Since the dawn of time cat and mouse have never gotten along. And then came the dog, protector of the mouse and enemy of the cat. The Dog is superior in strength but inferior in brains. The cat could easily beat the Dog in a game of wits but it was nothing compared in physical strength, the mouse however was the most superior one when it came to intellegence but it's strength was nearly none...

That is as far as I've gotten at the moment.. I'll try to elaborate a bit... wink

Okay since I lack the basic skills of coloring I'm looking for a talented young or possibly old colorist to do the coloring for me. I'm looking for both part-time and full-time colorists. Now I really don't want a colorist who just posts and application and then leaves. I want a colorist who'll be dedicated to the shop.

Here's the requirements:
Fulltime
You have to be able to shade.
Color atleast 2 sets a month.
You must be ready to create sets that are to be given as freebies.
You must also be ready to create special sets for certain events.
You must have atleast 2 custom slots open every month.
You must have atleast 1 breeding slot open every month.
If you're hired you'll have to actually stick around and care about the shop.

Bonus
You can give away/color yourself 2 pets every other month.

Parttime
You have to be able to shade.
Color atleast 1 set a month.
You must be ready to create sets that are to be given as freebies.
You must have atleast 1 custom slot open every month.
If you're hired you have to actually care about the shop.

Bonus
You can give away/draw yourself 1 set every two months.

EXTRA: If you can do lineart edits it'd be a real big boost for you. Why? Well if you've ever actually seen Tom and Jerry you'll know that occasionally Tom and/or Jerry wear different types of clothes so I think these pets could occasionally be wearing clothes too.

Stick around and you'll increase your chances of being hired aswell because as stated before I want someone who sticks around and keeps me company instead of just posting an application and then bailing on me.

Story Contest

Okay so I'm not really good at elaborating so I'm looking for someone to recreate the story I've started so far. XD I think you get the basic idea of what I'd like the story to be like but then from there I'd like you to continue with something about todays cats/mice/dogs and how they live together and how they are all brought together. Be creative, you can if you want to even submit an alternative story, something completely out of the blue and original.
If you win with the basic concept you'll receive 5k and if you win with an alternative concept you'll receive 10k.

I need some suggestions people and some helpful feedback. I've never run a B/C pet shop before so I need some heavy feedback/help/suggestion etc. But if it helps, I've read the manual in the official B/C forum (the one under heavy construction.) so I do know a thing or two.

I have some very simple questions to ask. I'd really appreciate it if you'd take your time to answer them. wink

Why do you think it need it? Interest: for obvious reasons, a nice community is always fun;; Graphics: Because then you can get other shops linking here.
On a scale from 1 to 10 what would you give this shop? 8
Why? Because it's very neat and pretty (even without banners) and has adorable line art. However, if there were more people to chat with I think it would make it better. :3 Overall, very nice.
