Hi, I'm Kori, welcome to my petition to bring the Overseer and Lady Sentinel back as (semi) continuing characters in the manga.

Seems like no matter which side you picked, a lot of people got caught up in the Demonbusters game and backstory. I personally would like to have both of these entities making appearances now and again.

Jack drained their powers, it's true, but they're lesser gods! Part of the whole nature of a deity is that they gain power from the belief and worship of their followers. Surely as long as we continue to hold the mighty Overseer or the seductive Sentinel in our hearts, they'll continue to exist-- and eventually regain their otherworldly abilities.

More than this, Jack has now bought himself into a whole world of hurt, since he has not one, but TWO ancient beings mad at him. Perhaps this could be the point that brings them back together again as they were in the beginning: cooperating to make Gaia a more magical place (even if they argue about the right way to do it-- c'mon, what's life without a little debate, and besides which, it makes for GREAT story mileage *ahem* Heck, I already have an idea about how to get them to work together against Jack, and it doesn't even have to wait till Halloween!)

And there's also the whole issue of them learning to walk in the world again-- the Overseer is out of his shell (pun deliberate) and Sentinel is released from the dark. Gaia has leapt ahead of them by millenia. How will THEY cope with the world as WE know it? (More story potential! *hint hint*)

So, without further ado, the Petition. If you agree with me in any degree, I ask you to add your signature to the petition. The more support we have, perhaps the sooner we'll have our chosen godlings back again to stay!

Oh, and PLEASE PLEASE, if you want to sign, say something like "sign me up" or "I'll sign" in your first post, I want there to be no question that you want your names added. If I don't see something like that, I won't add your name to the signatures. However, feel free to make comments, chat, or whatever, even if you don't sign!

WE, THE UNDERSIGNED USERS OF GAIA, respectfully request that the developers and writers of Gaia, particularly those involved with the manga and storylines, bring back the characters of 'The Overseer' and 'Sentinel' as part of the storyline continuity from this point on.

We believe that having 'The Overseer' and 'Sentinel' as part of the ongoing history of Gaia will provide new storyline ideas and enrich the Gaia experience not only for us, the current members, but for members who will join in the future.

We also request that, if possible, there be at least one event per year involving 'the Overseer' and/or 'Sentinel' (preferably both). This needen't be a conflict-- perhaps some type of celebration or friendly competition, such as the recent Olympic event-- though certainly another epic struggle for dominion wouldn't go amiss. All we really want is the chance to see our beloved icons again!

I'll sign. I loved the idea of the storyline this halloween (it really had alot of potential (sp?) to make a good long lasting plot) and i was so disapointed that the ending was such a cop out. It would have been interstesting to see what would of happened if Jack didn't interfere now that we know that S.I.N won.
