Ignoring for the moment the fact that your answers were essentially, "because some people are willing to buy it" / "We make more money that way" / "Other businesses do it" there is the matter that your questions didn't really even address the major concerns of the users.
You'd think they might, but the phrasing allowed you to complete skirt the actual issues while still technically "answering" the questions.
The questions we actually wanted answered:
1. Why does Flynn's Booty keep getting released?
1.Why does Flynn's Booty keep getting released despite the negative impact it has on the community?
That's right, believe it or not people don't hate Flynn's just because they think no one likes it. Whether or not people like the item seems beside the point actually. I'm quite certain people liked Dolphin Mania on BG and I know that people liked getting tons of gold on zOmg.
However, in the past Gaia did the right thing and didn't allow this "like" of something to completely outweigh what was best for the community. What has changed, and why have you repeatedly failed to address our actual concerns here?
2. Why do you keep re-releasing items and re-coloring them instead of putting out new items like you did previously with bundles?
2. Why has there been a dramatic decrease in item output (both quantity and quality) but a dramatic increase in price?
Look, people like getting several things at once, but the real issue is not that people want things bundled. They want a good value. Your prices do not reflect the actual quality of the items being sold, and overall we've seen a decrease in both new items being put out and general site improvement.
3. Why was ATA closed?
3. Why did you choose to close down AtA at a time when users were desperate for answers and already beginning to grow concerned about the current direction of Gaia? Why could you not wait until you had a working replacement ready before shutting down?
AtA had it's problems, no doubt. However, it was a direct line of communication where users could count on having their voices heard. By taking that away (especially during such trying times) you've really made it appear as if you're giving up on actually addressing our concerns all together.
Your replacement doesn't even have any sort of interactive element to it, so it's doesn't do anything to dispel the concerns that Gaia is unconcerned with our feedback.
4. Why does it seem like you are not listening to our feedback?
4. Why do you not only fail to respond to the user feedback, but on top of that continue to increase the instances of doing things that go directly against the majority of the feedback given?
If you're really listening then why do all the responses users get skirt by the actual issues? If you're actually listening then why do you continue to do the things that upset users without offering any real explanations or apologies?
5. Why can't I turn off the various pop-ups or banners that display sales? I am never going to buy Gaia Cash.
5. Why do you need 5 different ways to advertise the same thing, and why do you seem to be completely unconcerned with the negative impact it has on user experience?
This is harming the user experience, just like Flynn's it doesn't matter if "some people like it" although you'll be hard pressed to find someone saying that they love pop-ups.
The issue here is not your advertisements, it's the non-stop, all over the place, can't even get away from them for a second kind of advertising that's driving people insane. Pick a way to advertise, and stick to it, don't invade every feature possible just to provide repeat information.
6. Why did you "ruin" the battle system with all the cash incentives? It was perfectly fine before that.
6. Why did you choose to prioritize the right of GC buyers to "break the game" for their own amusement over the general enjoyment and balance for the entire community?
This wasn't just providing people with something they wanted, it was giving GC buyers a ridiculous offer at the expense of others.
