tab tab The first impression you'll get of Samira is that she tends to be very sweet and friendly. It's really not a trick or anything, she really IS a good girl despite all of her character flaws. She likes to help people and really enjoys making friends. She has a very charismatic personality and always holds her head high. It's obvious that she is a very confident person, yet she does not cross the threshold into arrogance. While sweet, she does come off as a bit boyish in nature, but it's all part of her charm.

It could be attributed to the fact that she IS ruled more by her emotions than her head, though. She's the type to act first, think later, and she's INFAMOUS for her horrible temper. The smallest thing can set her off and she isn't afraid of making a scene.

She likes to charge into things head first and doesn't ever think about the long term impacts of her decisions.

Biography
tab tab Mihran Ghanem spent his early adulthood trolling around as a mercenary. It was his over the top warlike efforts that garnered him the attention of the war goddess, Enyo. Their affair was brief, as affairs with the deities tended to be, but as a result, Samira was born. Shortly after,Mihran decided he needed to settle down and get his act together. Giving up his life as a criminal, he moved to the states to start over so that he could raise his beloved daughter. That was where he met a young woman in college named Hafizah. She felt pity for the poor man raising a baby girl on his own, so she offered to help him out. Soon after, a romance budded and the two college students found themselves in love.

Three years later, the pair was married and their son, Rami was born. The siblings got along wonderfully and even though Samira wasn't her daughter, Hafizah raised little Samira as her own and loved her as such. As far as they all knew, Samira's mother died when they still lived in the Middle East, so no more questions were asked about her. She was raised like any normal child in America with her father, mother, little brother, and dog. They lived in a middle class neighborhood and went to a decently ranked school. She didn't make perfect grades but she was good enough to stay out of trouble.

It was when she was about twelve that weird things started to happen. One day after school, some kids from a rivaling school district decided to pick a fight with her and her small brother. Trying her best to protect her brother, as she was always a very protective older sibling, something inside of her snapped. In a fit of rage, she completely lost control and ended up pulling a light pole out of the ground and chucking it at the group of boys attacking them. They were pinned on the ground as she stepped forward, somehow a spear materializing in her hand. It was Rami's cry that brought her back to reality. Freaking out, she snatched up her brother and they ran home.

After sobbing to her father about what happened, he finally came clean about who her mother really was-- to everyone. Hafizah wasn't happy that she was lied to and she could hardly believe the children's story. It was only when Enyo appeared to them and confirmed things, explaining Samira's powers to her did everyone seem to let it sink in. They decided living in their normal suburban life wouldn't be safe for them anymore, especially if Samira could accidentally kill people with her bad temper. Thus, Enyo advised the family move to Asfalis and even assisted them in getting there safely.

Things in Asfalis were particularly easy for her family and they had no problem settling down there. When she was sixteen, she landed a job working with the animals at the coliseum and eventually got promoted to being their tamer over the years. At eighteen, she moved out into her own home and has been steadily working to make a life for herself as an adult over the past year.
