INTRODUCTION

Angel Kimmi: Okay well hello everyone and welcome to our contest. I'd like to thank you all for taking the time to come here ^ ^
It means a lot. I also hope that a lot of you will decide to join our contest, though I would like to urge you to read through the posts
thoroughly, especially the profiles so that you dont get any of the details incorrect.

Likereal Okay, well now that you have scared off half our audience that were browsing the thread just with your first post.
Probably all the artists as well, with your seriousness and nice yet excessive commands lets continue already and get this over with.

Angel Kimmi: *Pouts at Likereal* Well I didn't mean to scare them off...I was just asking them to read the information.
*Gets back on track* anyway, this contest is primarily a couple contest for Likereal and Dominique our beloved Original Characters.
*Cough* Original Characters that are for the most part very oblivious or in denial to the fact that they like each other...

Likereal: I am not in denial! I just don't like Dominique that way...at all!! *Crosses arms and mutters about damn creators*
Its yours and Rje's perverted minds that make us do the things we do... *His mind wanders off into thoughts of Dominique*

Angel Kimmi: Aha, sure...its all us and has nothing to do with you at all *rolls eyes and mutters about denial*
Anyway despite Likereal and Dominique's general denial and obliviousness to their real feelings for each other, that doesn't mean that
you can't draw them in compromising positions/situations. Heck you can draw them however you feel inspired to draw them.

Rje you bastards!: True, compromising situations are always fun to portray on occasion, but we would like the majority
of the art works to try and stay in character at least for the most part. Compromising and interesting situations really do occur between
them on a regular basis thanks usually to Likereal's teasing.

Angel Kimmi: Yes, we'd also like art that fits into the minor couple "best" categories. After all if no one does I cant give out prizes,
I especially want some cute art of them as well and I have to confess that I absolutely love and adore chibi art.
The contest is primarily a couple contest, thus the reason for most of the contest funds being directed towards the couple categories
Since both Rje and myself have both pooled equal amounts into the contest.

Rje you bastards!: But, since we are aware that some people don't like doing couple art this is also a contest for individual OC art.
So people who prefer doing one person art can do just one of the two Original Characters. The prizes for single art aren't quite as high,
but we believe they are still worthwhile. Besides that it also gives us an excuse to get more art, which is always a good thing.

BASIC RULES

1. Read all rules and read all front page posts.

2. Take special note of important details about the OCs and their relationship

3. The Gaian TOS applies to this contest in all aspects. Including PG-13.

4. No using Artpad or any program similar since I cannot save the art onto my own computer with that program.

5. All art MUST be either - Coloured, screen-toned or pencil shaded.

6. All entries must be original pieces. Do not enter stolen, traced or copied artwork.

7. You must meet the deadlines of course. Otherwise your entry wont be counted.

8. You may enter as many times as you'd like!! It is encouraged!

9. Be respectful and courteous. No flaming, gloating, whining, guilt-tripping, or anything else.

10. No 1337 speak because I never understand it - please be literate

11. Any and all styles and media are accepted! From chibis to realism, traditional to CG

IMPORTANT RULES

1. There must be at least 50 over all entries and at least 30 different entrants before this contest will end.
If this is not met by the date given the contest will most likely be extended.

2. There must be at least 15 pictures of each OC and 15 couple pictures for the contest to end by the set date.
If the contest does end without these conditions being met, it is possible that the prizes will be altered accordingly.

3. There must be at least 10 pictures that meet the "Best" category before a prize will be given out for that category.
This is true for all 6 "Best" Categories.

4. Rules can be added or changed at any time

CONTEST PRIZES AND CATEGORIES

The contest is primarily a couple contest since the gold has been equally provided by both myself - Angel Kimmi and Rje you bastards!. So consequently the Grand prize and the "Best" Categories are going to be judged on couple art entries only. Though there are minor prizes and categories for individual art as well if people only want to do one person art, possibly more will be added depending on personal funds.

