PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL AVORY PROFILE!
    >> Gaia profile in next post in spoiler.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Below is simply quick little blurbs about Avory for you, in case you don't want to read the entire profiles. <3

                        >> Please use they or ze when referring to Avory!

                        >> What is gender-fluidity? It's a complex and can be a confusing thing! It's different for every person and is also known as genderqueer. In my cutie's case, it means they can shift, mentally and physically, from a "boy" to a "girl" (or from masculine to feminine and visa versa). Some days they prefer cute dresses and bows in their hair, and some days you'll find them in slacks, a nice shirt, a vest, and their breasts bound properly ( proper breast binding is important, people! It won't affect your drawings, but a side note to those who practice it x ux; ), so they're hidden.

                        >> So, what does that mean for drawing them? Honestly, not much. The most important things to include in your drawings: FRECKLES. My baby-ze is a freckled cutie and freckles are so important.

                        >> If you're not comfortable drawing the wings, by all means leave them out ! Don't be scared of them! You can try if you want, but if you leave them out I won't be upset. Just notice that if you do draw them: the wings are black near the top, and get lighter as they fan out towards the bottom.. with.. uh.. little itty bitty white spots everywhere... their wings may or may not.. uh.. havesomefreckles. Their eyes are gray with... blue speckles.. = w=

                        >> Just in case you want to know, they were biologically born a female, so the breasts are real. I wasn't going to include this, but if you're going to do lower cut dresses, just know that yes, there will be some legit chest there (because their boobs aren't exactly small). If they are dressed feminine, please keep is somewhat modest. They are not promiscuous or "sexy".

                        >> Personality tends to be a little more reserved and shy, blushes easily especially when complimented but can have boosts of confidence when dressed more masculine. ( more specifics in the full profile! )

                        >> Feel free to ask for more information! I have done my best to refer to them as gender-neutral, so I ask that you please try to do the same! However, mistakes are made and that's a-okay! I had to make a few corrections to my post, so don't be embarrassed if you accidentally refer to them with an incorrect pronoun. <3

                        >> If you want to draw them with your own characters, please please please please feel free to do so!!! I support that so damn hard!

Avory is a generally shy and modest individual, though they're incredibly intelligent and good with their hands. When they're dressed up in a feminine manner, Avory's very shy about it and blushes commonly if complimented, often buying more dresses because they're cute and never wanting to wear them because they lack the confidence for the day. When they're dressed more masculine, however, they tend to walk a little taller and speak a little louder. The fact their personality changes with how they dress has everything to do with the way they are perceived when they dress the way they do. When dressed femininely, ze finds themselves looked at much more which can make them feel uncomfortable and awkward. When dressed more masculinely, they can tell they are taken more seriously and while looked at just as often, they know they're looked at differently. When called into work, they dress in a way to make them look as androgynous as possible to avoid being scoffed at for looking """"too female"""". This is a problem they can do nothing about.

Kiddlet
It was a good thing that Avory liked freckles, because they were everywhere.

Their hair was mussed, swooped to the side and flicking up in places, haphazardly framing their face, with one strand falling down to tickle the top of their nose. The freckles fought for position, splashed across their nose and their cheeks, branching out to stroll casually up and down their arms like they had run of the place. Even on their wings -- folded to fit in the dressing room, of course -- the freckles were present, little white dots scattered across the top edge and down on the lower feather, where the colour faded.

There were more freckles peeking over the tops of their stockings, too, but at least those were hidden, as they stared into the mirror at the almost-boyish face peering back, head tilted to one side in thought.

This dress was better, they decided -- modest, and cute, because the cute was very important. They reached up absently, underneath the tips of their hair, readjusting the collar so it sat flat against their skin. Ruffles framed the high v-cut neck and continued down to their waist, splitting apart on each side of a row of buttons. The sleeves were short, just covering their shoulders, but they were the only short part -- the skirt came to just above their boots, cinched at the waist with a ribbon that dangled almost as far. It was a nice fit, too -- not too tight around the bust to draw attention, but not too tight to hide it completely, either.

