I see the curves much better now - whenever the torso twists like that, it screws me up so bad. That makes sense how it curves, now!

Consider the ribcage, pelvis, as two cubes stacked on top of each other. They can move independently from one another anf can cover one another when you are bending forward. draw cubes in perspective, then inscribe softer, circle shapes into them. Finally,connect the middle to form the abdomen.

yeah, i'd recommend every day. art's a muscle. if you don't use it, it atrophies.

idk, i picked up gesture after a month or so of class (3 hours, twice a week). You gotta remember 10,000 30-sec drawings is really only 80 hours or so - which is only 10 days at 8 hrs/day. Totally doable.

althou, they say it'll take you 10 years of figure to master it and be truly comfortable with it (10,000 hours rule and all, that).

Ah, yes - I am quite the oldbie. 03, and all.

I still am completely shocked at how beautifully you colour faces, your overall style is very attractive~<3 What program do you paint in anyway? *Q*
OH and I meant to say posemaniacs is actually the only place I did my anatomy studying LOL. I would set aside half an hour a day to do the 30 second pose drawing feature/negative space study. I found it the most helpful and efficient! But god did it stress me out..........OTL

That's also something I need to focus on as well 'loosening up the poses' cause everything I draw can tend to look too 'posey' and jkjgadka. Finding the right techniques is sooo important! Well if anything we can practice and learn together then.

OH PFFT I'm going to reply to this before I run off to sleep.

I use SAI as well! *U* I used to use OpenCanvas for everything but it died along with my old computer and a lot of programs don't work on my new one. emo So SAI is the only thing that works. (I'm learning to love it though~)

YES UGH they're so stressful and when I first started I could only do like....half of a sketch. Honestly I set it to 60 seconds so I can do them comfortably without going completely bald by the end of the sessions lol. @w@;
