◈ Believe it or not, Noelle was a rather gentle person before. Noelle was kind and considerate, a person who valued the people she loved. Noelle is quite intelligent, being one of the top few in her classes. She also has the tendency to be bold and rash in extreme situations... Though when do THOSE ever pop up in quaint little Pallet Town? Like, NEVER!

...Then came the attack on Pallet Town. Many people were killed. Some of the people who died were very close to Noelle. Stress built up and she ended up cutting town in rage on the Pokemon. All Hopes died in that attack, so she set out to kill the infected Pokemon. Not like anybody would be fixing them anytime soon. She organized and led the up rise of Team Eclipse under a new name and background. The easiest solution would be to eliminate the problem, so out goes Team Eclipse to do the dirty work. In her words: "You're welcome."




»--- History


◈ Noelle was born in Pallet Town long long ago, not that she'd admit to it. She never met her dad, as he simply got up and left a few months before she was born. She was told never to blame herself, but Noelle couldn't quite help but do so every now and then. Noelle was born with heterochemia, meaning she had two different eye colors: One White, and one Black, something she inheireted from her father. Her mother couldn't bear to look at her, being reminded of the man who left her every single day as she looked down at their child. By the time Noelle turned six, her mom got up and just left... Vanished, is probably a better word, as one night she was at the house... And Noelle never once saw her since.

She was taken in by her neighbors, a kind older couple that had lived in the town all their lives. They ran a small shop in town. It never had been much, but it was better than trekking out into the city for basic needs. Being taken in, Noelle worked in that shop for her guardians. Sure she was taunted for numerous reasons: being abandoned by her parents and in general a strange person, but she did have a few friends. Many of them she ended up meeting while she worked. It was something she kinda had to do. They took her in after all...

Noelle's tenth birthday came and went, though she wasn't able to go on an adventure like most other kids in town. She was stuck working the shop. Her guardian's theory was that with the children off on an adventure, their parents would pay to send letters or something. Noelle never really understood their logic. But whatever made them happy, she'd comply with. Especially if it meant leaving Pallet to get parchment. The bit of freedom she got turning ten was being able to venture into town with her father figure to restock the shop. It wasn't much, but it was better than just sitting around in Pallet all day. At least she was going somewhere... Even if it was just a town or two over.

On her eleventh, Noelle got a bow and arrow for her birthday. She didn't go hunting, though she made and shot targets in her free time. It was something she enjoyed to do when she found free time. An escape from the trials and tribulations of work and school, if you will. The beginnings were rough, though she practiced and got rather good with the weapon. Plus, it was good stress relief.

When Noelle was twelve, she and her father ventured to a nearby town per usual. The shop doesn't restock itself. A man approached them frantically with a purple egg in his arms. Without much warning, he shoved it in Noelle's arms and ran off shouting of a curse or something. She deemed him insane in his mind, but whatever. Her father wanted her to get rid of the thing, but Noelle insisted on keeping it. After playing a rather cruel "You took me in when I was unwanted" card, he let her hold onto the egg. Noelle walked around with that thing for quite a while. In fact, it wasn't until she was thirteen that the egg finally hatched into Gastly. Her parents didn't want much to do with that... thing, but Noelle insisted on keeping him. She gave him a name and now was able to travel out by herself.

This lather, rinse, repeat of a life went on for quite a while. One day, her guardians had to go out of town for something themselves. Despite their age and Noelle's offers to go herself, they went out for reasons Noelle didn't know of... Reasons Noelle never found out either. Something had happened to them during their trip. Whatever it was, Noelle didn't know. They never returned. She was seventeen at the time. Noelle closed the shop for a period of time in mourning of her guardians. In a nutshell, she was practically alone. She refused to believe their death though, setting out with her Gastly to find them. A week long trip to Pewter City was all it took to find the truth. They were dead afterall.

The walk back was more lonesome than ever, though Noelle refused to cry. She arrived back at Pallet and opened back up the shop, working away the pain. Things got better for a while after. Her Gastly evolved into Haunter, she a supposedly kind and caring man and married him. Then the Eclipse came and destroyed the town. Many people she cared about were left for dead. Her knight in shining armor abandoned the town he cared about and Noelle couldn't stand it. She ditched town to do something about it. In the end, she formed Team Eclipse to fight against the E. Pokemon under a new name. A new name for a new beginning. Her Haunted evolved into Gengar as if to make a new page for himself too. If all goes well, Noelle Starr and her followers will kill off the E. Pokemon that took away the people she cared for. The first killings hurt, but she got over it as did her followers. Her recreational bow and arrows was now a weapon of justified killing. Now she travels Kanto to spread her brainwashings messages of Team Eclipse.

• Hatched from an egg some creepy old man gave her, Vittorio is her companion and friend. He is devious at times, though it's only out of love that he'll mess with you... Or total spite. Whichever works for him. His top priority is to knock some sense into Noelle by any means necessary.

• Vivi is usually a rather calm pokemon. Strongwilled, she prefers peace, but she is willing to put up a fight for those she cares about. Often does she enjoy to walk about, as running brings up a few structural problems... With the Eclipse, Vivi will use her strength and size to her advantage and attack even Noelle, but it takes a bit to provoke her. Not alot, but it takes a bit of time.

• Cortez is rather agressive, with or without Eclipse. He is short tempered, quick to anger, and rather tough. He is rather a loner, although attached to Noelle and the others. He likes to fight and battle, and will go up against just about anything. With the Eclipse, nothing much changes... He's just more prone to biting humans and such.

• Ray is one of the newest to the team, but he is also one of the strongest. He's like a gigantic puppy. He loves attention, enjoys the little things in life, and he loves hugs. He grows attached easily, although he's practically glued to Emerald. An odd pairing, but one sweet to look at. With Eclipse, his attachments weaken, he feels less obligated to people like Noelle.

• The runt of the group, Emerald is a little easy to overlook between the Gigantic Mammoth and the Huge Shark. But don't count her out! She is incredibly fierce and independant. Despite her size, she is strong, both in body and spirit. Occasionally, she'll act like a motherly figure towards the others, even Noelle from time to time! Although she is very attached to Ray. An odd pairing, but a sweet one to look at without a doubt. With the Eclipse, she acts just like any other Pokemon would.

• Fang is more of a silent observer, one to watch over the others. But if pokemon or people begin to bicker, he immediantly breaks it up, trying to resolve it. He is rather wise... That's then only time you really hear of him... With the Eclipse, he is loud, almost arrogant.

The man smirked down to her, not trying too hard to hide his laughs at the measly rock Noelle defended herself with. Although, he gave her a puzzled look. He asked about the rock, to which Noelle replied honestly. That led to the fact her parents left, the ridicule, everything. He had introduced himself as Hans, and only Hans... A bit later in the evening after the talking, the man smiled and bid Noelle adeu, the Gastly leaving soon after. Noelle went through the motions of another lonely day until a knock on the door came the next night. Startled, as she never found herself with visitors, Noelle opened the door not to find a person, but an object: A red and white ball many people her age had already input into their daily lives. Inside that ball was the Gastly from the night before. Hans stepped out from the shadows and this night, he didn't leave, but stay as a father figure to Noelle. She accepted him right away as the parent she never really had to begin with. From there, he taught her about Pokemon, their strengths and weaknesses. She and her Gastly (Quickly named Vittorio. Why? First name she thought of.) grew close to one another. Often would she battle Hans through her life, for the fun of it. Night after night, she began to win more and more against him.