Avory hummed to themselves and did a little spin there, in the dressing room, with the dress flaring about them. It was the selling point, really, and they grinned at their reflection proudly, smoothing the dress down one last time as they came to a stop.

Gosh, but this was definitely going to be the cutest dress they never wore!

American_Flyleaf_Girl
( First appearance of LEONARDO (Lifelike Electronic Organism Normally for Assassination, Repair, and Dangerous Observation). AKA: Leo! )

When he'd been completed and programmed and given his final set of computerized reminders pertaining to his place in the world, his skills, his rights, and his lack thereof, Leo had set out for his transport container and temporary stasis with a relatively solid frame of what to expect set in his thought processors. He would be purchased, he would be delivered and removed, his system would be switched back into active mode, and he would be briefed on his instructions, probably tested to be sure of his functionality, then given his first assignment. He expected to regain artificial consciousness in some kind of orderly facility, by orderly, businesslike people of a less-than-morally-sound nature who would then send him off to do less-than-morally sound things, which deep deep down he wasn't actually alright with, but he didn't have to be in approval of the orders to obey them. That was his programming. Follow orders to a T. This and more, was what he thought he'd be waking to.

So, when he found himself blinking back 'awake' in a simple but cozy suburban living room, surrounded not by suited corporate criminals and other characters of the sort he'd been informed of but by two other bots (First: older model. Much older, archaic status, surprisingly well-maintained, large, possibly second-generation HomeBot system, minor adjustments made, wearing pink apron. Second: model of indeterminable age, considerable adjustments made due to damage, unusually expressive face for older types, blanket cape bearing images of Spiderman comic book character.) and a human (wings, approximately 18 foot span, sex > female, gender > unknown), he couldn't help take a few minutes longer to absorb the information as it was far out of his expectations.

The human waited for him to properly boot up and give his programmed introduction, his make and model and order number, his classification and completion date, then paused, slowly moving to stare down at the papers in her (their?) hands, then glancing towards the larger older model for a moment. He looked down briefly then around, ensuring he was intact (perfectly), and realized that they'd settled him into a dining chair next to the table for his system activation. Large home, very personal, comfortable, lacking in any semblance of criminal professionalism, and according to his slowly awakening sensory input, there were cookies cooling somewhere nearby.

The human removed themselves to quietly murmur with the older model -- automatically he turned his attention elsewhere, there was a certain level of taboo involved with eavesdropping on one's activating human owner -- and the other, newer(?) one stood there for a long moment, staring at him with abnormally wide eyes. Normally there would be some kind of unspoken electronic correspondence, at least with newer models, silent eye-and-body language, but he got absolutely nothing from this one and stared back with a quick blink before the other two returned, seeming a bit more prepared.

" Hey. So, " the human began, taking a breath. " Small problem, bub. Looks like they may have mixed orders here. So excuse us for the rocky start. "

Leo stared back, and he must have registered some kind of unpleasant expression. " In order to return a purchase, a number should be printed inside of-- " he began.

" No! " the human said quickly, shaking their head. " No no no. No returns. Just...a little bit of readjusting to do, is all. " Gesturing, they nodded to the other bots. " So, uh -- Leo for short? This is Rudy, and this is Bo. And I'm Avory. "

He must have registered further confusion at the introduction of names -- nothing in the sense of how he was to address them, only names, and Avory smiled a bit. " Welcome home. "

Hint -- Your Name
The client greeted Avory on his way out the door, briefcased and suited: "It's in the front room. I sent the payment already."

Before Avory could thank him, he had eyes on his ji-tel, flicking through the morning's news with his thumb. Avory let him go and stepped into the abandoned suite. Standard furnishings greeted them --- upscale ones, sure, but Avory didn't expect anything less from a client who casually rang them up to fix a spare bot.

Avory eased the door shut behind her. After the soft zip of the automatic airlock, they took a moment to breathe in the stillness of the place. Coffee lingered in the air and something toasted a tad too long. Avory hoped that the client hadn't called them in for something as trivial as a lagging timer on a cook-bot. God know they had been summoned for less.

