↳ Katsuo was born in Sapporo, Japan and he grew up there for the first part of his life. He moved to Canada with his family when he was about six years old, only to move to America for school sometime later in his life.

While the residents of Macau consider themselves their own country it is, technically speaking, a part of China. Arabella grew up there until she was five years old, at which point her family uprooted and moved to the United States.

↳ Elliot is what most people would call a military brat. This is because he was born on a military base and his family moved around with his father, who was a commanding officer for the Korean-American branch of the air force. In the first eight years of his life Elliot moved three different times, from Seoul to Daegu, and then from Daegu to Busan. It was when he was eight years old, though, that his father received orders to be moved outside of Korea. They took up residence in the United States at that point.

█ JAIDEN SON WAS BORN AS SON JAEHWA IN DAEGU, SOUTH KOREA. HIS PARENTS WERE SON JAEMIN AND LEE HWAYOUNG.
█ THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY, THE DOCTORS HAD BEEN TELLING JAEHWA'S MOTHER THAT SHE WOULD BE HAVING A GIRL. THIS RESULTED IN THE NURSERY, ALL OF THE BABY CLOTHES, AND THE BETTER PART OF THE TOYS BEING PINK OR EFFEMINATE. WHEN JAEHWA WAS BORN A BOY, THIS WAS A BIT OF A SHOCK. HE HAD TO ENDURE GIRLS CLOTHING FOR THE FIRST COUPLE YEARS OF HIS CHILDHOOD, AS WELL AS A PINK BEDROOM.
█ WHEN JAEHWA WAS FIVE YEARS OLD HE FINALLY WAS ABLE TO GET RID OF ALL THE PINK, AND HIS FATHER THEN BEGAN TRYING TO ENGAGE HIM IN TYPICAL BOY ACTIVITIES. HE SIGNED HIS SON UP FOR A LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAM, WHICH JAEHWA WAS NEVER ANY GOOD AT.
█ IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL JAEHWA WAS NEVER REALLY GOOD AT ATHLETICS, EASILY BEING SURPASSED BY THE OTHER CHILDREN. WHAT HE DID EXCEL AT, HOWEVER, WAS MUSIC. WHEN HE WAS SIX YEARS OLD, AT THE RECOMMENDATION OF A MUSIC TEACHER, JAEHWA BEGAN TAKING PIANO LESSONS - WHICH LATER EXPANDED TO VIOLIN WHEN HE WAS NINE, AND VOCAL WHEN HE WAS THIRTEEN.

█ WHEN IT CAME TIME TO CHOOSE A PATH TO PURSUE IN COLLEGE, JAEHWA WAS ACTUALLY CONSIDERING PURSUING NURSING LIKE HIS MOTHER. IT WAS HIS THEATRE TEACHER THAT PROMPTED HIM TO CONTINUE WITH THEATRE, ENCOURAGING HIM BY TELLING HIM THAT HE HAD A GIFT THAT HE SHOULDN'T GIVE UP ON.
█ THOUGH HE WAS ACCEPTED INTO LARGE SCALE ACTING SCHOOLS LIKE JULLIARD AND THE NEW YORK CONSERVATORY FOR PERFORMING ARTS, JAEHWA COULDN'T EXACTLY AFFORD IT GIVEN HIS FAMILY'S FINANCIAL SITUATION AT THE TIME. HE DECIDED TO GO FOR SOMETHING A LITTLE CHEAPER, BUT STILL HIGH RANKED IN TERMS OF THEATRE. THAT WAS HOW HE ENDED UP AT FSU.
█ THOUGH IT MAY SEEM LIKE IT, GIVEN HIS INVOLVEMENT IN THEATRE, JAEHWA ACTUALLY HAS NO INTENTIONS OF MAKING A GO AT GETTING ONTO BROADWAY. NOR DOES HE WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH HOLLYWOOD. INSTEAD HE WANTS TO RETURN TO KOREA AFTER COMPLETING HIS UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES AND PURSUE A CAREER IN THE KOREAN ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY.

HE CAME OUT AS GAY WHEN HE WAS THIRTEEN, WHICH CAME AS A SURPRISE TO HIS PARENTS - THOUGH THEY DID ACCEPT HIM. JAEHWA SUPPOSES THOSE FIRST COUPLE YEARS OF HIS LIFE HAD MORE INFLUENCE ON HIM THAN HE THOUGHT.