Sexual Orientation: Bi-sexual but still slightly in denial

Eyes: GOLD/AMBER
Hair: Long, straight midnight BLACK hair down to his waist with slight bangs
Skin: Lightly tanned – pale gold
Height: 6 foot tall
Build: Medium build, well toned muscles from fighting and exercise.

Personality: Likereal is a regular bad boy, charmer and smooth talker, which he uses a lot to get what he wants and at times to pick up women and on occasion men. He is a huge flirt, heart-breaker and he constantly gets himself in trouble but he doesn't care because he loves danger and taking risks. Also his manner and personality can change in a moment when the occasion calls for it, mostly so that he gets his own way. He loves flirting, drinking, flying, smoking, riding his motorbike and fighting with others - whether its with words, fists or sword because it makes him feel alive. He hates restrictions, following rules and people trying to tell him what to do, pretty much the only person who can get away with doing so is Salika or Dominique. At times he can be ice cold, cruel and uncaring towards those around him especially people he doesn't like, no longer needs or wants around. He also keeps his inner emotions and feelings to himself because he thinks showing them is a weakness.

Likes: Fighting, flying, riding his motorbike, flirting, smoking

Hates: Rules, restrictions, letting his emotions show too much

Normal Outfit: He wears a lot of dark, rich colours – black, red, brown, and gold, but it isn’t completely restricted to those colours. He likes wearing leather, jeans, torn shirts or t-shirts. Though occasionally dress pants and a silk shirt. He usually wears black leather pants or jeans, black boots and belt, long black leather trench coat, black sunglasses and also a sleeve-less crimson t-shirt. Slightly gothic/punk looking in some of his clothes. You can have free range on his outfit as long as you keep to the specific style and colours - dont make him look uncharacteristic.

Likereal's relationship with Dominique: In simple terms Dominique is Likereal's walking talking weakness. He is so shy and almost innocent despite what he's been through and reminds Likereal of a stray, forlorn and clingy puppy that you just cant say no to or resist. He feels protective of the other boy and wants to protect and look after him, keeping him from any further harm.

Dominique is one of the only people that Likereal trusts and confides in, as well as freely shows most emotions around. Likereal wont admit out loud that he thinks Dominique is cute or attractive, but he will admit it to himself at times...he gets caught up in his feelings or teasing and they get into intimate positions / situations at times but nothing too serious.

VERY Important Details (READ):

1. Now, I am still slightly undecided on his hair which gives you two choices as artists:

A) Draw his hair as it was originally, as shown in most of the reference pictures. Long with no bangs, just the occasional longish strand over his forehead or in his eyes

B) Draw him with his new hairstyle that I have been thinking about changing it to. Its not that huge of a change really, just giving him longish thin bangs because I dont think he looks quite right like he is. Basically it makes his hair pretty much identical to Yazoo off FF7 - Advent children. [X] [X]

2. He has midnight black feathered wings but he can hide them when needed. So you can draw him with or without them.
But people who are able to draw him with wings and do a good job will get browny points XD

3. He has a ruby and gold stud in his left ear

4. He has a black upside down ornate cross tattooed on his right upper arm (3 inches diameter)

DOMINIQUE'S PROFILE

Name: Dominque
Race: Incubus/Fallen Angel
Sex: Male
Age: 18 Demon Years (But he looks around 15-16)

Eyes: Very pale blue
Hair: Snow white with Silver highlights
Skin: Pale with a slightly rosy complexion
Height: 5 foot 9 inches
Build: Slim build

Personality: Shy and sweet, he was often the should that his sisters could cry on, always the one with a kind word when someone needed it. It wasn't that he was weak, or a push-over -- he was just a quiet, contemplative person and he often fell into silences that could last hours, simply daydreaming about this thing, or that. Coupled with his natural flightiness (he could forget his own head if it wasn't attached to his body) he was often regarded by his demonic family as 'slow' or 'dull-witted.' But that wasn't true, Dominique was as sharp as a tack, he was just -smart- and he would have been a brilliant tactician someday if he hadn't been captured and tortured until his will, body and mind was broken.

