♔ ▬ BLURB ❜ ◟ If you want to talk about a full 180 personality change, Hannah Lee is the girl to look at. Her family is one of the top food companies all around the world. Specializing in Korean cuisine (that you don't have to cook), people save money and wait for hours to be able to eat the food. The family got so rich that they were able to buy other Korean cuisine businesses to further expand their wealth. By the time she was thirteen, her family was one of the richest people in New York City, forever taking their place in the elite. Before she started at OCD however, her father passed away from a fatal car accident, leaving her mother in charge of the entire company. However, she didn't care as the wealth went to Hannah's head by the time she started at OCD. Her wealth (meaning her mother's big chunks of money donated to the school) managed to get her out of trouble for numerous occasions and her large stack of money in her bank account allowed her to bribe pretty much anyone that was desperate for cash. It was because of this that she was able to grab the "Queen Bee" position. With her power, she also organized the Pretty Committee with a few of her friends. Her ability to make herself two-faced allowed for her to be both loved and hated by everyone in the school. Her reign lasted all throughout sophomore year and half of her junior year. Unfortunately at the end of her first semester of her junior year, she got dragged into a scandal with the previous guidance counselor who sexually harassed her. Someone had seen it, took a picture and before Hannah could find out sent it to Gossip Girl. The picture was blasted to every student at OCD, which began her fall from the throne. She was officially dethroned when (according to rumors) the same person (rumored to be someone from PC) emailed the blast to the headmasters and got her expelled. She spent the rest of her junior year in Korea at an all-girls catholic private school. But before her senior year, she was given the chance to return when her mother married the King's father. So now she's returned (after her parents paid OCD a very large amount of money to let her in). However, instead of the old b***h Hannah from before, she's a completely different Hannah. She's toned down and she doesn't put herself above others as much as she used to. In fact, she hardly puts herself above others anymore. She hopes to spend her last year at OCD quietly (not that she really has a choice on the matter) and hoping to get some form of her pride back. In other news, Hannah is quite the fat a** (after all her family owns restaurants). She's lucky to be blessed with a fast metabolism and a drive to work out after eating a big meal.




♔ ▬ BLURB ❜ ◟ In the Jeon family, the men are taught since the day they were born the three "Ch's": Charm, Charisma, and Chivalry. So naturally, Matthew is going to be all three. For the most part, Matthew is an all around good guy with a good head on his shoulders. He's friendly with everyone and while he knows that his social and economic status rates higher than practically everyone in the school, he doesn't use it for his personal benefits. His family started Jeon International back in South Korea when it was first Jeon Corporation. His family started the company back in the early 20th century, opening up five star hotels and resorts all over Seoul. When they became very successful, they expanded their business to places like Jeju-do and Busan. Eventually after many decades of success and piling up the money they needed, Jeon International was able expand beyond Korea, dominating Western Europe and other parts of Asia. The Jeon family officially felt successful when they expanded to the United States, investing on many hotels all across the country (save for Alaska). Eventually, the Jeon family became one of the wealthiest families in the world. One of the highest in the elite, the Jeon children were always groomed to what society would call perfection. Even if Matthew was not destined to take control of the company, he was still groomed to be the perfect gentleman. And perfect gentleman he is. He's a people person through and through and although he knows his place in society, he doesn't rub it in people's faces as much as his other friends. Instead of taking on the family business, his father wants him to go into politics; become a lawyer and hopefully be the youngest senator in Congress. It is for this reason that Matthew is currently the Student Body President of OCD, and no he didn't get this position because of his vast amount of money that his family piles into the school yearly. Despite his money, he's respected in school. It is for this reason that when OCD royalty arose during his sophomore year, he was easily crowned King of OCD (money may have helped a little there though). With his previous Queen's help, Matthew created F4 alongside Hannah's Pretty Committee. In all use of the term, Matthew rules the school. His family is the top contributor at OCD and his track record with the other students is impeccable. Except that it's not all that clean. Matthew, like any person with money and the power his family has, has a dark side. He is capable of making anyone disappear without a single trace of them if anyone were ever to cross paths with him or the people he cared about. No one entire knows about this, or at least they don't know the full story of it, but people in OCD know to not cross paths with him ever. But aside from that, he's great with everyone, a people person through and through. He's definitely ready to be a senator. If it wasn't for the fact that he actually wants to say "screw politics" and debut in Korea.




