So, now we're into the following week. Was there any word of this on Ask the Admin? If they're still clamming up I feel like it's important that we don't succumb to apathy and let this drop. We need to keep up the pressure so that they know that this is still an issue and it is not going to go away just because (it seems like) they're pretending it doesn't exist.

It'd be nice if we could keep the SF half full of threads like this one until something gets done, but I don't think most of the people who posted last week have the energy to keep this kind of heat on.

I'd like to keep bumping this, for what its worth.
Alchemy could have been great and it disappoints me to see what they did with it...

Plus, the supposed "rush" inflation of the basic ingredients isn't going away how everyone initially said it would. That's a problem- the items are either being AIed (a possibility) long term or they are, as I mentioned, becoming scarce due to the fact that using them destroys them and there is a finite amount in existence.

I'll try to help too if I notice it's off the first page. I'd really like to be able to use this feature. Especially if I can eventually get to the point where I could make things that would otherwise be completely out of reach at this point like Lucky or Pale Marionette.

I think the items are being AI'd. Right now the ingredients needed for alchemy are so scarce, I doubt anyone would even be able to use it. I think people are still in hope that they'll release these ingredients soon, so that the limited items they bought up (like the green broom and Sherbet) will go up in demand even more.

I think the items are being AI'd. Right now the ingredients needed for alchemy are so scarce, I doubt anyone would even be able to use it. AI'd or not its undeniable that the very nature of the feature will create some real inflation due to the fact that it effectively 'sinks' rare items.

Agreed. When Gaia releases items for a limited time, and then releases a feature that encourages the destruction of these items... That's just stupid. Honestly, I'd rather have Gaia make recipes that require me to buy 3 Louie's Coats, about 50k each, than 3 Levirei, about 20k each. With Louie's Coats, the initial price may be more expensive but they're GS items. I may pay more but I never have to worry about the supply running low, no matter how many we buy and destroy for Alchemy purposes. But with Levirei, there's a limited supply. It came out as a fairly common item in one RIG. Yeah, it may show up in future RIGs, but it won't be very common in those RIGs and it won't be dropped NEARLY enough to keep up with the demand caused by using them for alchemy.

I mean once the double rainbow is completely gone, what do they expect us to use then?

Half the items now are never going to be crafted because of how limited some items are or how ridiculous the ingredients are. So then what's the point? It's as if this was released just to rub all the new items in our face that we'll never have.

Don't worry! Once users run out of double rainbows, they'll be able to craft more using only 300 Big Book of Myths' per double rainbow! Too bad there are only 12 on the market blaugh

Don't worry! Once users run out of double rainbows, they'll be able to craft more using only 300 Big Book of Myths' per double rainbow! Too bad there are only 12 on the market blaugh

I'm afraid to even see what other items are going to require especially backwings. For some reason I feel like it's gonna cost a halo or the mini wings, I really think that.

Plus what point is there in all that "hard" effort they put into this feature if no one can us it?
No you can't always be right the first time, but if you put even a little thought into you'd see how flawed it is right now.

I saw that and nearly punched through my monitor. That enraged me so much more, and the fact that they had the ******** nerve to post in a "praising" thread when there are many complaint threads and complaints in the feedback thread and post the "WAH! We are victims and you are villains!" bullshit was really uncalled for.

I say screw it to the not supporting them financially. We should just not support them, period, by refusing to log on for a certain amount of time, if not ever again. If they lose the numbers, they lose sponsorship opportunities, and therefore, lose a lot more money than us holding back our wallets.
