I don't think so. Or maybe there is some truth in the analysis. Either way I think you shouldn't label yourself because of it. Just an opinion, hope you don't take it seriously.

I don't think it is simply because a person's handwriting changes. Does that mean the person changed?

All I know is I watched a show once and the detective said hooked g and y bottoms were typical of a serial killer or something else like a sociopath.

Sometimes I hook my long end consonants - because I'm trying not to curl the ends like I always do.

It's ******** nonsense.
There is no scientific basis for it.

My handwriting changes with how fast I'm writing and how focused I am that's about how useful I think it is. I think can be useful for identification but even with that you need more evidence.

Handwriting can drastically change based on environmental conditions, how a person was taught to write, and whether or not they're in a hurry. My handwriting, for example, is very odd. I'm right handed, but I learned how to write by watching my left handed Dad. I ended up combining lefty and righty writing. Then I took calligraphy, and combined some of that into my writing style, too.

If I were to analyze myself based on my writing, I'd probably be... eclectic, I guess.

Basically it's the idea that looking at the way a persons handwriting can tell things about their personality by how the letters slant, how widely they are spaced, the size of them, how big or small the letters are, where the margins are placed, the size or the upper, lower, and middle zones, ect.

haha i figured that. I meant what are each of those things supposed to mean? thats an interesting idea but im not sure it would be that reliable.
My handwriting is terrible so I hope not. sad

The only thing I've heard in this regard that makes any vestige of sense is the idea that the size of someone's handwriting reflects dominant and submissive impulses. The dominant subject would be more comfortable taking up more space on the paper, just as he would in real life by breathing more deeply (thus expanding the chest) and adopting more wide, sprawled body language. I guess some people call this "self-esteem."

When handwriting leans to left it means more withdrawn, a little emotionally repressed, more focused on the past, maybe because of something bad that's happened (The left side of the paper usually represents the past because we write left to right). When it leans to the right it means that person is ruled by emotions more then logic. If it has no slant and is straight up and down that means they sort of control their emotions and use logic to make most of their decisions. When handwriting leans very left and very right, that isn't good because you don't want extremes. (you would think, wouldn't being emotional be better? not if it is very right, these people can get easily carried away by emotions)

For the zones, upper zones have to deal with intelligence. Big upper zones can mean someone is very intelligent, but it can also mean overcompensation for lack of intelligence. Large middle zones are a childlike thing, that usually means self centered. Lower zones have to do with sexuality, so that's generally what any strange things there would mean.

For spacing, lots of space in between words can mean a desire to be alone, the distance between words is like distancing yourself from other people. If letters are close together and often overlap that person wants to be close, really close and can invade boundaries doing so.

This is a very very very basic explanation of just a few things in handwriting. There's a million different things to look at, and it would be really hard for me to explain them all because a. there's a million and b. I am in no way an expert at this, I just happened to get a super interesting book about it and thought it was really cool.

See even this tends to not hold water when you get into different sorts of pens. When I use a pen with a fine nib, I write small. Why? Because the size of the point is so small that I can get more text in a small space. However, I also own pens with very broad nibs. These I use for large writing. Why? Because the details of the letters breaks down when the thickness of the line covers its distinguishing features.

Mind you, there is something the be said for the type of person who buys a fine versus broad nib, but even that can be apocryphal when you include Asian languages (i.e., Chinese) which require a fine nib, because of the way the characters are shaped.

In other words, the whole thing is bunk.

Profitable Prophet

It was certainly something to theorize at a point in time.

But no. Far from a proper analysis.
