HBC 2018 Planning

Helllooooo everyone! I finally managed to pull this together! We are planning a Valentine's Day event!

A little Background....

February 2014, the GCD caught wind that Gaia was not planning to host a Valentine's Day event, so the GCD (being the most wonderful forum in all of Gaia) got together and hosted our own AMAZING event. You can check out the original thread here. It basically came together within like two weeks notice, and it was wonderful! We went on to host a few other events!

This thread is to help organize and share events for our HBC 2018 V-Day event!

Approximate date for our event is Feb 11-24.

One of the best aspects of our HBC events is that they are brought together by a number of individuals (referred to as hosts) who take charge over a portion of the event to make it happen! We have a number of volunteers who act as hosts to help organize the event.

If you are interested in hosting something, please let me know! I only allow one job per person, because if you take on too much it ends up being a headache!

HOSTS

Head Butler/Maid (Volunteer to host cafe- Involves recruitment and supervision of butlers, maids and baristas, and you get to post the menu in the cafe. This position is a lot of work, because you need to update volunteers and keep an eye on everyone working in the cafe! It's a fun position, but it can be time consuming.)
Host:Meushi
Art Freebies Coordinator (You would be in charge of recruiting artists and coming up with general guide lines for requesting or giving art freebies in the event thread.)
Host:Llarian
HBC After Dark Coordinator/Host(HBC has a bit of a history with getting nekked and partying down during the late hours. I think we could probably turn this into something better than ever, but I am not sure what it would involve, so you would need to be creative!)
Host:Freaque of Nature

CONTEST HOSTS
(Up to ten slots are available. Please give me an idea of the type of contest you plan to host. You will be in charge of judging, interaction with contestants, and giving out prizes for your contest.)

dating sim theme was what I suggested last time I think? it could be cute, but usually someone else does graphics so idk.

I won't be volunteering as a maid this time around, but I'll see how else I can help?

I vote for dating sim also.

Guest gets digitally transferred into their Otome/Dating Sim game calls for hilarious trope filled situations.

Totally dressing up as a Bruiser with a Soft Center trope character....whose also a daddy lol