♔ ▬ BLURB ❜ ◟ If there is one person in OCD that has an absolute plan of getting out . of that school, it's Arden. Initially, she loved the idea of going to a prestigious school thinking that it would broaden her future after high school. She was give a tennis scholarship after one of the administrators of the school watched one of her matches and she accepted it almost instantly. It does help that her older brother had been given a soccer scholarship around the same time to the school as well. When she started at OCD when she was twelve, her personality started out as being sweet and meet to please. With all the rich students walking around the school, she felt like she had to step her game up to them like her or even give her the time of day. This especially goes for the tennis team which had very few to no other scholarship students except herself. because of this, she became quite the diligent student; working hard and well during practices and working twice as hard academically. It was happily like this for a couple years until freshman year arrived. A few seniors on the tennis team pressured her into trying out smoking. She eventually got addicted and while she wasn't a terrible chain smoker, it still affected her performance in tennis to the point that she almost lost her scholarship at the end of the year. After that incident, she promised herself that she would quit smoking entirely. With this, she also held a very strong grudge against the elite. She ended up having the singular opinion that unless proven wrong all members of the elite in OCD were spoiled brats that were useless in the world. This opinion and other opinions later to come we're silent at first, but after coming across her idol and noted spirit animal, YouTube famous David So, she found the courage to express her opinions out loud whether the elite was around her or not. With this new sort of way of living, Arden hopes to get herself as far away from the elite as possible and never come back. For now she grins and bears it, states her opinions openly, and saves up every single penny she could save from working as a barista or at the bakery of her family's cafe. Because unlike many at OCD she understands the value of a freaking dollar.

X ▬ ♔ x ) x the lee family has always had a good sense for good food. it started when hannah's great great great grandfather started a restaurant business back in seoul, south korea which gained much popularity among the korean elite. a generation later, hannah's great great grandfather was able to extend the business to other countries in other parts of asia. her great grandfather extended the business towards western europe and the united states. now, the lee family owns a long chain of different korean restaurants, seorabol included. it all started because their family was notably one of the best cooks in all of south korea.
OO2. X ▬ ♔ x ) x despite being born in manhattan, new york, hannah was forced to learn her korean native tongue. though she hardly uses korean, she understands it perfectly. however her lack of usage of the language has made her self-conscience of how she speaks it.

X ▬ ♔ x ) x before starting at ocd, the family was unfortunate to lose an important member of the family. hannah's father passed away from a car crash. it was a grieving time for the lee family, but they were known to continue on strong. for years it was her mother that took care of the business, and with her expertise in business management and marketing, she was able to keep it running.

X ▬ ♔ x ) x with the food industry being as successful as it is, because people need food to live (and when you're part of the elite, you want rich food to live), when hannah started at ocd her family was one of the richest to bring their children to the prestigious school. her mother gave large amounts of monetary donations to the school at every fundraising event that there were times hannah could get away from trouble. with her high end elite status, she was able to organize the pretty committee and quickly won the "queen bee" title by her sophomore year. during this time, she was very stuck-up with her nose in the air. looking down on anyone that wasn't at her level. but she was able to hide her snobbish tendencies in a snap when she needed some poor scholarship chum to get her a good grade in some project. her two-faced personality made her loved and hated. and when gossip girl arrived, she also became the most talked about.

X ▬ ♔ x ) x at the end of the fall of her junior year, she got herself in the worst drama the school had ever seen. and it was blasted on gossip girl. hannah had been called into the guidance counselor's office during a fundraiser event at the school for some unknown reason, probably to talk about her future or something. only what happened was totally different. before hannah knew it, she was being sexually harrassed by the guidance counselor who was attempting to sleep with her in his office. however, she managed to get away without it going any further. except she wasn't fast enough. in the speed of light, gossip girl blasted about what happened. only she didn't call it as it was. instead, the anonymous blogger called it a secret affair between teacher and student. in that instant that the blast was sent to everyone in ocd, her title as queen was ripped from her hands and she was brutally dethroned. it was official when the headmasters caught wind of the blast and expelled her. for the rest of the semester, hannah was shipped off to korea to attend an all-girls catholic private school.

