I could see it working in the GCD,Art Freebies subforum,Chatterbox,Charities forum(a charity would be a good way to get attention and gain support),Possibly the roleplaying forums if they were centered around gaia's world etc.
Maybe a good idea would be to host an event with everyone in towns dressed as peasants holding picket signs?

I'd help with this. As long as we made sure that our threads stayed on topic, they wouldn't get moved. Like have a side note about the situation of Gaia at the bottom of the post. Idk if that's good enough though. They've been doing a lot of forum policing lately.

I got banned for trolling. Basically I had done a bunch of trolling on a mule account months and months ago and then recently called someone a white knight in the Site Feedback forum and with that one incident they decided that they'd bring up my entire past of trolling and ban me.
I mean I guess I deserved it. I'm not gonna try to say I was one of those bans you hear about where it was just the mods being overly mean or anything.

Still sucks though. But I still want to be part of the movement! 3nodding

Yea, I understand that. We could tailor our main point to fit whatever forum it needs to be in. Just throwing out thoughts. If we could get a good thread going in CB, some bump contest or something. Cause CB is always moving so fast, but also has a very large audience.
I like the idea of an event in towns or z! Just to spread awareness. That's what we lack the most.. sweatdrop

and i also have a suggestion.

for people who CANT use credit cards to make online GC purchases:GAIA!! make sure gaia cash cards are being sold in every place you say they are being sold. in every state, county, and city!

i have been to three walmarts, two game stops, a target, and a best buy in my local area and NONE OF THEM are selling gaia cash cards any more.

so as a result i am not purchasing GC anymore even if i do find a random place that does still sell them. at least until this is fixed.



i did read on a post that it could have something to do with the store itself.. but this is ridiculous.. i dont think it is the store that is refusing to hold the cashcards. i think it is just the fact that gaia isnt supplying them to the area.

Oh yes, GCD, SF, CB would be simple to have constant threads in. One may fit in with the charity forums as well. And as for the other forums, contact thread owners? Such as the Mini Shops forum they could an image/logo linking us all together? Or hold contests, like art contests, or maybe some kind of mini event in z! and towns, and use a thread in those forums to set up, said event? I dunno, just chucking out ideas.. sweatdrop

I actually spend the whole time I'm in Gaia there and if we lose the site, we will be forced to run to other sites and find new partners. It might work in that way.

Those are excellent ideas and we could do all of them!

I do think the prices are getting out of hand.

It's becoming annoying like candy crush. Every time I visit my Gaia I get a pop up ad on-site asking me to buy a ridiculously overpriced item.


Now I DO buy GC for site support. But I never exceed $5.

It's twisted honestly. They're geared towards teenagers and young adults yet what persons in that age category had $500 to blow on pixels.

❤ Actually, don't mean to burst your bubble but it is up to those corporations as to where they choose to distribute their items. I supply items to both Walmart and Target, and while they do tell us it's going to be a nation wide item, it usually ends up with some stores carrying the items and some stores not.
