The rocking of the boat hardly lulled Will to sleep. He kept going over and over that terrible moment of betrayal, one he knew he would never be able to live down. How could she? Especially with the man who had ruined their wedding, who had lied, cheated, kanived his way into Will's one true love's heart, who had taken everything from both of them...

...Including their virginities.

Will turned onto his side. The bunk on which he had been placed was far from comfortable, and now it seemed worse than ever. The hammoc swung with the swaying of the boat, and every wave that lapped against its side seemed to taunt him. He sighed angrily, glancing across the way to where Elizabeth slept peacefully, with no thought, no worry, as to what she had done. Will could not even express the way he felt. Words could not describe it.

Will stopped for a moment. This thought had hardly crossed his mind since Jack's demise, but now it seemed to be there, firmer and worse than ever.

Maybe Elizabeth was not Will's one true love after all.