And speak of the bot, Avory found it just where the client had said, powered-down into a bulky squat, between a panther-black couch and an imperious swirl of a floor lamp. They left it untouched for now; preparations came first. Though not immaculate, the living room was tidy enough that Avory deemed it spacious enough for work. They set down their toolbox by the lamp and unslung a little bag from their hip, laying that out on the thick glass top of the coffee table. Always better to see the spread of one's tools, Avory thought. Helped with focus.

As did absent clients. Avory imagined that a sharp-jawed businessman like this client would be the type to hawk over them and find reasons to argue every repair fee. But no, today was just them and the broken bot.

"Who the ******** you?"

Avory jolted back from the coffee table. The voice sounded thin and slurry with sleep, but Avory wasn't taking any chances. "I'm sorry?"

" 'said who ******** you?" The question tapered into a yawn, as a small figure wandered out from the bedroom. The girl had one hand slapped to her face, scrubbing ineffectively at her groggy eyes. "The ******** you doin' in my house."

She had short cinammon hair, too shiny not to be chemically treated, and the polished pale skin of those who can afford to keep it. Avory didn't notice what she was wearing; their gaze halted at the constellation of hickeys up the girl's neck.

"Sorry," Avory managed with a dry mouth. "I fix robots -- I'm, um, mechanic. I'm here to fix your --- " They waved a hand at the deactivated machine. " -- the robot."

The girl squinted at Avory half a minute, and then scowled. "Well stop ******** staring at me. I'm not even dressed."

Avory's gaze plummeted to the floor. "I'm really sorry."

"Right, then would you move?"

"What?"

"I need t'get dressed, 'n I don't fancy you standing there watching me. 's disturbing."

Avory blinked twice at the plush carpet before peeking up at the girl. She looked serious. "Where am I supposed to...go..."

"Kitchen or something, I don't give a s**t," she tsked. Muttering another swear, she pushed her hands through her hair and turned back to the bedroom.

So Avory, with a grimace at their tools, all spread out and ready in the living room, retired to the kitchen to wait. The kitchen was in worse shape than the front room, a coffee mug left in the sink, crumbs around the toaster, and an odd mess of a dining table. It looked as if they had had to abruptly clear a space, for the napkins and salt shaker and everything else were all shoved off to one corner.

Whatever. Avory didn't need to know about the table. They needed to kill five minutes, so the girl didn't throw a fit and call their company with complaints, and then they could return to work. Five minutes was a short time, so Avory decided against taking a seat. They wandered the little circle around the center island a few times. Leaned against this and that counter. Tried not to eye the coffee mug and how easy it would be to squirt some water in there and at least wash the smelly dregs out.

At the eight minute mark, Avory crept toward the doorframe connecting kitchen and living room. "...ma'am?"

Immediately came the reply: "Not ready!"

Avory had never really grasped why they needed to leave the living room so the girl could dress in the bedroom, but...rich clients were an explanation for their own actions.

Still, Avory persevered. "Ma'am, I really need to get to work."

"So make some tea while you're doing nothing!"

"Tea?" Avory repeated under their breath.

They scratched at their hair and took a look around the kitchen. No, wait. They were here to fix a robot, not be a kitchen one. But the coffee smell was starting to get on their nerves, so they dashed some water in the mug and rinsed it out. Avory was looking for a drying rack, or somewhere else suitable to leave it, when they heard the bedroom door open again.

"Right. I'm decent," the girl announced, as if the queen were now prepared to receive supplicants. Avory tried to edge into the living room, but the girl stopped them at the threshold, escorting Avory back into the kitchen.

"So who're you?"

"The mechanic."

The girl gave her a dry look. "...yeah, you've a name or what?"

"Avory."

"Avory," she repeated, although chopping out most of the middle syllable. "Right. Carolyn."

"It's nice to meet you, ma'am," Avory said, hurrying to add, "but I think I should get back to --- "

"So where's Jimmy gone anyway?"

"Jimmy?"

"Yeah." She dabbed at her hair, checking the curve of the bottom and tidying loose strands behind her ear. "Jimmy."

