Story 1 - Anshi

[Etoile Celeste]

20 years after the Imeks -a group of individuals with great powers- invaded the Earth, a rebellion is being set up in the Kingdom of Anshi, spearheaded by Laya -the Human leader, Heleora -Laya's younger sister, and Kalahan -one of the Two Imek Princes who decided to support the Human's cause.

As the biggest war in Human's History is about to begin, peace talks take place in the Tohlen Forest, where the Human rebellion is based. After fruitless negociations, Prince Khan -Kalahan's elder brother, and Vintadh -Khan's most loyal soldier, are captured by Laya's army.

As time goes by, while Laya and Khan get closer and closer to each other, despite numerous fights and arguments, a special relationship takes place between Heleora and Vintadh.

Not long after the war started, Khan escapes from the Human rebellion's base and goes back to his castle. Thinking that Khan betrayed her, Laya orders her army to attack the castle.

As the Human army was about to be defeated, something totally unexpected happens: Khan defeats his father in a dual and becomes the new Imek King.

After signing an armistice with the Human army, Khan marries Laya, laying the foundations of a durable peace between Humans and Imeks.

Short Description : Laya is the leader of the Human rebellion. Her parents and her elder sister were all killed by Imeks when she was 10 years old. Thus she strongly hates all Imeks but one : Kalahan, the second Imek Prince who saved her life 5 years earlier. She has a very strong personality and could do anything to achieve her goal: toppling the Imeks' regime. Only this mattered to her, until she met Khan, the Heir Prince, and fell for him.
She's not a very happy and funny person. She's pretty distant and doesn't trust people easily. Her armor is made of a special metal that protects her from Imeks' mental powers.
She's mixed blood (Asian-European).

Short Description : Khan is the Imek Heir Prince, and Kalahan's brother. He used to despise Human beings until he meets Laya, for whom he chooses to betray his father.
He's not a friendly person. He's rather cold and distant, especially with his brother, Kalahan, whom he considers as a traitor. His only friend is his most loyal soldier : Vintadh.
Khan has the power to move stones and to force people to kill themselves.

Short Description : Kalahan is Khan's younger brother, and has always been strongly against Humans' slavery. Five years before the beginning of the war, he escaped from the Imek castle and joined Laya's army after saving her life during a minor fight.
Kalahan is a very kind and reasonable person. He never gets steamed up, no matter what. He's not a fighter, but he has great strategy skills. He has been loving secretly Laya for a very long time, but never found the courage to tell her.
Kalahan has the power to heal wounds and to make people's emotions disappear.

Short Description : Vintadh is Khan's most loyal soldier. They had been friends for many years, and Vintadh used to follow any instruction given by Khan, until he mets Heleora. During his captivity, he was watched over by the Human girl, with whom he ended up falling in love. When Khan orders him to kill Heleora to prove his loyalty, he refuses to obey, for the first time of his life, and decides to stay with Heleora and the Human's army.
He has the power to create glass walls and to make people see things that are not real.

• Q: What are the main differences between Humans and Imeks?
  A: The main differences are the following:
  - Each imek was born with 2 powers: 1 psychic power and 1 physical power
  - Imeks have "uncommon" eyes colors: gold, silver, red, purple ...
  
  
• Q: Does the Imek's eye color mean anything? (e.g. class, social status) or their eye color doesn't mean anything and depends on their origin (or totally random)?
  A: Nope. It's purely ... genetic.
  
  
• Q: How do Humans and Imeks calendars correlate with each other?
  A: Eh .. I don't have the answer yet. I have to think of it.
  
  
• Q: What is the home planet (dimension?) of Imeks?
  A: That's one of the story's mysteries, hehe xD. No one knows, at the moment. I'm actually planning to dedicate a whole part of the story to that. But basically, they came from another world and they invaded ours when they found a way through.
