If only Kaia would post here and update his current status on Journals, it would make a lot of people happy.

What are your thoughts Kaia? We'd like to know what you're planning to do with journals and if we can have some input in the development.

Hell yes! I'd be able to read them while not logged onto Gaia. However, the other day I was able to view my journal without even being logged into the site. X__X I saw my profile and journal. x__X

I don't know if this has been mentioned or domething, but I think that one of the reasons that the Journals has been ignored is because it's not nearly as popular a feature. I hypothesize (with lzero evidence) that this is correlared to how little it has been updated and how little publicity it receives. Therefore, I think that is there was an update which allowed it to be so easilly and creatively used, you'd likely see journals in use much more.

And beyond it being good to get maximum use out of the features you worked so hard on, it would be nice for people to have another customizable aspect to Gaia.

Though I suppose that is one of the reasons. Another can be that KAIA IS LAZY scream or...um....journals were put on hold for more "serious" projects.

Heck, the friendslist wasn't updated for 2 years as well. That sure is popular.

Actually, journals is well publicized with the Journal Spotlight of the Month.

I just think that since there are many competing journals and blogs out there, they haven't come to a unanimous decision on how to develop it. Journals is probably one of the top 10 features most used on this site. I just hope they do work on it a bit more and spiffy it a notch or two or ten would be a nice round number.

I'm going on a wild mother goose golden egg chase here but I suspect that when the BS is launched, journals might have an active role in it so they might relaunch journals when that time comes. Just speculation, nothing concrete to sink an enemy with.
