May I say that I find it questionable that Phing Phang is camouflaged as Gold Shop? What shall I think of this? It almost looks like Gaia is trying to trick users into spending Cash.

Seriously, give us broke Gaians a break and make most fo the aquarium things for gold. there is a reason we earn gold in gaia it isn't to see numbers on the top of my page...

Cash shop items that cost less than 10 cash going for 50k+ in the marketplace, is just ridiculous specially since they don't evolve or anything.

The prices better deflate with time.

Just making some of the aquarium items buyable with gold rather than cash will pacify most of the people upset about this. Even the dying fish - if you can buy some with gold it won't be a problem, and if there are some nicer, cooler fish you can buy with gold that's cool too. Just give those of us who can't/won't spend real money on pixels options for enjoying the Aquarium too.

Yes, you can buy things in the Marketplace, and Daily Chance now has a chance of rewarding aquarium items. That doesn't make up for the fact that if there's something we want we either have to spend a ton of gold buying from someone who can afford to buy Gaia items with money, or we have to cross our fingers and hope we get something nice from DC (I got one crappy present decoration today). Is it fair that the site seems like it's trying to cater to people who are well-off, or younger people who still get an allowance and such? I have to pay bills, pay rent, pay off student loans, I have to eat. I can't afford to buy fake fish on some site. I don't even have real fish.

Also, I was really looking forward to the aquariums because it sounded like a cute, fun little thing. I was VERY disappointed when I went to buy new items to realize that they were ALL cash only.

I'm infuriated that you have to buy it ith cash! Yes they need profit blaaah...but they make so god damned much anyway!! I mean look how many people buy the cash shop items already.

I can see the future of gaia...and it will be all new and good things bought with 'cash' and then it will no longer be a free site, in some respects.

Also if you buy fish with cash and they die....thats like saying "Money plz nao kthnxbai" because your thing dies....but you BOUGHT it.....

OH MY GOD IT WOULD BE SO AWESOME TO SEE WATERMEATS SWIMMING AROUND IN TANKS. XDDD

if we are eventually given the ability to trade our fishing fish for identical tank fish, i would hope those fish live forever. i've held on to a chargin' chino that i got the second week fishing was out, and while i'd love to be able to show it off, i'm not going to put it in my tank just to watch it die.

I agree, that was a really poor idea making the fish and the extra items only available in a gaia cash store and not in the gold shops too. They could easily do both if they wanted to! I personally don't feel like wasting real money on something that will eventually "die" and then need to keep buying more of each time to replace it. Shameless cash grab is what that fish tank is.
