... Or really, any vibrant colour, but that doesn't quite have the same nice, vaguely ominous ring to it, does it? emotion_awesome

I know, I know, everyone's sick of recolours and cash shop items in general and whatnot... But hey, a girl can dream, right?

I've always liked the colour red, but ever since Rosamund's Rage came out, I've been especially in love with that red/black/gold colour scheme~
We've been getting quite a lot of it, I know, but there's a lot of older items that I'd like to be revisited as well, which is why I made this thread; more red please, Gaia, especially combined with black and/or gold!

Now, I bet you're probably thinking something like "But Nanzzy, what about those other colours, shouldn't they get some love too?" (Wait what, other colours exist?)
Don't fret, because I agree! It's gotten a little better lately, but dull colours still reign supreme when we could be having so much nice, vivid colours instead; one can never have enough of those~

tl;dr: More bright, lively colours, especially red!

I'm one of those crazy people who actually really enjoys recolouring, so below is a list of mock-ups of items that I'd really like to see recoloured. (Yeah, I know, it's kind of a lot, and that's not even all xD)
As these are only suggestions, the artists are of course free to recolour the items any way they want; these mock-ups simply reflect how I personally would like to see the poses recoloured~ heart

Anything below the featured items will be spoiler-tagged per section to avoid excessive page stretching.

If you have an idea for a recolour but can't make a mock-up of it for whatever reason, feel free to tell me and I'll see if I can do one for you!
(Keep in mind that I'm requesting vibrant colours here, so no dull browns, denim blues or other such colours; pastels are okay though as long as they are saturated~ As for off-white/off-black... You know they're gonna recolour it in those colours anyway. Which is to say I suck at those and I'm not particularly fond of the combo either, so no.)

A note regarding the (R)EI recolours:
Gaia artists, if you decide to take inspiration from the mock-ups below, then please, do the entire item.
Each time you release one of those half-recoloured EI RIGs, you invariably leave out some of the poses I wanted most in said colours; and each time, a little piece of me dies on the inside crying
The reason I made mock-ups of the EIs below is because I really want to see it happen, and I want to see all of the poses happen.
Please, for the sanity of those like me who like more than a few poses from any given EI, don't do those half-assed recolours, that just ends in disappointment. I don't care if it takes longer, I don't care if you have to work around missing files on older items, I don't care if I have to do it myself, but damnit, don't go breaking my heart again emo

Remember what I said up there about half-recolours? There's a reason I took the effort to make mock-ups with all the poses... ninja

Crimson Daughter of Snows
So I wasn't pleased at all with that half-recolour that came out recently (which, by the way, is nigh-unsearchable in the MP because it lacks the name in the tags and one of the tags that is there has been misspelled); that lovely wintergreen really should've been applied to the other poses too!
But Daughter of Snows is too beautiful not to warrant more recolours, so for Christmas, a nice red/black/gold version~ Seriously, tell me you don't want that castle! emotion_kirakira
(Also, partly transparent skin overlays are the bane of my existence.)

I'm still mystified by the complete lack of recolours for Mystery of the Stolen Sapphires. Seriously, those dresses! The guys' outfits! The hair, the jewels, everything about it is just so wonderful!

It's funny how different colours can give this item a completely different feel; the lavish red/wood gives it more of a classic Gothic/Victorian feel while the monochrome is more evocative of classic Film Noir and other such movies from the first half of the 20th century whee

"But Nanzzy, the original was red/white too!" Yeah, but it was a dark red and dirty white that hardly matched anything, so here's a suggestion for something closer to actual Santa colours; however, it would certainly be a good item to get recoloured in several other shades too, like emerald green, dark blue, brown, black, plenty of options~

I've been wanting a red/gold recolour of the Skate Date ever since it came out, and while I was making the mock-up, I realized how perfect that sweater would be as a Christmas sweater!
Brown hair because natural ponytail needs natural colours.

Something here for both genders; we still don't have any red recolours of any of the seasonal Bride/Groom items and the winter ones make for lovely Christmas clothing~

Crane Empress would look amazing if it were recoloured in Kaguya's colours, and would breathe some new life into that gorgeous junihitoe from the original heart

It's surprising that this one's never been recoloured, considering how absolutely adorable it is~

I think we all know this one... The red is close, but not quite canon colours, especially for her hair; it'd be nice to have it in her actual colours xd

I couldn't tell if it was gold or cream myself haha, regardless though, I love it with that red and green! All together it gives off a very warm feeling.
I feel like any of those would go great with this hat:
