The . V a l h a l l a . Project
...........................................................
Look at the moon,
The kind maiden that will guide you in the night.
Look at the stars,
Who with your hopes will stay eternally alight.
Look to the forests,
That shed their weeping leaves unendingly.
Look at the rivers,
Whose tears run forever.
Look to the fox that has seen this all before you.

Dark, smoldering eyes peered curiously at a scroll, a flowing calligraphy of script penned with utmost care onto the thick parchment. He could tell it was of the highest quality; the paper was smooth like fine linen or perhaps, silk. Under a head of messy hair, fair in color and even fairer with the splotches of sunlight falling upon the silken strands, a pair of fox ears peaked out curiously. They were a shade or two darker than his hair and they twitched with the same inquisitiveness he felt towards the scroll.
The sounds of the forest echoed around him and to him, this place was good and had always been so. He did not know why the air here seemed cleaner, more substantial, why the water tasted sweeter and why the earth felt familar and soothing. He is content here.
So why did the appearance of a mere piece of paper bother him so much? Why did it provoke a feeling of discomfort?
He scanned the scroll as quickly as he could, eyes flying across the parchment as he absorbed what it said. He read it again, to be sure he had not misunderstood. Though there was no proof, he was sure the beautifully written words were referring to him. This is his domain. Here, he knows everything and he knows nothing.
The paper will take him away. The paper will send him to the earth and the heavens.
This he knows.
But he does not knows why. He does not know how or even when. He only knows his place is no longer his and he has a new place waiting for him. His three bells, hanging on a cord around his neck, tinkle ominously.
In an instant, vines of ki snaked around him and he could feel a tendril of it burn a painful path across his left cheek and over the bridge of his nose. A primitive, primal howl worked its way up his throat and past his clenched teeth. As quickly as it came, it faded and he was left disoriented and confused for a few moments afterward.
Slowly, he gathered his wits and found that the scroll was still in his hand. With his other hand, he touched his face lightly and traced the trail the ki had taken. Glancing down at the scroll in his hand once more, he exhaled a breath he didn't know he had been holding. So that was it.

For the Kitsune Spirit for Valhalla
Have you ever wanted to own, yes, OWN a god? Nurture it, play with it, and watch it grow ever so delicately under your tending arms? If you have, then you've come to the right place. This is an interest thread for a breedable shop called Valhala, the land of the gods, where you will be given an opportunity to own one of your very own saintly beings.

The above is a chart of the family tree for the Gods of Greek mythology.
This breedable shop is basically about Gods from all kinds of cultures. Ranging from European ones (which we will do first) to Asian ones.
Basically, we have the first stage as a scroll of parchment that declares this new born to be a god/goddess/demi-god/etc. With a seal of approval from the council of gods. Or the Valhala (which means the land of gods in Norse).
The the second stage a weapon that relates to the god. For example, a pitch fork for neptune.
Third stage is the child god, fourth stage teen god, fifth stage adult god. (We may toggle with the number stages a bit, since this decision is and cannot be final yet.)
So there are 3 kinds of god.
God, Godess, Demi-god.
And different gods under those 3 categories
God is a male saint, godess is a female saint, and demi-god is half human half god/godess.
BUT, the gods will only come in limited editions >w<
For example, Chaos. He's the God of all gods (before Zeus and the others defeated him) Thus, he will be VERY hard to get.
Druids/mules/kitsune spirits/etc are the regulars.
The . V a l h a l l a . project will be different from any other breedable shop you've come across in the past.
We offer exp. growth for your gods in the form of a RPG (in a guild).
With our very own NPCs and rare quests to boost Exp.Points.
There will be different lands to explore, different creatures to meet, and different quests to conquer. So don't miss this once-in-a-life-time chance to set sail on your very own adventure to explore the land of the gods. With a god for companion.
We also offer what is called the Stamp system. A stamp will be awarded to the best customer/rper/bumper each month, which would help you in upcoming flatsales. The more you collect, the better your chances are for obtaining your very own god.
What are these gods/godesses/demons/spirits called in . V a l h a l l a .?
After much deliberation... (Actually, we agreed upon the first name suggest by Pb almost at once xD) Moonie, Pb, and Mekkums has decided that the creatures of Valhalla shalled be called Valhallians ninja
ph33r our naming skillllllz zomfg!`1

Maybe you could call their 'Journals' ......'Temples' instead. xD Idk if I'm making sense here, but it'd go something like this. Say you had the historian job. Well they'd make the first post...
(thread title) Temple of Zeus
(first post) -the actual post would be more rp style, talking about probably the historian sitting at a desk surrounded by papers and writing. And then: I, so-and-so, the historian have aquired this information about Zeus: -insert info and whatnot-
This temple is for 'the adopter' to keep archives regaurding Zeus. Only 'the adopter' may post here unless otherwise stated below.
This is where the 'the adopter' starts posting
(second post) would then be for 'the adoper' to start posting whatever they want. Like an index etc. And of course they could add information, and the journal could be used for rp and everything too.
maybe the ppl that adopting them are 'temple keepers' xD errr if that's what you call them. lol .
Concerning quests and rps:

^^ ooo more idea... A Mount Olympus kind of thing for origins of the gods, where the first form comes from. It can also be where the gods/goddesses aim as they grow until they reach it at their final special stage that requires both questing and long role playing).
If there is battling in the role play the arena could be called The Colosseum (ideas from Roman architecture =P).
For quests they can go take a pilgrimage/journey to the Pantheon (a temple for the Olympian Gods). Some ideas for items would be the olive branches, used as crowns and treasured in ancient Greece, a medallion, chariots, ankhs (for Egyptian Gods if you decide to do those), charms and other symbolic items that hold a special meaning/power of their own and help further them on their path.

Another small quest idea ^^... NPC(s) would help with quests as they could be the character role played when giving out quests, for example, the personification of Fate or Destiny.
Labyrinths, which ties in with the Minotaur (which can be a familiar or character as well). The quest could possibly be just for role playing their journey through and the manager or one of you would role play through it (as with the other quests), creating trials and difficulties within it and finally making it through and receiving some kind of reward at the end be it a growing or a very rare item, since this would be a more prolonged and "difficult quest" and would not be given out commonly.
Another option for a labyrinth quest would be to have quests leading up to it with symbolistic items that would assist them on the labyrinth quest and once they reach the labyrinth (when the quest is given) they would have to use the items in their own 'creative' way to escape for the rewards as mentioned above.
Examples of trials:
- Meeting the Minotaur (perhaps a familiar could be gained this way or in a shop- shop items are available for sale, perhaps unlocking some items with each 'level' gained)
- A sphinx with a riddle (mixing of the genres)
- Difficult terrain
- Mirages
- And of course becoming lost within the labyrinth
