the storyline. This game plays you as much as you play it. You do not need to be skilled at video games win]

=====================================================================
Orientation:

Dean Calhoun: I swear every year it's the same cutscene. I don't know how you n00bs managed to get though application rounds but you squeaked by and I'm stuck babysitting you till you can hold your own weight.

You: Sir, I want to thank you for givin--

Dean Calhoun: Save it. My headphone is on mute. Buckle up kid, ' cause that attitude will put you on a plate straight to hell! And the inflight movie? SUPER HELL!

You: ...

Dean Calhoun: Look, we just had some media darling breezing into my school on a golden ticket. But guess what? That media darling is ranked higher than you. Do you need me to remind you what happens if you drop below zero? Ah! My favorite... Paragraph 90, section 3. Should a student's rank drop below zero points, he is automatically, ruthlessly and instantly... expelled.

=====================================================================
Gameflow:
You are a student at VGHS and are presented with various classes, choices to make, and of course, games to pwn!

Each round consists of two parts:
1) Campus : Players are given their new roles and what type of game they will be playing, full details on how to play and then allowed to explore the campus and interact with the various NPCs who will show up and alter the storyline.
2) Virtual World: It's game time. Players will be asked to compete in the game and the weakest link are fragged.

In the campus round the players vote on the storyline branch. The Virtual world round may have a leecher vote if the game is a team event.

The storyline vote affects the NPCs who control how teams are formed, what happens to some players based on their votes [handicapped or given an advantage, or even put up for elimination!]. Sometimes majority wins but often your own path will be chosen here.

The leecher vote is to pin your loss on a single player. The player nominated as the leecher destroyed by the other players and is one kill away from being auto-expelled.

The storyline chooses the current game in which players compete in teams, duos, or individually. Players will be given the rules to each game at the start of each round. Sometimes players will need to submit evidence to the host that they completed a game or verify their score.

This Video Game High School isn't all about FPS but a wide variety of games, but there are no extra lives here. The game eliminates the weakest link every round. Play smart, controlling the storyline to get games that are beneficial to you is key to your survival. Forced alliances will often happen due to team balancing so try not to burn too many bridges.

The Games
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Call of Honor [FPS] [Team]

Players are evenly split into two teams and attempt to capture the flag from the opponent's base before getting a bullet to the head. Each player rolls 2 8 sided dice in the thread ONCE. The first dice is your hit , the second is your dodge. You were previously assigned who your target is. If your opponent's hit is higher than your doge, you just ate a bullet. The captain [regardless if alive or not] adds their attack PLUS all surviving members hit to theirs. The team with the highest hit wins. Players may forgo attacking an opponent and instead rush the flag by rolling 1 10 sided die which acts as their dodge, if they survive the attack, that is added directly to the team's total.

Mosh Mosh Revolution [Rhythm] [Duo]

The popular game inspired from brawls on the dance floor finally made it's way to the US. Players are invited to submit their high score