Now Dominique is broken, he is excessively shy and in a sense withdrawn. He is still very sweet and caring and loves flowers and other beautiful things, but he is ashamed of his body and at times gets upset with himself when he cant remember or understand something. Though time with Likereal has made him begin to smile and laugh again.

Loves: Sunlight, wide open spaces, nature, flowers, rivers, his sisters, Lord Azrael, chocolate sundaes with sprinkles, classical music, blankets right out of the dryer, the mortal plane, Lucifer (secretly)

Hates: Hell, War, pain, his other sister and brothers, demons, incubi & succubi, dry scorched earth, fire, the corpse pits, being touched by anyone other than his sisters or Lucifer or Likereal, when people can see his torso, being told he looks like his mother (he doesn’t remember her and it hurts)

Habits: Dominique has a lot of nervous tics and habits – he keeps his head bowed often, hiding his eyes with his hair and tends to stand with his arms wrapped around himself. He often can’t look people in the face when talking to them, and rarely stands in front of anything next to him, if he can he will stand behind something. He chews on his knuckles and lips when nervous, and if he’s having an episode, will start rocking back and forth, whether standing or sitting.

Normal Outfit: He likes to wear quite a few layers of clothes. Jeans, shirts, hoodies, sweaters, coats, scarves, hats, etc - unless it's too hot or Likereal makes him take them off. Then he still will wear jeans and a light long-sleeved shirt, usually with a cute picture on the front, or striped sleeves - he loves cute things on his shirts. He also loves Converse sneakers too, in bright colors. He kind of likes cute things, esp a strawberry motif, because he didn't see a lot of cute things when he was growing up.

Dominique's relationship with Likereal: After his twin's ultimate betrayal and Lucifer's death before getting captured once more it seemed like the end. He was all set to die when he woke up in another realm, thrown on some distant planet on a parallel world, the boy might have gone truely mad forever, if not for the kindness of one dark-haired Fallen (not -his- Fallen, Likereal was also from a different world) that reminded him so much of his mentor and secret love that he at first was -convinced- it was Lucifer in another body, and he'd escaped death. Time with Likereal disproved this - though a tiny part of Dominique's heart still holds out hope. However, he has grown to care and rely upon Likereal for his own self..the Fallen protects him, and he...in turn...well, he does nothing. And that fact secretly hurts him every time Likereal saves him from one danger or another, or brings him more out of his shell, helps him gain back that which was lost...he has -nothing- to offer the Fallen in return for his protection and...and friendship. He feels so useless and stupid, and scared and weak...he feels weak, most of all, and hopes someday he'll be strong enough to really show Likereal just how much he...well. All in due time.

VERY Important Details (READ):

1. You can take some liberties with his piercings, scars and brands (he's branded with small symbols, just a few on his front) as long as the necklace is there and at least one n****e piercing. Most of his piercings were given to mock him, as the necklace resembles that given to female virgins when they become women (although it isn't peirced into their -flesh-) in demonic lore. Ouch

While it's not necessary to show all of his brands/scars/tattoos, the tat on his cheek is essential (the best example of it is in the second picture.) I would also prefer the one on his lower right hip (that looks like a horned circle with a demon tail) to be shown if that area is visible, and at least one of the 'tally mark' scars - the four slashes with a diagonal slash through it. He has these all over his body, but if you wish to draw them, only one or two is needed.

2. Though Dominique doesn't like being shirtless because people can see his piercings and scars I would like some pictures that show them - so if you're up for the challenge you can draw him either half dressed with Likereal in the above stated clothes OR in the outfit or outfit similar to the one he was wearing when he and Likereal first met - Leather pants, no shoes, no shirt and bondage cuffs on his wrists.

3. He’s missing the tip of his right pinky finger (down to the first knuckle.)
