Relationships with other characters

The Doctor
Tina respects the Doctor incredibly, and she is also very clingy to him - he is the last time lord, and she cannot imagine living without a timelord. She is quite overprotective of him. He treats her sometime like a sister, sometimes like a a friend, and sometimes like a pet. They are very close from the moment they meet - Tina is the closest thing the Doctor has to another member of his kind. They can sometimes argue, and at times the Doctor can get very angry at Tina - for example, when she doesn't want to go and rescue Martha because she feels she's replacing Rose. The Doctor teaches Tina alot about compassion and equality.

Rose
When they first meet, Tina is very hostile towards Rose - seeing her as an inferior being, and cannot understand why the Doctor travels with her. However, Rose's courage and compassion show Tina what fantastic creatures humans can be. She and Rose become very close during their time together aboard the TARDIS, and Tina is devastated when Rose leaves.

Mickey
Tina is very affectionate towards Mickey from the moment she first meets him. She sees his potential to hero, and gets angry at the Doctor when he's playing at 'Mickey baiting'. She is delighted when Mickey joins them aboard the TARDIS.

Martha
Tina is very hostile towards Martha to begin with - she sees her as a replacement for Rose. As time goes by, she begins to accept her, and, when she leaves tells her, "you were more than a match for Rose." However, they never developed as strong a bond as Tina had with Rose.

Jack
When Tina first meets Jack at Torchwood, she find him infuriating. They learn to work together, and actually make a great team. Both seem to be unwilling to talk to each other properly about the Doctor and Rose.
When Jack returns to Doctor Who there is some flirtion between the pair, which begins when Jack awakes and first sees Tina.
Tina: Jack!
Jack: Tina, hey. Looking good....give it a few more years.
Doctor: Oi! Stop child molesting...do you, do you two know each other?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Donna
Because Tina never thinks that Donna will become a proper companion, she does not treat her with the hostility she treats Martha with. She likes Donna alot - and Donna becomes quite protective of her.

The Master
Tina, although in many ways she hates the Master, also respects him, in a way, because of the fact he is a timelord, and that Caspian looked up to him. She is genuinely upset when he dies.

The TARDIS
Tina is able to talk to the TARDIS - and has a greater understanding of it than the Doctor himself.
