Full Name - Eve de Aula

                                              Age - 18

Date of Birth - 29th February

Personality - Eve is not particularly girly - she doesn't think of herself as a tomboy, but only because she seldom bothers defining herself as much of anything. A natural extrovert, she can be aggressive at times, and brusque, but if she considers someone a friend she's willing to put up with a surprising amount.

Eve prides herself on her physique, and a large part of her confidence stems from the fact that she's fairly sure if anyone gives her s**t, she could take them down. Male or female. That said, she's not usually the one to start a fight - she can usually parlay her reputation into a peaceful resolution. She's not above making a few threats to ease it on its way, though.

One serious hot-button issue is self-control. She doesn't drink or do any drugs, not through any moral standpoint or even to preserve her fitness, though that does come into it, but primarily because the change of personality and impairment of judgement they can bring on - even temporarily - frighten her.

Sexuality - Bisexual, and open about it.

Relations -

The Jerks - I don't drink, but apart from that I fit in with these guys pretty well. They remind me of my brothers, in a weird way. They can be kind of dicks, but most of them aren't bad guys at the end of the day. They can be pretty bad when it comes to using and discarding girls, but at the same time they're pretty open about what it is they're doing. I don't think any girl would really be stupid enough to fall for it - if they open up to these guys, they know what they're getting. So it doesn't really bother me.

Haru - Hah, Haru. For the most part, any girl that falls for him probably wants to be fooled. He does have a conscience, I think I saw it once. Needs pricking occasionally, but he does know right from wrong.

Liam - I can never quite work out whether we're rambunctious friends, or rivals. It's going to come to blows at some point, either way. Could be interesting, he knows his stuff. He could be something pretty spectacular if he didn't waste his time and his health on drinking and smoking. I think I could take him.

Tristan - Reminds me of my eldest brother. Again, there's good in him, but you do have to look a bit further to find it. Breaks hearts for fun, but I suppose just like the others, it's pretty obvious what he is, really. If you fall for it, more fool you. Pretty good laugh when he's not skirt-lifting.
- Scratch that. Scratch all of that. I made a promise to someone very important to me that I wouldn't get directly involved, and as far as I'm concerned that's the only reason this gobbet of unutterable ooze still has a pulse. Unfortunately I also promised not to tell the reasons behind it, so... sorry.

Geeks - Smart and unassuming. You know what that gets you? A dead-end office job, nine times out of ten. There are too damn many people in this world - top of the class sounds good, but there are a hell of a lot of classes out there. You've got to stand out to get anywhere.

Stefan - What about him? Bright enough, but at the expense of pretty much everything else. Including being faintly interesting.

Fiona - Cute, but too meek. You'll never get anything in life if you're not prepared to take it for yourself.

Lyndi - Ahh, now, Lyndi's a bit different. She'll do alright, I think. Just as smart as the others, but with a bit of spirit in her, even if she doesn't like to show it. She's a scrapper, deep down, but we'll see more of that side of her soon enough. What? Oh... call it a hunch, I guess. Cute as a button, too.

Jacob - Bit of a wet blanket. Mopes around too much. Probably not a bad person, but definitely a downer.

Powder-Puffs - Spoiled girly-girls. Very occasionally, people that say I'm too unfeminine get to me. But when they do, I just take a look at one of these people and realise I'm not doing so badly. Some of them are pretty cute though, I'll give them that.

Lexi - I know for a fact that slim little girlish figure takes a lot of work to keep up, even if she takes airs like its natural as breathing. Whatever though, she works hard at it and that's worthy of respect. On the other hand, I'm not sure if she's notching that bedpost, or flat out whittling, if you catch my drift.

Ralia - Alright, now I might be out on a limb on this one, but I reckon there's something going on here. Ralia acts just as powdery and puffy as any powderpuff. If you follow, that was... kind of a weird turn of phrase. But like recognises like. Somewhere down the line, this girl has been trained to fight. She tries not to show it, but I can see it in the way she holds herself. See... in itself, that's no big deal. A lot of people learn a bit of self defence, or whatever. It only catches my eye because of the whole 'I'm so harmless' schtick she's pulling. Worth looking in to.

