Welcome to the recruiting thread for one of the most active Harry Potter guilds in Gaia!!! Why are we recruiting?? There are millions of Harry Potter fans and we only have hundreds of members. We want to reach as many genuine fans as possible, and there are many still out there! Are you really a genuine fan?? Read more about our guild, and decide for yourself. HPGoG will certainly be happy to have you as a member!

There are rules (for this thread and the guild), and on behalf of Professor Adonis and the moderators of Harry Potter Guild of Gaia, we hope you respect the rules and follow them. They're here for a reason.

~More Guild Info~

Our guild is located here. Members of HPGoG are very proud of the original (on Gaia)
structure the guild is based on. Most of the guild's organization
comes from the books. We have four Houses (and a Kitchen for elves),
classes, and house points! That's not all the fun HPGoG offers for Harry Potter
fans. We also have role-playing, games, discussions, and monthly events
opened to every member. We also have a guild newsletter, the Hogwarts Monthly!

Once you've been accepted into our school,
here's some things you need to know:
Two threads offer the most information
and they are The Entrance Hall and the Giggling Pear.
All newly accepted members should read
the Giggling Pear thread because it offers
the most information for new members and
because I'm the Head Elf!

~Guild Happenings~

In HPGoG there's almost always something going on (besides reading xd )
We just wrapped up our spring event! What was it?? I can't tell you that!
Although if you joined, you could find out. Besides monthly events, we have
different clubs and classes that help you earn house points.
What are HPGoG members doing right now? We're battling for the Term House Cup!
Winners of the Cup get major bragging points (and awesome prizes in between)!

If you're still not convinced that Harry Potter Guild of Gaia is right for you
then I ask that you stay around this thread and converse with some
of the members of the guild. They're here to answer your questions.
I don't think they'd invest their time in a place
that wasn't worth it. It might take time to get used to,
but HPGoG is definitely worth it.

Harry Potter Guild of Gaia (HPGoG)
offers the most fun for any HP fan!
We have roleplaying, games, and discussions
open for all members. We're definetely the
most active HP guild in all of Gaia (evidenced by post totals).
We take post totals, very seriously. Our level of
doing things is very similar to the books.
We have classes, house points, and guild-wide events!
We only ask that you post at least 5 times a month to maintain our sense of activity.

Why are we recruiting?
To get more fans involved, our discussions bigger,
and an overall sense of togetherness for fans!
If you would like to join then you must read the rules on the Guild Home Page and fill out an application. Only a few things will guarantee your application won't be accepted. These things are a sense of illiteracy (anyone who has read the books should have some sense of literacy) and if we feel you have not read the rules.