X ▬ ♔ x ) x but this wasn't the end of the fallen ex-queen. during the summer after her junior year, her mother (unknown to her) married matthew jeon's father and joined the family company with theirs. it was after the wedding that the newly married woman asked her newly wed husband to bring hannah back. being the business savvy type, she mentioned that hannah's return would be good press for their marriage if the entire family was together. so the negotiations began. hannah was given the ultimatum that if she wanted to come back to new york, she had to return to ocd, fill her schedule academically, and keep herself out of trouble. if she sets on hair out of line, she's shipped back to korea and what she could literally call hell. even if she didn't want to return to ocd after what had happened the year before, she figured it was better in ocd than in korea. and so, after her new step-father paid ocd a ginormous amount of money (yes, ginormous), hannah was readmitted into the school under probation.

ARIANA NAM✩ 」 xx aria and hannah have been best friends since they were little toddlers. they played together, shopped together, and practically did everything together. aria is one of the few people hannah tells everything to. though even that has its limits. for example, she hasn't told her about what happened that night and she hasn't told aria that she hates seeing her with her queen title. but for the most part, hannah has learned to live with it and is satisfied that nothing has changed with her and aria. except that something has changed. even though aria is still her best friend, there is a great strain on their friendship when hannah found out that aria used her scandal to make her off as some innocent angel with a devoted boyfriend while making hannah look like a devil slut. though she would like to think otherwise, hannah doesn't trust aria as much as she used to and now refrains from telling her things that she probably would have told her before.

MATTHEW JEON✩ 」 xx started off as close friends because he was dating ariana since they were kids. their friendship was mainly mutual since they were connected by aria and so kept things formal. but as the years went on and they still remained friends, they started to develop their own type of friendship that was mainly teasing and making fun of each other. they grew a sort of brother-sister type friendship. it was for this reason that they were pretty okay with the idea of becoming step-siblings. at least they hadn't dated when they were both king and queen of ocd. now, nothing much has changed in their friendship aside from that they are actually siblings now.

BENJAMIN KIM✩ 」 xx according to ben, they have known each other since the ninth grade and put in exactly all the same classes. of course, old hannah doesn't remember that as she was too busy being a little queenka b***h. however, if her return to ocd had one amazing perk, it would be meeting ben again. he re-entered hannah's life some days after her arrival. of course, with her dethroned status, she lost all respect that she had previously held and there were many that wanted to get back at her for some of the horrible things she did. the day ben appeared in her life again, he came as a knight in shining armor. trapped by a group of students in a hallway, she was at the point of getting eggs thrown at her when ben pushed through the crowd, wrapped his arms around her and took on every thrown egg for her. after that day, they became close friends despite his scholarship status. their friendship consists of random conversations getting to know each other and lots of coffee. she visits him at his family's coffee shop every day (never missing a day). she now has a specific schedule for when she arrives to the shop that she is now considered a regular with a usual. but like all things hannah, she does have her limits for what she tells ben. she hasn't told him about what happened that night (nor has he asked her) and there are some aspects of her glamorous life that she keeps from him. but above all, she hasn't told him that she is falling head over heels for him even if their current friendship is straddling the line between "just friends" and "talking".

X ▬ ♔ x ) x let's take a very long trip back in time to seoul, south korea to the creation of jeon international corporation. the jeon family has always been a strategical family and highly business oriented. so while they do have their own set of morals especially in regards to their country and their culture, they knew exactly what they needed to do gain the money they would soon get. it was because of this strategic thinking that matthew's great-great-grandfather successfully opened a large chain of five star hotels all around seoul. in about five years, the company had enough money and investments to expand to other parts of south korea like jeju-do and busan. soon every single part of south korea that was known for tourism had at least one or two hotels owned by jeon corporation. before he was at the point of retirement and having to pass down the company to his son, jeon corporation took a high risk and expanded to other continents. before matthew's great-grandfather took control of the company, there were a few hotels in other parts of asia, western europe and australia and brought in a lot of money for the family. with the success of this expansion, jeon corporation (now known as jeon international with their expansion) was able to expand to their ultimate goal, the united states. which is what they did after the end of the second world war. the hotels and resorts were built all across the country (save for alaska) and there were a great number of hotels that were tourism-oriented. which meant that new york, california, florida, hawaii, and the caribbean had the most hotels and resorts owned by jeon international. once all the hotels were built, in business, and successfully bringing in a lot of money, the headquarters of jeon international was moved to manhattan and still remains there even though matthew's grandfather moved his family to westchester. by the time matthew's father took control of the company, jeon international bought most of the five-star hotels and resorts all across the united states and other continents. one of their most successful investments are from the hotels and resorts in the disney resorts (in which they own a third of the profits brought into those hotels and resorts). and for the most part, the wealth of the jeon family is continuing to increase and they are one of the few families that are at the top of the elite.
OO2. X ▬ ♔ x ) x now that the history lesson is complete, let's go back to matthew. he's the second son born in the jeon family. his older brother is three years older than him and is in line to inherit the company. both matthew and his older brother were born in seoul, south korea when his father moved his family back to south korea after his marriage. they stayed in seoul until matthew was about four and then moved back to westchester after his mother abandoned them for a younger man. what matthew and his older brother doesn't know is that the main reason why his father moved them all back to new york was because before him and his mother filed their divorce, he had spent all the money he could to make sure that the man she left them for would go utterly and complete bankrupt and in debt for the rest of his life. to make sure that they would never come after him and cause them trouble, he gave them an ultimatum that if they wanted to not suffer in poverty to the point that they become homeless, they would need to live off his rather small amount of hush money and never go looking for him or his sons.

