Original OP: I think it would be very cool if we get an item inspired in Valkyries, for the ones that don´t know what they are, here is quick description by Wikipedia

In Norse mythology, a valkyrie (from Old Norse valkyrja, meaning "chooser of the slain"[1]) is one of a host of female figures who decide among those who die in battle. After their death, the valkyries bring their chosen warriors to the afterlife hall of the slain, Valhalla, ruled over by the god Odin. In Valhalla the deceased warriors become einherjar. There, when the einherjar are not preparing for the events of Ragnarök, the valkyries bear them mead. Valkyries also appear as lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as the daughters of royalty, sometimes accompanied by ravens, and sometimes connected to swans.

Basically, im asking for a new set of clothe inspired in Valkyries, this is a new armor with wings pattern, armors with wings etc, good theme that can be used with the Angelic/Paladin theme, i think it would made a very nice item/update or even a new EI =D
let me list the poses that can be made out of this, the colors can be gold or silver, or even better, both xD

as for the boys, i don´t see the problem, they could wear the armor and the weapons, and the armored corset could be changed for a chestplate with abs, it could be good, or like others said, it could be another item, to have a female and male counterpart =D

Armor:
cape (please, shoulders on/off option)
gloves
long boots
armored corset
tiara (very important, with wings, please)
underdress (to being covered by the armor, but still being pretty without it, a silky long dress would be good too =D)

Weapons:
sword
spear
shield
daguer

Magic/another related poses:
one pose in the one we can see some clouds and some Valkyrie´s silhouette
a new hairstyle with braids / plaits


Note: this thread its to discuss Valkyries related items, not to discuss the way those items are going to be made, either gold shop update, MCs, EIs or RIG items, its gaia´s developer decision, please do NOT talk about this here, go to another thread if you want to discuss this.

Norse Mythology EIIIIII!


Aside from Valkyrie armor they could have some awesome items. Like Odin's spear Gungnir, Sif's Golden hair (Wig of some type, maybe), Ulfsark, like someone mentioned before, Heimdall's horn and maybe some sort of rainbow item to symbolize Bifrost, Hel's skin (half dead half alive skin), more beard items, rune stones and plenty of companions for those who like that sort of thing (Wolves, crows, serpents, 6-legged horse >> )

Not to mention the many armor and fur clothes we could have.

ABSOLUTELY.

Mythology is a big hit on the site, looking at the number of mythological creatures that are being used via cosplay and whatnot. And Valkyries are a personal favorite. I can't see how including them would be a bad thing at all.

Einherjar's Mail (Einherjar were the souls of the warriors the Valkyries were sent to retrieve) or Bear Sark (Literally "bear shirt", the item from which the divinely inspired berserkers got their name) would probably be best.

Odin is usually not depicted in armor of any sort. Just a grey hooded cloak and spear. (edit: well, except outside of fantasy and anime art)


But I'm all over a nice, Viking themed set.

Hopefully with the cape there could be an off the shoulder option or one that latches underneath the hair or on the armor, beacause I could think of some cool looks with an off the shoulder cape.
