How to White-List Ads on Gaia

What bothers me most isn't that Gaia has ads to earn revenue, it's that Gaia seems to have an unquenchable greed for money, from it's users, it's advertisers, everyone. But Gaia REFUSES to allow ANYONE, especially it's loyal user base, to MAKE the money it so wants for itself, with anything to do with the site.

Maybe if Gaia let it's users MAKE money from the site, those users would pour that money back into the site.

I rarely post on anything, but just seeing the topic of this forum made me lose it. Whitelist your ads? I have adblock for a reason, I don't want to see your crappy adds and let viruses into my computer. Your entire site has already been tailor made to suck money from us or just render itself virtually useless to us. I come back and gold generators have put gold prices in the billions, ZOMG! is gone and all reasonable ways to make gold without shelling out to you are pretty much worth nothing now. I will not shed one single tear if you lose millions on people not watching your ads. You're already absurdly well off, not to mention greedy as all hell. I truly hope the days when you're scrambling to save your asses comes soon...

Gaia doesn't listen to what it's users say, or at least if it does, it only seems to listen to its most blindly devoted fans about things like new items and what other colors an item should be offered in.

As evidenced by the many replies in this thread, and the many issues that were raised about gold generators and the runaway inflation, Gaia doesn't listen to it's critics. It is so deaf to even the most helpful and well intentioned constructive criticism that it doesn't even reply when such serious issues are raised. It just ignores them and hopes the issues go away and nobody important notices.

As far as I have seen, Gaia consists of corrupt individuals who abuse the platform their customers have paid for, and they will just continue to do so as long as the money keeps flowing.

Things being what they are, Gaia is unlikely to change and will just exist until the majority of users get mad enough to either stop giving money, or leave the site entirely.

The "staff" that trolls users on the forums is often just children and immature adults who have been given elevated status and simply abuse it. That moderators abuse their power and there is nothing to be done about it, as other mods simply turn a blind eye lest they lose their position for not supporting the group mentality, is just a symptom of the larger problem.

There is simply no accountability on the site, whether it's outright abuse by moderators, or by the operators.

The only thing users can really do is not buy anything and not pay any money, and hope that forces Gaia to change things if it wants to continue to exist, since Gaia is sure to quash any explicit movements for change before they gain traction.

Either that or maybe a talented group of people will make a site that's even better than Gaia, with the features the users want, and then Gaia will have to copy them just to try and stay relevant.

And, I couldn't agree more; there really IS no accountability on this site whatsoever.

There's a good reason I refuse to spend my hard-earned money on Gcash. The site's customer service is no exception.
