This roleplay takes place in the Dexter universe, when the Miami Homicide unit find a massive graveyard in the Miami bay, they are forced to call in 'outside talent'; Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock teams up with Miami's best blood splatter analyst, Dexter Morgan, to solve the case -- little does Sherlock know that the very person they're 'searching' for is right beside him... . How long can Dexter keep Sherlock off his trail? Will Sherlock outsmart Dexter, or will Dexter outsmart Sherlock? What happens when others get involved and complicate matters? There's only one way to find out... . Unlike most of the other roleplays on this roster, this roleplay is structured around a strictly mystery and thriller theme with no romance. However, being that I do love romance, I am more than willing to add in OCs to 'complicate' things for the detective x killer pair with emotion and feelings they've never experienced before. Both Sherlock and Dexter have found themselves drawn and protective of specific characters, so I am totally down for each having love interests they need to keep safe. . The roleplay would take place after events of Van Helsing, and during the first Mummy movie. . 37 years after the death of Dracula, Van Helsing is tasked with travelling to Egypy to find Hamunaptra, and the 'thing in the sand' that seemingly protects it; the only problem is he has no idea where to find it. Stumbling upon a clue, Van Helsing comes face to face with Rick O'Connell, the only man to have walked out of Hamunaptra alive. Willingly, or not, Rick O'Connell takes Van Helsing to Hamunaptra, where in the process of doing so, Imotep is released from his cursed sarcophagus. . Imotep, upon his release, knows of Van Helsing -- he has heard whispers of Van Helsing's name, of how he had killed the blood-sucking creature known as Dracula and lived to tell the tale, and many other creatures he has killed along the way. Knowing Van Helsing could be the one man capable of killing him ( despite him being a mere 'mortal' ), Imotep seeks the book of the dead in order to resurrect Dracula, Van Helsing's most rivalled foe, in order to defeat him... . Two sets of 'brothers', at 'war' with one another; a fued thats lasted centuries. . Past: Angelus & Spike are causing lots of problems for everyone, including the newly turned Stephan & Damon. As the 'elder' duo take an interest in the newly turned, inviting them into their fold, the Salvatore brothers begin to realize that Spike & Angel are more dangerous than they appear, especially when they start targeting their love interests... . Will the Salvatore brothers be able to break from Angelus & Spike's influential grip? Or will they succumb to their darkened influence? There's only one way to find out... . Present: Even after centuries the feud between the two sets of brothers rages on. Despite Angelus' soul having been returned to him and his 'separation' from Spike, the blonde is doing enough damage for the both of them; same goes for Stephan in regard to his brother, Damien. As Damien travels to Sunnydale to find Angelus and Spike, in hopes of joining them once more, Stephan follows as both discover that Angelus is not who they remember him to be -- Angelus, now known as Angel, has a soul and is no longer the murderous vampire he once was. Things get more 'interesting' when their love interests cross, taking the 'war' to a whole new level of complicated; drama ensues, enemies turn frenemies, brotherly betrayal, etc. .
