Caspian

#1
A handsome young teenager, with blonde floppy hair and blue eyes. Fresh out of time lord academy. Lacking in self-confidence. Admire the Doctor and the Master.

#2
More daring , more rock 'n' roll than his previous incarnation, this Caspian seems to be a combination between the tenth Doctor (David Tennant) and the sixth/seventh Master (John Simms)

#3
A kind hearted, sweet third incarnation, he looses the Master's influance, and becomes more like the fifth Doctor.

User ImageBio

Tina began life as a TARDIS belonging to a young timelord called Caspian - I say young because he was only on his third incarnation when this took place. Caspian had a particularly strong connection with his TARDIS - he really saw it as a living being; a friend. There are hints that he was in love with his TARDIS, and she with him in return. When Gallifrey and the time lords were destroyed during the time war, Caspian went to drastic measures to save his TARDIS. He could not leave, but he sent his TARDIS across time, transporting it away from the war, so that, though he died, his TARDIS was safe. But the TARDIS still took heavy damage, and was left floating across space, unable to time travel with no time lord. She found herself very near Earth in 2019. So she did something drastic. She transformed into a human girl. She retained one hundredth of the knowledge she had as a TARDIS though that's still a thousand times more than an average human. She also retained some of her 'TARDIS power' - though she could not time travel, she could see and connect to time and space, and she had telekinetic abilities and some telepathy. She found her way to a children's home and used her telepathic abilities to convince them that she was just another orphan who's parents had been killed in a car crash. She stayed living at the children's home for seven years, but one say, when she was thirteen, everything changed. The Doctor - the last remaining time lord, or rather his TARDIS, picked up Tina's TARDIS signal. The Doctor recognised it and tracked it to the children's home. He and Rose entered, a quick flash of psychic paper convincing the manager that they were welfare inspectors. Tina overheard the Doctor mention timelords, and realized who he was. She told him her story, and with alot of psychic paper as well as general charisma, the Doctor managed to legally adopt Tina. She then joined him and Rose aboard the TARDIS, and has been with him every since.

Personality

Tina is an incredibly strong willed person - quite stroppy teenagery. Think Lily Allen - she will bad mouth people straight to their face. But she is good at heart; she has ethics similar to the Doctor's when it comes to helping people. She can also be tender, when she finds a dieing baby Darlek, her first thoughts are that it is a young child in need, not that it would have grown up to be a killer. However, she had many human imperfections, such as selfishness and vanity. She is very energetic, and sees humans as incredibly inferior creatures - not so much to TARDISes, but to timelords. She is very hostile towards Rose at first, and can't understand why the Doctor travels with her. But as time passes, Rose shows her what humans are capable of and the two form a close bond. Tina's attitude towards other species becomes fairer, though she can be quick to make assumptions based on first impressions. She becomes very into fashion - much to the bemusement of the Doctor. However, she hates long dresses and very high heals. She treats timelord with a sort of reverence, despite her close friendship with Caspian. At first she never argues with the Doctor and blindly follows his commands, though at as time goes by the becomes more relaxed towards him. When she meets the Master however, though she doesn't surrender to him by any means, all of her usual cockiness is gone - because she simply cannot bring herself to be truly rude to a timelord.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Appearance

An average height for her age, Tina is very skinny and pale, with long legs and slender fingers. She is a size A. She has an English Rose complexion, with a blue/green eyes, a light splattering of freckles and a pleasant smile. Her hair is long, falling to just above the small of her back. It is light brown and very curly, frizzy and wild. She has quite large ears and high cheekbones.

Episodes

I imagine Tina with the Doctor every episode from School Reunion onwards, but I mapped out a couple of extra episodes based about her.

TARDIS child

Tina's first episode, this falls between Tooth and Claw and School Reunion. The Doctor finds Tina, but also bumps into a monster called the Tericon, a primitive race who want to devour Tina because of the great amount of energy she contains. Long story short, the Doctor, Rose and Tina defeat them and Tina becomes the Doctor's new companion.

