I am pleased to see some changes for the better. I still think I'd like to see more changes but it is a start.

I like that effort, but I'm not quite pleased. It's probably because they saw a massive drop in user participation once people saw that it was taking Gaia CASH to play. emotion_facepalm

So as far I'm concerned, it just a business move.
Still, though- a step in a new direction. :l

How would adding four levels of gold-entry only into the game be a business move?

Also, SmashBlocks most definitely was not seeing any drop in players because of that since it was always a GC-to-play game, and it's not even a lot of GC to play it so people who only do offers could've been doing it too.

That game was pumping 1 billion into the system PER HOUR without taking a single coin out, so adding these four levels of gold entry and smaller rewards from the game all around should be seen as a huge improvement.

I bet the payout for GC-entered tournaments is higher than gold-entered ones.

I'm happy to see the changes with Smashblox. Is it still a 30 minute tournament? I personally think it should be an hour, but whatever. At least now it's a gold sink besides a GC only sink. AND even though I am happy with the changes, I'm still pissed it took them this long. I mean what was their excuse? They didn't know how to code it so the payout was longer? Or they just wanted to milk it as long as they could? I dunno. But at least it's fixed to say the least.