After a long second, Avory realized, "Mr. Farland?"

"Yeah, Mr. ******** Farland," she said in a sigh. "The one who's paying you, luv."

"He had work."

"A meeting?"

"I --- sure."

"Hm." The answer didn't seem to thrill her, nor did this little interrogation delight Avory.

So again, body language stiff and voice firmer this time, Avory tried, "I do need to get to work, so if you don't mind, Mrs. Farland."

"Oh Christ," Carolyn gagged like Avory had squashed a bug with their bare hand. "I'm not his ******** wife. Did you make tea or not?"

Avory exhaled a tight breath and closed their eyes for a second. Hold it together, resist the urge to bolt. "No."

Carolyn glanced over at them, disgruntled. "Why's that?"

"I don't know where anything is," seemed like a reasonable, polite answer.

"Mm." With another unimpressed look at Avory, she started pulling open cupboard doors. "You could've tried to look. So you're a mechanic, you said?"

"Yes I am. Which is why -- "

"Awful pretty for a mechanic." In the stark, surprised silence, Carolyn took another look at Avory. "Aren't you?"

"No," came out of their mouth without thinking. "I don't think so. Thank you, but no, I'm really not."

Carolyn grinned and snapped the cupboard shut. "No?"

"No."

She set the cups lightly on the counter between them, and then propped her elbows on it, chin perched on her hands. "You're sure?"

"I -- sure of what?" Avory could feel their ears starting to burn. Hold it together, don't bolt. Bolting is absolutely unprofessional.

The curved smile came so easily to the girl that Avory imagined she did this to people far too frequently. "Regardless of what you think, I think you're rather pretty. I dunno what Jimmy's paid you, but I'd love to give you a tip. 'cept," she straightened up and gave another starlet sigh, "he gets awful jealous about those sorts of things."

She meant sex.

She meant having sex.

With Avory.

The red must have burnt right past their ears and down into their cheeks, because Carolyn couldn't take another look at Avory without cracking into laughter.

"Oh, luv, please. I was joking!" Beaming, she congratulated herself with more hair-preening. "Only joking. I swear. Anyway, here you are -- that's the cups and bags; kettle's already on the stove."

At this point, Avory wondered if something stronger than tea might be preferable. They had stopped holding their breath, at least, and between the breathing and the looking anywhere expect at Carolyn, Avory felt like they had regained a modicum of composure.

"Ma'am," Avory started in a low voice (authoritatively low, they hoped), "I apologize, but I'm not going to make tea for you."

The authority whizzed right over Carolyn's head. "Oh?" She sounded outright chipper, now that she'd had her little prank. "Don't you know how?"

"I could fix your robot to make the tea for you."

"That thing?" She glanced back at the living room. "No, it's not a cooking robot. Isn't it your job to know robot types?"

Avory rubbed the side of their face. "I didn't get the chance to look at it, before.....you."

"Oh."

"But now that everything's clear, ma'am --- "

Carolyn wrinkled her nose, interrupted with, "God, you have to stop using that. I'm not some grandmother. Please," with a smile that could have been innocent, if Avory forgot the previous five minutes of conversation. "Call me Carolyn."

"Right, sure. Carolyn." At last, one request they could fulfill.

"Anyway, I don't want to drink alone. Sit and have a cup with me, will you?" She was already bustling over to the kettle and starting preparations. "If it's time you're worried about, don't bother. Jimmy'll pay whatever extra it comes to."

"It's not the money..." Avory muttered at the girl's back.

"But forgetting jokes, you are rather pretty," she stated factually, like Avory was in fashion this spring. "Jimmy didn't request you, did he?"

"No, ma'am--miss?"

Finished with the kettle, Carolyn turned back to them with a smile. "Miss is alright. Though if you're so charmed with titles, you might as well go all out. 'My lady' has a nice ring to it," she suggested, picking wistfully at a little gold heart on her necklace.

Finally worn down by the absurdity and nerves of dealing with this woman, Avory breathed out a little laugh. Carolyn's eyes snapped to Avory at once, and after a second of rapid evaluation, Carolyn beamed.