I started writing out this ep, you can read what I wrote here: [x]

The Lonely Goddess

This episode comes between the Idiot's Lantern and Fear Her. The Doctor, Rose and Tina end up on a planet called Rascojar, inhabited by a primitive race which takes them to be demons and tries to kill them. They attempt to drown the Doctor but Tina uses her TARDIS power to save him and the inhabitants then take her to be a goddess. During the episode we see alot of Tina's past, and see how much she misses Caspian and greatly the the loss of him affects her.

Cargo Hold

This is a very sketchy idea for an ep that falls between 42 and Human Nature. It involves the return of the Tericon, and the battle with them, along with the Doctor and Tina ending up stuck in the Cargo Hold of a plane, trying to find the Sonic Screwdriver, while Martha is stuck with the TARDIS unable to get inside it, because the Doctor took her key for some reason. Tina also kisses the Doctor, in order to temporarily transfer some TARDIS energy into his cells. Like I said, very sketchy.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Torchwood - Tina

I also pulled together an idea for an ep of Tina in Torchwood - in Tina's timeline this falls after the Runaway Bride and before Smith and Jones, but I'm not sure where it falls in the Torchwood timeline. Torchwood are doing a scan when, for some reason, they lock onto Tina's TARDIS signal and transports her to Torchwood. There are hints this may be something to do with the Doctor's hand, though this is not specified. We have the whole 'meeting Tina' bit, then an alien race attack and Tina helps Torchwood defeat them, before them sending her back. She does not mention this to the Doctor, alot later she says she, "knew what he'd think [of Torchwood]."
Relationships with other characters

User ImageUser ImageUser ImageUser Image
The Doctor

Tina respects the Doctor incredibly, and she is also very clingy to him - he is the last time lord, and she cannot imagine living without a timelord. She is quite overprotective of him. He treats her sometime like a sister, sometimes like a a friend, and sometimes like a pet. They are very close from the moment they meet - Tina is the closest thing the Doctor has to another member of his kind. They can sometimes argue, and at times the Doctor can get very angry at Tina - for example, when she doesn't want to go and rescue Martha because she feels she's replacing Rose. The Doctor teaches Tina alot about compassion and equality.

Rose

When they first meet, Tina is very hostile towards Rose - seeing her as an inferior being, and cannot understand why the Doctor travels with her. However, Rose's courage and compassion show Tina what fantastic creatures humans can be. She and Rose become very close during their time together aboard the TARDIS, and Tina is devastated when Rose leaves.

Mickey

Tina is very affectionate towards Mickey from the moment she first meets him. She sees his potential to hero, and gets angry at the Doctor when he's playing at 'Mickey baiting'. She is delighted when Mickey joins them aboard the TARDIS.

Martha

Tina is very hostile towards Martha to begin with - she sees her as a replacement for Rose. As time goes by, she begins to accept her, and, when she leaves tells her, "you were more than a match for Rose." However, they never developed as strong a bond as Tina had with Rose.

Jack

When Tina first meets Jack at Torchwood, she find him infuriating. They learn to work together, and actually make a great team. Both seem to be unwilling to talk to each other properly about the Doctor and Rose.

When Jack returns to Doctor Who there is some flirtion between the pair, which begins when Jack awakes and first sees Tina.

Tina: Jack!
Jack: Tina, hey. Looking good....give it a few more years.
Doctor: Oi! Stop child molesting...do you, do you two know each other?

Donna

Because Tina never thinks that Donna will become a proper companion, she does not treat her with the hostility she treats Martha with. She likes Donna alot - and Donna becomes quite protective of her.

The Master

Tina, although in many ways she hates the Master, also respects him, in a way, because of the fact he is a timelord, and that Caspian looked up to him. She is genuinely upset when he dies.

The TARDIS

Tina is able to talk to the TARDIS - and has a greater understanding of it than the Doctor himself.
