Personality» Kiki is distrusting of most people, more specifically non-mutants from all the bad encounters she has had with them in her past. Do to this distrust she is very closed off to new people until she true feels she has gotten to know them. Once Kiki has opened up she is quite a cheery young woman that likes to go out for coffee or drinks.
She likes to keep to herself most of the time, but when she does make friends she really opens up and tries her best to keep them as close and as happy as she can. She loves being outside with plenty of space to both parkour as well as have a smoke. Kiki does her best to keep the people she knows and likes to try and spend as much time as she can with them. She isn't very bothered by the allegiance her friends choose as long as they don't push their ideals on her.
In her free time she likes to practice parkour, and cooking when the weather is bad. When ever she goes for one of her runs she makes sure she has her iPod, a book, and usually a cigar or her pipe. In her downtime when she is stuck inside she can often be found in the kitchen cooking, or an open space reading. She is happiest when she is running, and easiest to be around as well as talk to when she's cooking or having a smoke.
Biography» As a child Kiki often dreamed of seeing the world as well as flying alongside birds. When she was five her mother signed her up for gymnastics at the local recreation center. She loved going there every afternoon, and right after class when she started her schooling. On her ninth birthday she get the shock of her life. While walking home from gymnastics she tried a simple vault over a park bench but found that she didn't fall to the ground as usual instead she floated forward like gravity was turned off. She screamed for help.She didn't know what to do just before she fell to the ground with a slight thud. As she laid there, she cried softly terrified of what just happened. After what felt like hours she got up and walked the rest of the way home, unaware that she had sprained her ankle when she hit the ground.
When she got home she told her mother what had happened at the park, but to her surprise she wasn't as shocked as Kiki was. She told her that when she was a baby she often did a similar thing and that she believed it was only a matter of time before she started to do it again, as well as learn how to control it. Kiki didn't think it was as normal as her mother made it sound, but now that she knew about it she might as well learn what she can do.
Kiki worked hard for the next few years on getting good grades, getting better at gymnastics, and learning the extent of her power. She found she couldn't affect things farther away from her than six inches, as well as the interesting fact that she seemed to heal faster than her classmates when she got injured doing new things, or even when she nicked herself helping her mother cook, and that the more she got hurt she would heal a little quicker. In her spare time she tried out something she had seen on YouTube called parkour. Kiki had watched a lot of videos and had been practicing some things from the videos between school, work, and the gym. She had even started to use her gift of floating to get farther and higher jumps than she could do on her own. On her sixteenth birthday she decided to invite a few of her friends from gymnastics to hang out downtown for some fun. After a good hour of getting to know the area for vaults and jumps she got her friends to gather near a set of stairs to show them her gift, but once she was airborne she found out quickly they were more afraid of her than her getting hurt.
Kiki's school life changed after that day out with her friends. People stopped talking to her and some even ran away in fear. She promised herself that as soon as she was old enough she was going to head far away from the people that now thought of her as a freak. On her eighteenth birthday she decided to buy a one way ticket to America, and she has been living there ever since.