He started his martial arts training studying wushu, a traditional Chinese martial art, though he eventually expanded to studying kungfu during his time in Hong Kong. Being a stubborn man, Eun Jae's father refused to accept hand outs from his brother and insisted upon making his own living. This resulted in his taking up a lower-ranking job in the company and trying to work his way up. When Eun was five years old, however, the uncle that was in charge of the company passed away after a particularly traumatic car accident. This was when life changed for Eun Jae's family. After a scramble to reorganize the company that lasted a couple of months, Eun Jae's father was finally declared the proper heir, and was elected by the board as the rightful heir to the company given that his brother had no sons to take over for him. This was how Eun Jae's father came in possession of Beom International, the leading banking and accounting company this side of Asia. The company is in charge of the control of the better half of the money in Asia so, upon taking over, a lot of responsibility was laid on Eun Jae's fathers hands. This is the company that Eun Jae is training to one day take over, though truth be told he'd rather have nothing to do with it. His family has since moved to Apujeong in Gangnam, and since his father took over, the entire family has become accustomed to a life of moving from one fancy gala to the next, which also means being in the papers a lot. Ever since they made the rise from middle class to elite, a lot has been demanded from Eun Jae. His parents have overworked him in their attempts to get him to be the perfect son, putting a lot of pressure on him and pushing him around since he was six years old. If Eun Jae had his choice, he would hand the company to his little brother and would pursue music, because it's the only thing his parents have made him learn that he's truly become passionate about.

It's had a long reputation of being honest and reliable, and now in the year 2012 Beom International has hundreds of banks and accounting firms opened up in Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, and several countries in southern Asia. They're recognized in Korea as being in charge of maintaining and controlling the better part of Korean money and stocks, and many realize that should Beom International go under, a whole large portion of Korea's economy would likely tank too as a direct result. Not only are they responsible for keeping track of finances, but they're also behind a number of philanthropy events every year. They're quite the philanthropic company, donating to a large number of charities. Like any Korean company, though, they're interested in growing and expanding and maintaining their spot at the top, and have been known to openly threaten / buy out any companies that should contest them.

OO2. Chi Soo is the first son, and so naturally he's in line to take over the company. Truth be told, though, he'd rather do something else with his life. He's not exactly given a choice, though.

He's been dancing since middle school, though his parents are pretty much unaware. He hopes to keep it this way.

After his parents rudely jetted off for some vacation in the Bahamas when he was bedridden with pneumonia he officially swore off his future with the company and developed an aspiration to do something better and more important with his life. Between all the high class events of her childhood she's also been forced to undergo training, training to become the perfect housewife or ... in a Seoulcialites case, the perfect trophy wife. Everyone claims that being a Seoulcialite is one of the hardest things ever. Keeping up ones appearance, staying out of trouble, attending lavish parties - all while training to take over your families respected company, this is truly the most difficult thing in life. Kim Min Soo knows, though, that the thing that is truly hard is doing all this while knowing you'll never take over your families company, in other words - doing all this while living in the shadow of your older brother. Min Soo was born in Apujeong in Gangnam, like most of the Seoulcialites native to Korea. From a young age he was clearly a mommys boy, always wanting the attention and love from his mother that any young child thought he deserved. His mother and father were never around, though, and Min Soo and his older brother were often left with nannys. It's because of this that Min Soo presented himself as a rather difficult child, always pitching a fight against the nanny and objecting to the lessons which he and his brother were subjected to as "training" for being in charge of the company. Because he was so misbehaved as a child, on the few occasions when his parents were around he was often met with criticism. Why can't you be more like Chi Soo or look at Chi Soo, he's not crying. Needless to say, as a young child Min Soo felt much resentment towards his older brother. This resentment only grew in middle school, when Min Soo thought himself capable of one day taking over the company - only to be told that was never going to happen because he was the second son. He's spent the better part of his life hating his brother because of all this family and company drama. This all changed in middle school, though when Min Soo discovered his ability to play soccer. Suddenly his desires to impress his parents and to take over the company vanished. The broken relationship between him and his brother vanished, the two becoming truly close (though they tease each other). Min Soo has given up any hopes of taking over the company now, in fact - he doesn't really care what happens with it. As far as he knows, he'll be a trust fund baby until the day he dies, which gives him the opportunity to do what he loves without question (Chi Soo only wish he had such privileges). He's perfectly content playing soccer as the star of the school's soccer team, continuing to lead them to victory. And after he finished high school? Well, he's hoping to attend a good college, get scouted by a good team, and maybe one day go on to lead the red devils of South Korea to victory in the world cup. Wouldn't that be pretty awesome?

Asking the question of where Yu Lan grew up, and where he was born will receive two different answers. He was born in his family's summer home in the small city of Tongli, near Shanghai, which is where his family is traditionally from. His mother stayed there for the first couple months after his birth to avoid travel and risking their health, but soon she and Yu Lan were moved back to their standard home situated in Hong Kong, China. Yu Lan spent his life growing up between his family's lavish penthouse apartment in the main part of the city, with a perfect view of Victoria Harbor, and the family home situated on Hong Kong Island. He never really understood the true reasoning behind his father's desire to have him educated in martial arts, at first assuming it was a method to get him to improve his confidence. Yu Lan learned the real reasoning when he was eight years old after a less than favorable run in with the paparazzi which, as a direct result, was cause for him to focus even more intensely on his martial arts training and to be more wary of people. Yu Lan has grown up well, though he may come off rather spoiled given he's never had to want for nothing he's by no means a bad person. All it takes is breaking past the outer wall that he puts up and you'll have made yourself a truly kind and devoted friend. His family is still in the spotlight, even moreso now than before, and over the years Yu Lan has developed an affinity for being able to conduct himself perfectly at social events, thus earning him the nickname (from his fan club and the press) of "Prince Yu Lan."

