◈ Healing - A natural talent from her mother's side, Helena is able to heal most wounds though this does take energy from her to do so. Minor cuts and scrapes can be healed and only leave her with a minor headache. Mild wounds usually leave her winded for a few hours. Severe or fatal wounds can cause her to pass out. However, if the use of a medicinal herb is combined with her ability then the cost is lessened by a fraction.
◈ Abnormal Observation - Since she has training in reading music and dealing with wounds of a serious nature, Helena has become unusually observant. She can read a person's body language, facial expression, and sometimes even hidden meaning in their words and voice.
◈ Excellent Accuracy - Despite her petite form and shy nature Helena can handle any projectile weapon with a mastered hand. Throwing knives, daggers, stars, and even the bow and arrow. She has rather good hand eye coordination, practiced daily with her music playing.

[Biography]

Helena is the child of a happy home life, though she is an only legitimate child. Her parents raised her with respect and proper manners. Then just shortly after she turned eleven years of age her mother was killed when a dragon unleashed it's fiery breath. It was a rogue beast that came toward the city with intent to claim it as it's hunting grounds. Her mother had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time, though her father blames the dragon race for the loss of his wife. When the death of her mother happened she took up music and became so engrossed in it that it became a part of her. It was her way of expressing her feelings without having to talk. As she grew into her late teens she discovered that she had an ability to heal others when one of her friends had a minor accident and broke their arm. When she told her father of it he told her about her mother's family. A long line of matriarch healers that started with her ancestral great-great-great-grandmother. The skill is taught down the line of women in the family though there were instances of women who had the skill naturally. However, due to her mother's death she was unable to begin her own tutelage, but her father showed her some heirloom books that her mother had kept on the subject. Now that she is a grown adult and living on her own she does her best to continue playing her music and to practice her skill.


[Personality]

Helena tends to be a shy person and almost innocent in behavior. The only time she truly opens up to anyone is when she plays her music. It is what drives her and keeps her from being a hermit. That isn't to say she doesn't have a temper, but she does do her best to keep it well hidden. If insulted in a manner she can't ignore Helena is prone to tears or to small scale violence, such as slapping the person responsible. As a result of her mother's death she is slightly afraid of the dragon race, even when they are in their human guise, though it is harder for her to know them then. While she won't run screaming from them she will be slightly more tongue tied or hesitant once she learns she is near one.
