I just find it interesting.

Usually certain tickets go for a ton of gold, but over 100Trill just seems... Excessive.

I hope the transaction is reversed, this is ridiculous.

I really want to see an actual internal investigation done on everyone involved.
But if Gaia doesn't have anyone that does QA on their posts to the site.. do you really think they have an actual HR department? I don't think so. Sad, but true..

Also, the person who originally owned the Double Rainbow ticket that now has the mass gold amount of 133T has acted very suspicious as well. Their only replies were "haha too funny" or the ROFL emote. sweatdrop Are they being told to keep quiet? Why does only one account get 133T? How is that even fair for the rest of the community that is now dealing with mass inflation?

Which then leads me to believe that this whole situation was set up in their favor.. So a ban towards that account would honestly become the best situation for all of Gaia. A lot of items have already inflated dramatically since this ticket has been purchase. Angelic Halo went from a stable 1.5T into 4T in less than a week? It scares me to think what else is going to happen if this is just the start..

The drama overflows!

But man, this is a nice plot anyways. But the question is: Is LicorSkein the user/artist BlueAlaris?

That's the complete point. I think we need him/her to talk.

I really pray we get an explanation soon. A geninune one and not one pulled out the a**.

Even if it's not, you have to question why something that obviously reeks was "investigated" and determined legitimate. If anything, that and how the mule tried to cover it up is probably the most damning evidence that this is a cover up.

Here's a another question~

WHY WOULD AN ARTIST WANT A TICKET?
Can't they make any ******** item they want?

to remove it from the system=less work?
i dunno.

But if they sold art to pay for that... that seems like a lot more work than idk, recoloring a recolored recolor?

What? Where did you get the idea they sold art to pay for the ticket? emotion_eyebrow
I don't want to be redundant but this is what's going on:
There was a sudden spike in the MP, so a few users were concerned & made topics, including the main one in the GCD, asking if the GGs were glitched, thus granting more than a trillion gold. Zero came forward & said they had already looked into it & it was all done by a high-end transaction made by a certain user.
It could've stopped there, but people took it a step further & looked up the user who made the purchase (the seller namedroped them accidentally) & they came to the conclusion that the user was an artist's mule.
Now here come the issues:
• Where did these 133t come from? Is it from the last 3 gold sinks we've had over the summer?
• Can artists just generate gold then? in case this is not gold sink event gold.
• Why buy the ticket? Recolor an item they want or just take it out of the system so no one claims it.
• If they have time to sell art to accumulate 133 trillion gold, why would they spend time & effort on that, when they have a backlog of tickets people paid real money for to get their dream item/recolor done.

However you look at it, there is no way this transaction is 100% legit. I am still hoping for someone to prove OP wrong, but so far only gaia SJW with weak theories have come forward.
I know it's hard to believe it. No one wants to believe it.

Oooh, also that are good points! Really good points.

As there's no real connection more than certain images and other things, it all comes as a theory more akin to the "martian theories" presented on History Channel sometimes lol.

But it left, at least me, with a bitter taste with the affected parties not saying a word and the situation being so strange. It REALLY could be a mule with lotsa money that never talked but there's still things that incriminate it and such...

This keeps getting coolerr the more I think of it.

and thought the artist was selling art, not buying it.

I don't believe its really fair to attack the OP, mostly because you can do whatever you want with the things you have.

And also the fact that she posted more than twice saying that she just wanted to sell it. At least that gives her more credibility than LicorSkein.

Ok, first....it's totally taboo to repost someone else's post. That could be considered spamming.

Secondly, I don't care if a Gaia artist or other staff member was the one who bought the ticket. I'm actually wondering why don't you blame the user who sold it for that much instead? 133 tril is a load of gold being thrown around. Buying something is no where near as criminal as trying to sell it off for your unborn child.

So can the conspiracy theories. Blame the person who sold it instead.

Or we can blame gaia for allowing people to sell at that price in the first place.

Blame still falls on gaia.

I won't argue against the MP cap (that was a horrible move), but I won't ignore all elements involved either.

Fair enough.

I personally would lean towards blaming gaia since I do sometimes list my items at ridiculous prices just to prove the point of how ridiculous the removal of the cap is. Which may (or may not be) what this user was doing. lol

I doubt it too. I predict that they'll make up some shitty explanation (what they're trying to do right now I assume since they're not on this super fast like in the other thread), ban op and delete or lock ******** everything and sweep this issue under the rug hoping folks'll forget within in a month or two.