Loners - Too disparate to sum up as one group. Not so much a clique as a lack of one.

Keaton - I just can't imagine that. Don't want to imagine it. All it takes is one knob behind a wheel and boom, there goes your leg. I think I'd top myself. Credit to him that he hasn't, I guess, but hanging around him just makes me think about it happening to me. Is that selfish? Whatever, point is I can't take it.

Hannah - Cut her some slack, alright? She's tougher than she looks. Reminds me a bit of myself some ways. What? What the hell are you laughing at?

Clyde - On the surface, the kind of useless waste of skin who'll sit around and cry rather than DOING something about the stuff that's bothering them. I've heard rumours that he can turn pretty nasty, though, so I'd say he's one to keep an eye on. Always the quiet ones, right?

Childhood -
Eve grew up in a London, but a million miles from the international image of beefeaters, double decker buses and ancient buildings. Eve's part of town tended more towards the burned out cars, derelict houses and CCTV. Childhood was rough, but Eve had half a dozen older brothers who looked out for her. They protected her from most serious threats, although she still had to defend herself from them on occasion - their brotherly scuffles made no distinction for gender. She was always something of a tomboy - her mother was too busy with a full-time job and seven children to be much of a female role-model for her. When she was about nine years old, though, she suddenly started dressing entirely as a boy - keeping her hair cropped short and looking as much like one of her brothers as she could manage.

She also started acting up a great deal more - swearing at her teachers, driving away her friends and even getting in trouble with the police. Her parents were growing frantic, convinced their only daughter was out of control and likely to end up in prison. In their desperation, they took a local martial arts centre up on their promise to instill discipline and respect.

Eve took to it like a duck to water - at first it made things worse, as now when she attacked boys at school she was rather better at it - but over time the lessons the teacher had promised her parents did begin to sink in. She committed herself totally to her training, and the better she became at fighting, the less she began to actually use it. Eventually she even came to see the route she had been heading down, and from her newly found objective standpoint, it scared her. So, perhaps not unreasonably, she credits martial arts with saving her life, and keeps a very close eye on herself to prevent any slacking, or drifting from the course she has set.

Teenage - Formal schooling took a back seat to martial contests, for Eve. She got passing grades at early stage exams, but took medals in local and national tournaments. She got more and more ambitious as a result, saving her prize money until she had enough stashed to move abroad, to study her favourite martial arts at the source.

At school in England, she was a bit of an outsider. Too aggressive in demeanour to be popular with most of the boys, and not feminine enough to be in with the girls. She didn't overly care, though, she had her own thing going on and that satisfied her more than any of them would in any case. It actually turned ugly on one occasion, with a brutish guy who took offense to her acting 'all high and mighty', and tried to take her down. Unfortunately his dumb machismo pride meant he wouldn't admit it when he was beaten, and in a flash of temper Eve broke his arm.

The boy's parents threatened to press charges, and the police got involved, but there were enough witnesses willing to testify that he had started it, and that he'd also refused to stop when clearly beaten that she narrowly managed to avoid expulsion or a criminal record. Narrowly. She left the school not long afterwards in any case.

To her own surprise, now that she's moved abroad, she's found a circle of people she gets on with well, and become a bit better socialised as a result.

How do you feel about the trip, Eve?

"Well, I guess I've earned a break? Not convinced, to be honest - I'm a bit worried it'll be too big a break in my training. But I guess I can still work out, right? Should be pretty fun, anyway."

How do you feel about your classmates?

"What, all of them? How long've you got? They're a pretty mixed bunch. Some of them are pretty cute, some of them are loudmouthed idiots. There's some overlap. Some of them stay pretty quiet, which is cool because it means I don't have to listen to them."

                                              No crushes, then?

"Eh, not really. I could be convinced, I guess."

What's the dream? What do you want to do when school is finished?

"Honestly, schooling's kind of incidental right now. The dream is Rio 2016. Team GB, that'll be me. Kicking a** and taking medals. You wait and see."
