◈ Long-range Killer: Ceesa has much greater range than most opponents. He can keep them away and wear them down as they struggle to get close enough to land a blow.

[Biography]

The Bram family were originally very close supporters of the king of Allora. Csaba Bram, the patriarch and Ceesa's father, spent a lot of time in the court, working to better the kingdom's relationship with dragonkind. For the most part, he was successful; he'd helped reach a mutual agreement between the races, so that peace could once again flourish. However, not everyone was overjoyed at the idea of dragons living amongst humans. The Bram family gained many enemies for being "dragon sympathizers".

It wasn't long before hate gave way to bloodlust.

A man wrapped in dark cloth had shown up at their front door one night. He killed Csaba's mistress, right in front of little Ceesa and his sister Juda. The two screamed for help; Csaba came downstairs as fast as he could, laying eyes on the mysterious hooded figure... Only to watch him turn and run back into the night. It was obvious someone had intended for Csaba to answer that door. If he had, it would have been him on the floor, lying in a pool of his own blood.

The Bram family was no longer safe. Knowing this, Csaba sought someone to teach his children how to defend themselves. He turned to the king, asking to grant him this one favor... The king obliged, ordering his Royal Guard to train the two of them in the arts of war. Ceesa and Juda were thrilled at the idea! They did not understand why anyone hated their father, but if it meant they got to carry weapons, then they could never have enough enemies!

...That childish outlook on things didn't last long.

Three years after their training had begun, a messenger arrived at the castle bearing news for the Bram children.

Their entire estate was set aflame hours ago, and it had burned to the ground.

Their father was reported to be inside at the time.

Devastated, Ceesa and Juda held each other as they sobbed there in the courtyard.

Who had done such a thing? Why would anyone harbor so much hate towards another living being? The children did not know the answer, but they swore to take revenge one day. They would find who killed their father, and they would make them pay.

Six more years passed. Ceesa, now nineteen years old, had become the captain of an elite squadron: The Royal Dragoons, a mixed platoon of human and dragon knights. His sister, Juda, had become a royal diplomat of sorts; at the time, she was visiting another kingdom in hopes of establishing a trade agreement.

She never made it back to Allora. A messenger arrived at Ceesa's quarters, informing him that Juda had been a victim of mutiny. She'd been stabbed in the back by her own men. The messenger told Ceesa to take solace in the fact that the deserters were now being hunted.

In his hand, the messenger held Juda's favorite hat. He gave it to Ceesa, and then quickly made his exit.

Ceesa cried out in anguish.

Knowing that it was only a matter of time before assassins came for him next, Ceesa deserted his position as Captain, wishing never again to work with any sort of nobility. His heart was heavy, and his eyes were only set on one goal: Retribution.

In the years that followed, Ceesa became a very infamous mercenary and bounty hunter. It's often said that he takes pleasure in assassinating nobles, just as the nobles indirectly killed his family.

And hey, the money isn't half bad, either.


[Personality]

Ceesa is a very passionate and courageous man who strives to avenge his family. He despises smooth-talking casanovas, and relishes the chance to put boisterous, arrogant people in their place. At the same time, Ceesa can be quite cynical. His sense of humor is very dry, and it's extremely rare for someone to be able to make him laugh. He is very adamant about his beliefs, and anyone that disagrees with his methods or theories can expect a swift tongue-lashing from him. In spite of his time as a Captain, Ceesa is not very polite or knightly. In addition, while many people find Ceesa frightening, he sincerely wishes that people would see him as a normal man once in a while, instead of 'Knight Gorgon'.

Weapon: The Bram Family Spear

Relationships: Most people tend to avoid him like the plague, but Ceesa does have a few close mercenary friends. They share a bond, not as murderers, but as hired hands who believe that they slay only those who deserve to be slain. Because of his desertion, anyone with any relation to nobility believes that he is a traitor to the king. Those that know of the fate of his family may feel some sympathy for him, but this is rare. Most only see him as a treacherous fool and a villain.

Etc: He wears the feather plume of Juda's hat on his belt, though most people believe that it's just a fashion statement.

Ceesa also refuses to slay dragons, seeing as how his family fought for their rights. He believes that killing them would be doing an injustice to his father and sister.