"So it does smile," she said, and Avory imagined her toes were curling in smug delight within her comfy house slippers.

"Yes, sorry," Avory said with another small smile. "You caught me a little off-guard, earlier."

"I do that," she shrugged happily. "So how much you get paid for trips like this?"

Avory didn't see the harm in naming the amount. "But that's per visit, not by the hour. That's why I can't afford to waste too much time."

"Mm-hm. Will you stop hovering and sit? Tea's almost ready."

Only one cup, Avory promised themself. They slid into the (admittedly comfortable) chair, hands folded self-consciously on the table. While Carolyn minded the tea, a silence stretched across the kitchen. Sitting in quiet seemed even more wasteful than killing time with chatter.

Avory cleared their throat and instigated: "So what do you do?"

"******** Jimmy, mostly."

Thank God Carolyn had her attention on the kettle, because Avory felt their eyes spring open wide as plates, and their damn breathing smacked into a wall again.

They weren't going to try to answer that.

"Oh, but that reminds me!" Carolyn chirped. "Avory, luv, watch the tea a moment."

"No, why?" Avory asked in vain, knowing the girl had already hummed her way out of the kitchen. The departure gave them the opportunity to wash their face, at least --- and then switch off the stovetop and pour the tea. When Carolyn still hadn't returned, Avory made a break for it and stole the tea into the living room. The bot was within reach.

"'kay, so." Carolyn pushed the bedroom door open with a stiletto, her arms preoccupied with other pairs of shoes. "Oh good, you're out here. Look, now which do you think is better for a summer party? We're not on the beach or nothin, but it's summer-themed, right? So I dunno."

At least Carolyn had a good reason for the long gaps of absence. She had already changed outfits twice today, now in a bright little thing that Avory supposed could count as a sundress, with various heels and sandals in hand.

"I think it's too much, going sandals outright. This is still a party, not a beach barbeque. But there's, like, an indoor part and some sort of patio --- thing --- " she waved a shoe vaguely in the air. "I dunno..."

Avory looked slowly across the options, confused frown deepening. "I don't think I'm qualified to help with this." And the bot was right there, in arm's reach.

"Tch, don't be silly. You're definitely the sort to ask. You look like someone who'd buy your girlfriend jewelry she actually liked, and not some fat s**t garnet the salesman conned you into. You know?"

"No, I swear I have no idea," Avory said with a shake of their head.

"Well, c'mon, just look," she pouted, coming around the couch for Avory to see. "I need a man's advice and the party's this evening already."

Carolyn continued to make noises and sounds about something, but they didn't reach Avory's ears. Their attention had narrowed down to a more disturbing detail. As Carolyn flaunted around in the little dress, and lifted her leg to change out shoes, a mangled blotch of skin came into view, the bruise looking like rot against her white skin. And Avory would bet her entire pay for this visit that Carolyn had a matching bruise on the inside of her other thigh too.

"Are you alright?" Avory said, so quiet and low that Carolyn shut up to hear it.

"What?"

"Are you...alright?" Avory hadn't examined too many people after sex, but they had the overwhelming feeling that a pair of bruises like that were not from passion.

Head cocked, Carolyn dropped a couple shoes on the couch. "What do you mean?"

"Living here. With...him." Avory couldn't stop their gaze from dropping once more, mind fixated on that mark. And that last look brought it together for Carolyn, who silenced her smile.

Then she said, "Yes."

"You're sure."

"Yes."

"If you..."

"I'm fine."

"If your situation ever changes..."

"I'll find someone better than a mechanic," Carolyn answered, and her grin clicked on like a light. "Even a mechanic so pretty and tempting as you. I think the green ones are best, after all. Don't you?"

"Green is a good colour," Avory murmured.

"Good." She grabbed up her shoes and flashed another smile. "You brought the tea, lovely. You're welcome to that while you work."

"Thank you."

