Welcome to Hiring!

Currently, SoE is only looking to hire artists and colorist, however we may in the future be looking to add more staff to the group to help around the shop.

Below you will find some of the expectations for hiring, these may or may not grow as the shop expands. Hiring will be staying open until all spots have been filled, we have not yet decided on how many spots we would like to fill as of yet.

Rule One : Always Hiring__________________________________
Don't be afraid to post up your form, Sanctum is always looking to add staff to the family. We will always quote your entry so you know we saw you!
Rule Two : No Stealing__________________________________
Please do not steal any of the lines provided, any of the art drawn by artist, or anything for that matter. The only times you will see the images here being used is if the applicant has agreed to use their lines for an event.
Rule Three : Question?__________________________________
The mule's PM box is always open and we welcome any questions you may have, we also check this thread regularly so ask away here too!
Rule Four : Use the forms__________________________________
Please use all the forms we have provided for you, and please do not modify any of it's content. If we're asking, it's because it's important!
Rule Five : Don't be sad__________________________________
We are looking for a certain range of style, so don't be discouraged if we don't pick you. We also might not contact you right away, so give us some time to talk it over.

Hiring Requirements & Procedures

Things you should consider before applying:
You must be in possession of a program that works with layers and can output transparent .PNGs or .PSDs to work as an artist for Sanctum.
If you intend to apple as an artist, then you must have the ability to create smooth, clean linework.
Once you're hired, you will enter a 2-month probationary period. During this you will be required to send a WIP after all linework/editing OR, if you're colorist-only, after flats are laid and before any shading. You may not participate in any gold-based events until completion of the probationary period. You will not be able to reserve/redeem your staff/hiring bonuses until completion of the probationary period. After you're hired, artists and colorist please create and maintain a to-do list in the designated thread in the guild.
All staff members, regardless of rank or job, are expected to fulfill these basic duties: Greet newbies, answer any questions people may have to the best of their ability, be active in the shop itself and interact regularly with patrons, enforce the rules of the shop, maintain professionalism in the shop.
All artists are responsible for their growths. You must complete all of your growings in a timely matter to the final stage once the owner gets to that stage.


Payment Procedures

One freebie upon hiring as staff conditional to completing probationary period of two months
A percentage of gold earned from gold-based events. This is posted within the guild, if you would like to know the values, feel free to ask and we shall PM it.

Additional characters are granted based on the following conditions:
You can obtain no more than one (1) character per six (6) months from normal work.
You must remain active both in thread and responsibilities.
Characters must still be critiqued and approved.
You may not give your free staff character away and may chose not to get another character. In this instance, RP credits will be given.

For the artist app. - Is it alright to post colored versions of the edited bases as well as just the line work, or are you looking for just line artists and seperate colorists?

Oh its fine! I'm only hiring colorist in case workloads get big and artists can just line and hand down their work if they want to. Plus, Stages 1-3 are already templated so I could use colorist to do those as well.
