- being reincarnated, he doesn't know anything about his past. his mind is vivid with pictures and dreams about a girl he might have once known (aka han bang deok)
- being part of the martial arts school, he's been taught to kill the supernatural for the menacing acts they've caused (such as the ogre's in the past or any other supernaturals that cause havoc). though he is in no way of wanting to harm other creatures, he's always had a guilt inside of him for attempting to fight supernatural. so when in danger, he will talk the supernatural out of fighting so that they could have peace between humans and supernaturals. (this is likely due to the fact that when he was han bang deok; he loved red and red was obv. a vampire which shows that potentially jae is carrying out han bang deok's wanting of 'protecting loved ones')
- he doesn't easily believe in superstitions or stories about the past; so when they tell about the legend of han bang deok, its all just a fairytale to him
- he has his own belief and honor code: "not to harm the earth while the earth does not harm" which is deciphered that things out of ordinary always go back in the order they should and that supernaturals don't really abide in his book.
- though he may have sentimental feelings for the supernaturals, jae really doesn't like the idea of vampires/ghost/whatnot clashing with humans. side by side they don't really.... fit together. he thinks its just wrong. he thinks its unbelievably and impossible but who knows what might happen when the story lays out.... (he's quite opposite from han bang deok though he will eventually end up with someone on the other side)
- his life isn't that fun besides martial arts and well love life...but other then that, his everyday life consists of the battle field and teaching.
- jae can be seen as a cold hearted martial artist, his methods of teaching include dead beat beatings, bookwork, and he speaks in a moderate monotone voice which can scare or make people fall asleep
- some say he's a boring teacher but to others they say that "learning from him is like learning from a saint"
- he enjoys meditation after a hard day's work, especially after torturing i mean tutoring other fellow subordinates and students their lessons
- he doesn't have any siblings or parents that he knows of. he's like an abandoned child of the past. though, he inherited the role through his relationship with the current master who took care of jae when he was a baby and doesn't recall any relationships he might have known. the master is like a great uncle to jaehwan.

☠xxxxxbackgroundxxxxx jaehwan is best known as the upcoming heir of cheol son hidden martial arts with his superhuman martial art skills. before he was chosen as the heir, he lived a distant life with his older cousin han sun eun.

many years ago, when jaehwan was a baby, han sun eun's family and jaehwan's family were still alive, the family's lived as next door neighbors. side by side the two separate families shared similar interests, hobbies, common goals, etc, but not only did they have similar qualities, both families had protected cheol son hidden martial arts school together.

chaos took apart the families as rogue vampires refused to correspond to their leaders. suffering from terminally ill diseases, jaehwan’s family was the first to go. soon after, the han family adopted jaehwan as the younger heir to the family. the han family kept their promise to lead the lineage of the young family as a part of their adopting of jaehwan. but years later, when saneun started her first job, the han family's head passed away.

saneun was left to take care of the big ol’ martial arts school and her younger cousin jaehwan. the two never acquainted each other as they both had set their priorities to live a normal life outside of the world of hidden martial arts. though, saneun's dad had made sure san had prior training from start without questions for it's purpose. but since their death, she had come to a realization to lead the family lineage whether with or without them.

jaehwan, being fifteen years old faced a completely different life with being lonesome in the normal world. he suffered from traumatizing grades (he for sure didn’t understand the school’s coursework because obviously his genes show he’s more into practical skills such as martial arts, etc), outrageous attacks on students, and multiple counselor reports on his behavior. with his elder cousin, it was worse. the two were distant, saneun only made time for jaehwan when she needed to, and he for sure knew she was never in the house. one day, following her after school to her “so called job”, jaehwan made his way to discover cheol son hidden martial arts school. this big reveal led to his training with martial arts among his elder cousin and other classmates of the school. his terrible grades turned into stellar achievements as he attended cheol son. it was much more easy to make friends in the school than without. he became the all-star at cheol son and to this day, he will become the uprising heir.
