What pisses me off is that you have people questing CS items (whether from RIGs or bundles) who now have to work twice as hard to reach their goal IF they even can considering these items will be destroyed and become extinct so the possibility of NEVER owning even a moderately priced item (such as the Night Jewels) becomes real. THAT IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT! More than that you have rares on the list to go extinct because they are an ingredient.
GAIA ARE YOU COMPLETELY STUPID? People compete like mad now to get the rares and you want to make it even harder? Are you TRYING to make the community hate you? People are willing to pay for these items and you go out of your way to try and destroy them so only the elitest of the elite can get their hands on them? No one is going to want to quest for things they can't attain! No one is going to buy when it becomes pointless because your goal rests on something forced to be so rare that you have a better chance of getting hit by lightning on the same day you win the lottery.
KNOCK IT OFF WITH YOUR CRAP GIMMICKS!
This had potential to be really good and even a cash generator (through the DIRECT TO CS SALE OF INGREDIENTS). The way you have it put together totally ******** your middle class questers WHO ARE THE MAJORITY OF YOUR SITE AND AMONG YOUR MAIN SUPPORT!
Obviously if no one has that kind of gold and isn't willing to spend that type of gold, the prices will come down. Everyone is in the hype of a new feature being used, that is all. The items that it takes to alchemy(?) with were indeed numerous and low priced until this feature came out. They were basically "failure" type items, items that accumulate because of the high failure ratio of Chance Items. If the Alchemy feature stated the requirement of trash, fish, bugs, flowers, or inks. Then the prices of those would be raised as well, and that did happen when new items for their respective features were released and at some point, updated. The same happened when the recipe section for Back Alley Bargains was released, people got caught up in the hype of the feature and the prices raised on zOMG loot.
I am hoping that trash, fish, bugs, flowers and inks are indeed a part of this at some point. Placing all the blame and anger on Gaia staff instead of greedy Gaians is mis-aimed. And not every alchemy item requires a Chance Item.