OO1. the world of fancy parties, fast cars, and limitless credit cards is something that han ki bum is incredibly new too. he had a modest beginnings in the city of pasadena, california.

OO2. he grew up with no knowledge of who his father was, though his mother always spoke ill of him so he didn't really care about the man. on kavan's sixteenth birthday, however, the man decided to walk back into his life. kavan was escorted back to korea to begin learning how to be the heir to han enterprise. some sixteenth birthday present, most parents get their kids a car.

OO3. he still has a lot to learn about the world of the rich. though his father has already instructed him about keeping up appearances, thus the new wardrobe and car, kavan has yet to grasp concepts like the need to blow thousands of won every month or to always be caught doing something scandalous by the newspapers. he still chooses to live modestly.

OO4. he used to have ambitions to become an idol, being the sort that was talented with composing and freestyle rapping. however, now that he's been brought into the world of seoul's elite, his goals have changed. he wants to prove to people that is possible to live in this world and not be a complete jerk.

OO5. if you want to become friends with him, the way to his heart is with sweets... or just food in general.

These past two years have been like some kind of Cinderella story, at least most people would think so. The average person would view going from living a middle class lifestyle in California and having to work to assist your mother to being the heir to a substantial company in a matter of days is some real Princess Diaries type stuff that you only see in the movies - but despite what everybody else says about his change from "poor" to wealthy being the makings of some kind of fairytale, Kavan truly hates it. I'm getting ahead of myself, let's start from the very beginning. Upon arrival in the uterus, the zygote fuses itself to the -- Sorry, Kavan was trolling, proceeding. Kavan's mother and his entire family is traditionally from Korea, his mother being born and raised in the Daegu area. His mother was studying culinary arts in college when she met and presumably fell in love with Kavan's father. They had a whirlwind affair which, at some point, ended up in Kavan's mother getting pregnant and being rejected by his father's family. She was pretty much bribed by Kavan's paternal grandfather to disappear to avoid his son being disgraced, which she did willingly. This was how Kavan and his mother ended up in California. She used the money to move to Pasadena to live near her cousin, because everybody knows that Pasadena is merely an extension of the Koreatown in Los Angeles. Kavan was born a healthy baby boy in Pasadena and, from the very start, he was his mother's entire world. She spoiled him as best as a single mother trying to support her son could, thankfully his paternal grandfather still continued to pay her off to remain silent. The better part of his childhood consisted of going on wild adventures with his mother, the two often being the sort to drop everything and going on some crazy road trip. By time he was in high school, while most teenagers were rebelling against their parents, Kavan's mother was one of his best friends. Because of their many adventures when he was a kid, this fostered a love of adventure and - in certain cases, getting into trouble for Kavan from an early age. In elementary and middle school his mother would often receive reports that he failed to follow directions on most of his assignments, Kavan choosing to colors skys green and the grass pink. This evolved even further in his Freshman year of high school when his mother received call that he'd been causing trouble at school, replacing the football teams gatorade supply with a mix of salt water and food coloring, poking fun at substitute teachers, and then - as he got older, teasing the underclassmen. No matter what she always defended him, claiming that her son wasn't a troublemaker, he just had a different way of expressing himself. And true to her claims, Kavan never really did this to harm anyone, he just had a knack for adventure - and a nasty habit of expressing this in all the wrong ways - and dragging people into his schemes with him. Kavan lived a very happy life style, up until his sixteenth birthday when his father decided to walk back into his life. For the first sixteen years of his existence whenever his father was brought up, Kavan's mother would always speak illy of him, so Kavan didn't have a very good impression of him from the start. When the man mysteriously showed up, both Kavan and his mother had objections. It was explained that his father's wife had been unable to have any children (well, male children), quite unfortunately, and it had become neccessary for Kavan to become part of his father's family to be educated to take over the company. Kavan objected harshly, as did his mother (she objected the most of the two of them). In the end, however, all this arguing resulted in Kavan being practically dragged back to Korea despite any objections. He's been living in Korea for the past two years and he's hated every moment of it. His father has been teaching him a lot about wealthy life, it requires acting like you're better than everybody else and acting like you own the world just because you carry around a hunk of elite plastic. Despite the many lessons his father has been giving him, Kavan chooses to ignore them. He's still acting like himself, refusing to let wealthy society change him no matter how hard they try. The most difficult thing for him was when he first moved to Korea. Given his mother was from Daegu, when she taught Kavan Korean he ended up developing a southern Gyeongsang style accent, which up until that point nobody had a problem with. All the ahjummas in Koreatown always thought it was cute. According to his father, though, that was the first thing that had to go and he was quickly taught to speak in a Seoul accent. Ever since that first change, a whirlwind have changes have followed as Kavan is groomed to take over his father's company. Kavan is slowly becoming accepting of the company thing, but not all the training. If he's going to take over this company, he's going to do it his way, and nobody can stop him.
