we non cash buyers are treated differently from the other half.
we arent treated equally and we are set back b.c. the only way we can get items is using gold and by inflating everything, we yet again get a disadvantage.
the only successful people on gaia atm and UBER rich are the people who buy gaia cash. How is that not similar to those white people who had advantage over the other minorities?
The whites being rich and all, the minorities being poor and looked down upon.

i want to give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume you were thinking of the classist elements of institutionalized racism (because these oppressions do intersect), but PLEASE consider how deeply insensitive that comparison really is to people who are affected by racism

and a business favoring its higher paying customers isnt even in the same orbit as slavery

but even if i did count myself among you, i would still point out this fallacy, as these extreme comparisons are easy grabs for an emotional reaction and discredit your movement, as well as trivializing the real world struggle against racism. you can argue your case without leveraging other oppressions as your talking points

It's offensive to those of us who still suffer from the effects of racism. Many people are blocked from advancing because certain people refuse to work with or want to be seen with someone who is a different color than they are. And for slavery? This is still done. People are sold and forced to do things they do not want to do. They're treated like living pieces of meat, treated like trash, and are disposable to those who "bought" them. So, yes, what you said was very offensive and inconsiderate.