American_Flyleaf_Girl
A few months after his arrival, Bo was still not quite sure how he felt about Leo. He was nice, regardless of his programming, and had settled down well in their little family and their home; he was much, much better than the other unsuccessful additions they'd tried to make to the house, and above all, he was kind to Avory, and used the right words almost always, and to Rudy, too. And he was quiet and gentle and felt safe to sit with, and by now Bo was all too happy to pile onto the couch with him and Avory and Rudy for movie time or even just cuddles and talking. All in all, he was good.

But that was how it had been the last time, too, and he couldn't be certain until more than a few months passed, he couldn't. Because he could always says something, do something, change just a little, and he would no longer be a nice safe bot, and he wasn't ready for that again. Avory's assurances and Rudy's gentle reminders helped, but...experience would only prove him right or wrong, and he hoped -- hoped hoped hoped -- he would be right in thinking maybe Leo was a good one who would stay.

He was still a little shy around him, though only when it was just himself and Leo in the house; a few times had come now when Rudy and Avee had gone into the city and left them alone, and each time Leo had been content to check in on him while he watched a show or read or did something quiet by himself, gave him space and quiet, and that was nice. He knew that Bo was not yet perfectly okay with him, and that was okay.

Bo and the cold, however, were very very very not okay.

Avory had explained it like arthritis -- the cold did things to metal and synthetic bone, and made the materials tighten up, and unless a bot was insulated properly, this could be very very uncomfortable, as it was with his hands and feet. His knees and elbows and shoulders and hips were a little better protected, though not much, but his wrists and ankles were almost completely open, and so when a cold front stormed in on their side of town suddenly he found himself uncomfortable within a half an hour, watching television in the front room under his Wonder Woman blanket and flexing his fingers idly, the bandages moving with his hands as he wondered quietly why he felt so stiff all of a sudden.

Another half hour, and the discomfort had turned to hurting, and Bo gave his hands a pitiful look of desperation, hoping so so hard that it would warm up a little. Unfortunately, the house was very susceptible to temperature chances with so much metal lying around, and himself being made of plastics and metal and the like did not help at all. Rudy and Avee had left for the day for a long job in the city, and he could vaguely hear Leo taking care of the morning dishes in the other room; ignorant to the dark clouds and the temperature drop outside. Modernized bot, very high-tech, synthetic flesh. He wouldn't hurt. Rudy did, sometimes, but Bo got it the worst, and it wasn't long before he let out a cracked little whimper involuntarily, inhaling shakily and squeezing his eyes shut as he sat tucked up on the couch. In the kitchen the water stopped and footsteps tapped down the short steps into the front room, Leo appearing in the doorway with a towel in hand.

" Bo? " he asked, voiced gentle but laced with concern. " Something wrong? "

He sniffed a bit, and his chest ached -- much much colder now. The rest of him would hurt too, deep in his skeleton frame. Leo dried his hands and set the towel aside, heading over and waiting until he was well within Bo's sight to gently settle down on the couch, touching his shoulder tentatively. " Hey. What's wrong? "

"...s'cold, " he whimpered, lips tight as he tightened up his grip on his blanket, the ache stronger there than anywhere else, knees tucked up close to his chest as if to try and shift out the pain. Leo looked confused for a moment and then seemed to realize, frowning.

" Does it hurt? " he asked, palm flat on one arm and making a gentle, slow circle motion, the same one Avee made when he was upset or achey, and it helped a tiny bit but not much. Bo nodded, sniffing a little again and letting out a shaky, uneven breath, wincing. Fingers curling tensely, he buried his head against his knees, trying not to whimper again and especially not to cry. But Leo kept rubbing his shoulder and choked, sobby sound came out, and he whined softly, squeezing on his blanket again.

" Shh, shh, " Leo crooned gently, hand sliding away as he stood. " I'll be right back, okay? " He was gone in a second and Bo buried his face deeper, hoping that either Avee would be home soon, or that Leo would leave him to be miserable alone; the worst case here would be being taunted. That had happened before, with the other bot, and the mere thought made him cringe even more --

And then, there was something warm on his hands, and he yelped a tiny bit, lifting his head to look up. Leo had returned in seemingly record time with an armful of things, several hot water bottles and a heating blankie among them, and Bo stared back at him for a long moment while he set them down on the table, one water bottle sitting on top of his aching hands. " These are what Avory puts on you, right? " A weak nod was all he could muster. " Can you lay back? "

It took some effort but eventually he was on his back with the Wonder Woman blanket tucked around him , propped up against one of the throw pillows with legs stretched out and the heating pad tucked around them, a hot bottle on his hips and two sandwiching his hands under another blanket Leo salvaged from the bedroom. It still hurt but he was warm, and he relaxed after a good while of laying there stiff and achy under Leo's worried watch, little sniffs still leaking out now and again as he shifted or breathed just a little too wrong and it struck him again harder than before. Leo hovered but not too close, bringing him a glass of water after a little while and sitting down close to him to adjust the blankets as necessary, and help him drink and other little things that were not so little.

" Better? " he asked softly after a while when Bo's hands had begun to relax and he stopped whimpering, and he gave a small nod, tucked under his warm cocoon of blankets and looking up at the other bot with a quiet sniff. Leo smiled back lightly and gently patted his head, standing to go get him fresh water and setting it down again once he returned. " Do you want me to let you rest for a while till Avory and Rudy get back? "

He paused, considered, and shook his head a little, managing to slide one hand -- less sore, still faintly achey but not nearly as bad as before -- out from beneath the blanket and reach for his. Leo paused, blinking and smiling lightly before he gently took the hand, and Bo sighed softly, closing his eyes for a few long, slow breaths. Leo didn't move away, just sat there, and he was glad.

" M'happy you stayed, " he said eventually, and Leo blinked at him, a bit surprised though not unpleasantly, and he smiled softly back at the littler bot.

" I'm happy I stayed too, Bo, " Leo replied, thumb rubbing his knuckles soothingly. " Go to sleep. "

F . A . Q
frequently asked questions

                What is Avory's biological sex?

↘↘↘ Avory was born a female. This means their breasts are real.

What does that mean when I draw them masculine...?

↘↘↘ Absolutely nothing! Breast-binding (wikipedia article for more information can be found here!) is a common practice for concealing breasts, and it's important that it's done correctly and safely. Those who practice this include: those who are genderqueer/non-binary, transgender men (ftm), and it's also handy for cosplaying. When done safely and correctly, breasts pull a disappearing act and are no more.

What style of clothing does Avory wear?

↘↘↘ It will obviously depend on whether it'll be feminine or masculine! Feminine dress is going to be mostly cutesy type things, lots and lots of dresses and accessories and leggings and shoes! Their ears are not pierced, but they do have clip on earrings, and they love necklaces and bracelets and things to fiddle with. They dress very modestly, never too sexy or promiscuous, because they are not comfortable enough with their own body to do anything like that. When they're dressed feminine, they just want to focus on looking cute and being as lady-like as possible. They are willing to try any style once, however, so own tons of different types of clothes (aka: go crazy). Masculine dress is going to be very different. They're fond of suits, vests, ties, and dress shoes. But they also do like boots, loose fitting jeans, button up shirts, etc. Casual male fashion is important to them, too. No matter what they're dressed in, however they dress fashionable! And love different kinds of layers to the outfit. On top of all of that, know that they are also a robotics mechanic! Which means sometimes they're dressed in overalls and covered in grease... and sometimes they were sweatpants and shirts that don't fit them correctly.

AH s**t, I drew them masculine with no shirt on and they have a boy chest! DDD:

↘↘↘ Shhhh friend, shhh. This is okay with me and Avory would honestly love you to bits. When they feel masculine, they can sometimes get depressed over the fact they have breasts that they can't just take off. If you draw them masculine, with a male chest, you are their hero.

omfg I love them, can I draw them with my OC?

↘↘↘ Yes. yEs. YES. Did I mention yES?

You mentioned robots? What're you talkin' about?

↘↘↘ More information on Avory's robots (Rudy, Bo, and Leo) will be coming soon. ninja -pokes American_Flyeaf_Girl- Until then, more information on those three can be found on Avory's CharaHub Profile.