X ▬ ♔ x ) x after their move to new york, the jeon boys spent their childhood being drilled with the same lessons their father was taught when he was roughly their age. however, matthew's older brother got more attention in regards to learning about how to run the company than matthew. so while his father worked with his older brother over whatever business he needed to be taught, matthew was left with time to himself. so what did he do with that time? aside from hang out with friends, he took music lessons. not exactly something that most people of his social status would do, but matthew has always had an interest in music. so from age five and on, he studied extensively for his piano, guitar, and singing lessons. eventually when he was old and responsible enough (roughly around age twelve or thirteen), he started composing his own music and bought his own recording equipment.
OO4. X ▬ ♔ x ) x when he started at ocd in the sixth grade, his father told him that since he was probably not going to get the family company, he would go into politics. at the time, matthew was willing to follow anything his father told him and so spent a lot of time with his uncles that were some of the best lawyers in new york. by the time he started was a sophomore, he was well aware of some of the basics of politics and was even at that point where he can be influential towards other people's opinions. it was also because of this that he developed the unknown dark side. when he was fourteen, he had gone snooping around his father's paperwork in his office when the man was doing business overseas. he had been curious about the divorce papers between him and his mother who he had not heard from for years. instead of finding the divorce papers, he found the written agreement in regards to the hush money. with the agreement was a signed restraining order against his mother saying that she was to never contact any of the jeon family and must never come in close contact with them for the rest of her life. realizing the dark tactics his father had opened matthew's own capabilities to be as vicious as his own father. it became evident after his crowning as king of ocd when he easily made a senior who had blurted to anyone that listened a lie about sleeping with hannah as a means to dethrone her to disappear and not a single trace be left behind.

X ▬ ♔ x ) x for the most part, matthew has his entire life charted out for him. and it was all his father that planned it out. according to his father, matthew was to win student body president in his senior year (which he did) and be president of the national honors society and debate team (which he did). it wasn't hard for matthew either. his impeccable people skills and his extravagant public speaking skills as well as his more than excellent academic record is enough to get him student body president as well as graduate top ten of his graduating class. with all this, his father wants him to apply to harvard for law school, become a successful lawyer by the time he's twenty-five. be governor of new york by thirty, and then run as a new york senator by the time he's forty. but the truth is that matthew doesn't want this life anymore. ever since he was sixteen, he's had this dream of debuting back in korea as a korean pop star. he loves writing music. he loves singing. he loves performing. not that many people know about this hidden dream. the only people he's told are aria, hannah, and the boys of f4.

ARIANA NAM✩ 」 xx even though hannah was his technical queen in ocd society for a year and a half or so, it was aria that became his queen in his heart, mind, and spirit. he met aria when he was a kid, and even though it was their parents that were trying to hook them up at first through playdates and constantly pushing them together during get togethers, he eventually started to develop his own feelings for her. so even though they were technically "dating" since they were kids, he finally accepted this roughly around the time he went through puberty. and for the most part, he will forever be devoted to her. no girl could possibly come close to how beautiful and amazing as aria (not even her best friend). although he doesn't always show that he loves her, it's mainly because he believes his relationship with her is none of the public's business.

