That definitely seems the most likely I'm guessing I was going by precedent where the more active developers usually had some indication (journal or post) that they were leaving. I would definitely prefer that it was a developer who decided to quit and that their last two weeks were up since otherwise it might indicate some shakeups or drama that I don't think Gaia can easily weather at least not with the current management.

That's basically it. It was "test gold" they poofed onto some mule accounts, and they've dumped HUNDREDS OF TRILLIONS of this "test gold" into the economy via these secret mules. One of the mules was "outed" pretending to be a regular user and going into a long song & dance in PM -- it was pretty funny, but embarrassing for them, I'm sure. It would also be way too embarrassing for them to get on here and talk about what they did, so they 're all hiding in shame now. biggrin

Well he last logged on on the 19th which was last Friday. If he quit it'd make sense to end it on the last day of a work week. Plus if he was fired I'd imagine they'd not wait to do so (er basically if it seemed as if his last work day was any other weekday)...

I'm just glad that there's no like no weird stuff (aside from the daily weirdness) going on with the employees. But then he seemed so interactive with the community that he seemed like someone who would give a heads up that they were resigning.

If anything I'm worried that the people who care for the company are either being pressured to leave because of the toxicity of the work environment (where they can't take anymore), or because their ethics don't match up, or subterfuge/dumb politics.

Staff have their own forums that are private and inaccessible to regular users. So when they post in their private forums, it appears as a blocked post to us. I think he once addressed that somewhere.

Yep. By this point, it's safe to assume they're not going to address it any more than they already have (i.e., the post from Zero acknowledging the purchase by staff mule, which may or may not have been authorized from his higher ups), and are now just waiting for us to get distracted by something else and forget the whole thing. (That's how they work.)
