Hello! I thought it would be helpful to have a place for people to submit their queries in advance for the next Ask the Staff event. Feel free to post your questions here, questions answered will go in OP of the next event. For those of you who's questions did not get answered, you may post your question here.

Please be sure to follow the Rules and Guidelines posted below. These apply not only to this thread by all Ask the Staff events!

  1. One question per post.
    Please only ask one question in your post. Asking more than one question in your post may result in your post getting skipped for not following this.

  2. Repeat posts will be deleted.
    Please only post your question once. Repeated posting of the same question multiple times on the same day may result in the additional posts being deleted or in your loss of being able to post to the thread. This is to help keep the noise in the thread down and allow questions by others to be seen.

  3. Do not post support issues.
    Do not post issues regarding account bans, billing issues, warnings, and other support issues. Instead, please file a ticket about them at our Help Center. Questions about support issues may result in your post getting skipped.

  4. Not all questions will be answered.
    There are a few reasons why a question might not be answered. Here are some of the most common reasons why that happens:

    There are questions that are asked that have been asked and answered previously and the answer given there hasn't changed, therefore we don't answer that.

    There are questions that we simply do not have an answer to at the moment.

    There are questions asked in a format other than the one that we recommend you post in.

  5. The thread may get locked periodically.
    Should the thread posts grow faster than we can handle, we may temporarily lock the thread while we catch up. We will post if the lock is because of us catching up, or due to the event being over.

  6. Item suggestions and requests.
    Questions specifically asking for item requests will not be answered in ATS. They may not be responded to individually in the interest of getting to other questions. You may also post your item request and suggestions in the Item Request Thread in Site Feedback!

Will we ever, and ideally soon, get a fix to the notices? You know, that bug where they say "Your subscribed thread has new post(s)" and don't actually display the thread name and link which. (This occurs in subscribed threads, tipping, and about half of the times you get quoted where you end up getting quoted in (no subject) but still redirected correctly. I'm mostly worried about the ones where you don't get redirect links at all.)

Not really a question, but a gentle plead for more clown items. My birthday is coming up, and I am attempting to make an epic clowny avatar, but there aren't really any cute cone hats, or attractive arm mods that hold bunches of balloons.

Do you have an estimate for when Gaians will be able to register with or change to any valid recovery e-mail address? At the moment, only some few mainstream e-mail providers are allowed for Gaia accounts. Many other Gaians have mentioned this earlier, and you lose many new users because they can't register with their e-mail address.

User Image Bug Trap from Loyal's Bazaar.The User Image Blue Butterfly , a supposedly "common" rated bug, does not drop from this RIG. Can this be checked out, and can this be confirmed as the correct behaviour of this item or is it a "bug" that can be fixed ?

I have opened 2000 bug traps myself this week and received no blue butterfly bugs. Another user encountered this in December 2018, when she opened 10000 bug traps and received zero blue butterfly bugs, she made a thread here. She also documented her results in two journal entries, that she has given me permission to reference, the result of her first batch opening in December 2018 and a second batch that she opened in February 2019 , I thought it best to list these references, since she had opened far more bug traps than I did, with the same result, no blue butterfly.

Do any of the RIGs dropped in Mismal Lake with tickets previously in them as actual pulls still have them? Or can we not get tickets from these RIGs now

While trying to buy the November Pledge Items, I received an error when I used my debit card. I filled out the needed areas, hit submit and it stated, there was an error please go to the main page and try again. Is this an ongoing issue for this months items and how would I receive them if it won't process my request?

I know that end of event rewards tend to take a bit to be doled out, but it would be nice if the topic was addressed to have an official word to direct antsy people to that it has not been forgotten.