OO1. X ▬ ♔ x ) x Although Arden was born in South Korea she was only there when she was a baby so she doesn't remember much of her hometown. She hasn't had the opportunity to go back and visit though since her family doesn't entirely have the money for that trip, especially for all of them to go as a family. But Arden really does want to go back and visit, possibly live there for a few years. However, even though she was raised in the states Arden is still as fluent in English as her older brother if not better (at least she thinks she's better in speaking Korean than her brother). Her parents, and her grandmother when she moved in with them years later, make sure to speak to her in Korean as much as possible so that she would not lose her native language.
OO2. X ▬ ♔ x ) x Upon her own request, Arden asked her parents to let her take tennis lessons. She was never the kind of kid that would stay at home as she always felt restless being confined when she could be doing something else. So she took tennis lessons at the local YMCA in Westchester three times a week starting when she was six. When she didn't have lessons with her instructor, she would still ask her parents to bring her to the Y so that she could keep practicing whatever she learned that week. By the time she started middle school, she was participating in tournaments and bringing home trophies like her brother brought home soccer trophies. It was during a championship tournament that someone from OCD noticed her and wanted to offer her a tennis scholarship. Coincidentally enough, this was around the same time her brother was noticed and given a soccer scholarship. Arden was quite happy to be able to transfer to OCD with her older brother.
OO3. X ▬ ♔ x ) x During her freshman year, she fell into the ultimate peer pressure. After one of their tournaments (which they won of course), the captain held a victory party for the team at her house. Since she was one of the very few scholarship students on the team she felt very out if place in the party and was even at the point of asking her brother to pick her up. However, before she could do so, the captain had made her feel welcome in her group of senior friends. The one thing that made it uncomfortable was that everyone in the group was smoking. After they had gotten Arden comfortable, one of the cute seniors told her that she should give it a shot. With all the seniors looking at her, Arden had no choice but to try it. Like for mostly everybody, she hated it at first. But as the same seniors kept pushing her to do it, she fell into peer pressure each time and soon she became addicted. She wasn't a hardcore addict that smoked through two or three packets a day. She knew when to smoke and when to not, especially with the family she had. But despite the fact that she knew when to control her urges, she still managed to smoke enough in that year to negatively effect her performance. During the championship tournament, she started to feel the effects of her smoking habit kick in by the middle of her match. Because her opponent was a challenging one, she had moved around the court so much that she was losing her breath quickly. By the time it reached the middle of her match, she was at the point of having an asthma attack. Luckily, she managed to last long enough to BARELY win the match which would have taken away her scholarship of she had lost. After that match, she knew that she had to kick the habit or she would lose her scholarship for sure.
OO4. X ▬ ♔ x ) x After the events of her freshman year, Arden's personality changed. The once sweet girl that was meet to please grew a form of backbone that no longer gave into peer pressure so easily. And because her smoking addiction had ultimately put her at risk of losing her scholarship, she had also developed a sort of grudge against the elite. At first her strong negative opinions about the elite students at her school remained solely in her head and in the confines of her home. But sometime in the middle of the school year she was introduced by coincidence to a YouTube vlogger named David So. Ironically enough, the first video she watched was his rant about spoiled people. The video spoke to her in so many levels and she eventually found her voice to express her disapproval of the unfair advantages of the elite. The first time she expressed such opinions, it was after tennis practice. Arden called the elite a bunch of spoiled rich kids who feed off of daddy's plastic money with no way of ever wanting to be dependent because they know they wouldn't be able to survive on their own with no sense of personal skills except for intense spending. This definitely passed off one of the teammates and soon resulted in a fight occurring between them. She didn't get suspended though because the captain made her parents pay the school to revoke it so that Arden could play in the championships. Arden was not happy with this and it fed her heavily opinionated fire to the point that she was not only opinionated but judgmental as well, especially those of the elite.
OO5. X ▬ ♔ x ) x It is Arden's goal to het herself as far away from New York as possible. It is for this reason that she works twice as hard in school. Her high GPA and her hard work in tennis has put her up for the position of salutatorian in her class, closely following behind Harper. She hopes that this would be enough to get her into her dream school, Stanford. If and when she gets in, Arden tells herself that she is never going back to New York no matter what her parents tell her. She wants to become a cardiac surgeon and then hopefully open up her own cafe like her father had.

RUMOR OO1 X ▬ ♔ x ) x first time arden expressed her opinion about the uselessness of the rich and their constant spending on things they don't need or to get what they want got her into a fight with one of the members of the elite that later got her suspended, only that suspension was revoked when the tennis captain of the time had her parents pay the school money to keep it off her record so that she could still play for the season (which arden was not happy about because it proved her point exactly).
