Welcome to the Phoenix Charity Auction!

The idea for this auction came from The Phoenix Charity Thread. A place where people who were hacked can ask for a little help.

I, Shanra the Dragon Bard and Kenny - the fire slayer, will be your hostesses for the auctions.

1- Rules

Main Rules:
Respect is essential.
Follow all Gaia ToS rules.
No Spamming, Flaming or Page Stretching, please.
No Begging.
Respect other participants and their posts/bids.
Advertising is only allowed in your Sig or with previous agreement by PMs, but it will have to work both ways.

Auction Rules:
Any Gaian is welcome to participate at this auction! lol
Chatting is allowed, following Gaia chatting rules of course.

About donations:

If you have items you would like to donate to the Auction for use in the games, please send them to kenny - the Fire Slayer.

If you would like to donate a Monthly Collectible/Cash Shop/Evolving Item/RIG item to the charity, to be auctioned off, please send you trade to Shanra the Dragon Bard.

Gold donations for the Phoenix Charity can be sent to Miss Phoebe Phoenix. (Please notify Shanra if you send a trade to the mule.)

2- Auctions

Each auction will occur exclusively. Which means only one auction will be running at a time, and one auction only starts after the previous one is expired (closed). The auctions will be organized by the hostesses. We are the Queens here, so we say what to do and what not to do! Don`t make us send you to the dungeon!

Each auction will have it's own duration, listed in the opening post and in topic 6 - Running Auction!. It could last for a day, a week or longer, so stay tuned! The item for the running auction will be displayed when the auction starts. You won't have to send money every time you bid! You just have to send money when you are announced as a winner. You will receive a PM from one of the hostesses notifying you that you have won the bid. You will have one week to send the gold to Shanra the Dragon Bard after which time, you will lose your claim to the item and it will go to the next highest bidder. If there is no other bidder, the item will be sold in the Marketplace.

Please, don't wait until the last minute to place a bid.

7 - Auction Games

During the weeks we have a live auction happening, there will be some fun and games going on in the thread. You do not have to be bidding on the current item in order to win a game, but it would be nice if you stuck around and supported our cause throughout the week.

FLOOD PAGE

Randomly, during the auction, I will announce a "Flood Page" event. The image below will be displayed, and the everyone who posts on the following page will receive 1,000 gold. Posts with bumps/emotes will not receive gold, so make sure you are posting something of worth on that page.

FOOD FIGHT

Periodically, depending on how many people are currently in the thread posting, I will announce a "Food Fight". You will see the image below displayed, with information on what sort of item to throw at each other, and what page the fight will end on. Items may not be duplicated, so be careful of what you throw. After the fight is over, I will tally the count and announce the winner. Prizes for the Food Fight will be random items, so don't be upset with what you get.
