■ SOUND MANIPULATION c 】 x Natalie is unique in two ways. Firstly, Nat has an instinctual understanding in regards to varying frequencies, vibrations and individual levels of sound resonance. Secondly, because of her physiology, Natalie also possesses a unique set of lungs and vocal cords that she is able to manipulate and alter at will. Although, what isn’t clear is how she controls sound exactly; currently, it is assumed that she has some type of telekinetic influence over sound waves. The basic understanding is that she is able to bend sound and amplify, mimic, distort, warp, or hush theses waves for varying purposes. From a distance, Natalie can generate loud sonic screams or cause objects and people to resonate at highly dangerous levels. But in close combat, she prefers using a method of infusion with infrasonic sound. By causing a change in her own sound resonance she is able to make herself stronger, faster and more durable. A strike from her has a number of effects as the waves she can create can reach up to 240 dB and as low as 0.5 Hz in strength. To date her victims have experienced a multitude of side effects that include, but are not limited to, nausea, loss of equilibrium, and eardrum rupture due to the destructive force of sound pressure.
■ HARPY PHYSIOLOGY c 】 x It is not a dramatization to say Natalie is like a literal harpy from hell. Natalie has an unfortunate condition that transforms her into a mythological bird-woman. While the triggers vary, this transformation usually occurs when high levels of adrenaline course through her body. This internal reaction coupled with her own sound resonance causes feathers to sprout from her skin, her hands and feed to disfigure into claws, and monstrous wings to protrude from her back. While Natalie does have some control over these changes that alter her body, sometimes even selectively limiting their progression, it is always a painful process. Whenever Natalie is in this monstrous state she gains enhanced agility, balance, and reflexes. Than of course there's the the bonus ability to fly.
■ Natalie's greatest strength is her also her greatest weakness for two reasons: her power swaying to the whims of her mental and emotional state and the fact it is always active. In regards to the first point, if Natalie were ever to be pushed too far the sound waves she generates could potentially backlash. Furthermore, If she were ever to become disturbed or overwhelmed by too many external sound waves or lack there-of (i.e. a vacuum space), Natalie’s sound resonance could also unconsciously become unstable and again, backlash. Usually the negative feedback just results in exhaustion but it can also be as severe as damaging her internal organs from the sound pressure. And of course, referring to the second point of her ability always being in a state of activity, Nat is consequently always exerting energy so it is a given that her strength also wains with time.

■ Was surrendered when she was a newborn after she screamed and changed in her mothers arms. She was released when she was four years old into the foster care system and gained two resentful and borderline abusive foster parents.
■ Naively, Natalie had convinced herself she could have a better life if she went to school and made people see her for more than just a SPIGG and yet, even after she not only attended university but finished it, the only thing she gained was a mountain of debt.
■ The day of the SPIGG Act was like a revelation that came in the form of an eviction notice. Fired from her job, denied an extension on her student loans, and her credit cards frozen it was evident then that no matter how hard she tried she was never going to get anywhere in this sort of world. Natalie was tired of the ridicule, tired of the discrimination, and tired of the injustice in her life just because she was born a SPIGG. If the world wanted to treat her like a monster - fine. Natalie decided then and there that she would show them just how much of a monster she could be.
■ She detests human beings, but that doesn’t mean that Natalie holds SPIGGS in particular high regard either. They’re her stepping stones and a means to an end. If others like her are not strong enough to survive this world then she's really doing them a favour by freeing them of it.
■ Unfortunately, Natalie’s bad attitude is sort of engrained into her after so many years of abuse. Most of what she says comes out sarcastic and flippant as she chooses not to filter herself for the sake of others. She is both blunt and tactless and is not afraid to tell you what she’s thinking even if you don’t want to hear it. Her sense of humor in particular has strange comedic - and often inappropriate - timing.
■ As her body count grows so does her fame. People have started to call MUSE due to her inspiring death cry in midst of battle. Instead of fearing her somehow people revere the modern day Harpy come to life. It's sick in her opinion but Natalie has adopted the name none the less.
■ Natalie can't handle silence and the actual absence of noise makes her feel like she's suffocating. Psychologically she is dependent on the presence of sound reminding her she's alive and without it she falls into a panic.
■ Wears a small silver bracelet with a set of bell charms on her right wrist.
■ I don't have many specific plotting ideas right yet - but if anyone wants to be from the same foster home as Natalie that's one possibility, or there's the possibility of her parents and/or siblings that could possible be civilians or some sort of other SPIGGS. A friend and I are applying together so we have at least a little idea of my character and their's being friends at arms. But more people that Natalie can run with wreaking havoc would be fun~
