I really hope that everyone who is as mad about this as I am has stopped giving gaia money. You want to make them listen to us, you need to show them we mean business! (and that can be taken a few different ways). Keep your customers happy and they will give you money, piss them off and they won't. Business Basics 101!

The new nerfs are ridiculous: Water Meats and Mermaids drop coins very very slow and very very less then before. The gold coins, aren't dropped together in bundles, like it used to be, they are spread out wide in the aquarium, that you don't stand a single a chance to get at least most of the gold.

Actually I have my Watermeat, because I like the Water Meat and not only for Booty Grab, but I fully can understand those people, whom are pissed, because they bought 17 Watermeats for their Booty Grab tanks, to make profit and fell for Gaia's false advertising.

Shame on you Gaia. That's not a way of treating your customers.

I sign this petition. The new system is silly. It was bad enough that the fish have a life expectancy let along not producing a lot of gold. BG brought me out of my guild (the only thing I really did on gaia) and I now talk to real people. Up until recently I was thinking of getting a watermeat or another more expensive fish but not now. If they want to slow the game right down and all this then they should also reduce their prices. It seems to me that Gaia are more worried about their pocket than the people who pay it.

I pay money for things if I like them - such as the monthly collectables - but they also have to be worth it.

I loved logging in and looking around the forums for BG chances while i talked to the diffrent people in the thread.. but its no fun at all now.

Also i WAS going to put in a considerable amount of money into my account so i could buy new fish and such but if im not going to get my moneys worth from them then why should i bother.

Edit: i noticed that when i get a booty grab with more than four fish the game won't load.. the fish are just swimming around like they're in a normal tank.. i've had that alot more since the changes came along..

I've had the same problem. It's really no fun anymore. And if it weren't for the likes of my fish (I mostly have fish in my tank that I like, not only for BG), I won't ever buy new fish with GC again.

I don't think it's just the aquariums that have gotten ridiculous. I remember the old days when the gold items were awesome... Not to mention they made the changes right as I finally got my aquarium back to a decent percentage.

i never really spent any real gold on gaia
but i understand what sort of point your making
if it is gaian currency or actual money these fish are there to make a profit
and with the current changes your better of selling the fish again
i sincerely hope your voices will be heard

Gaia should have considered other ways to decrease inflation besides messing with booty grab or changed some of the parameters.

-Since they lowered the amount of booty to be grabed when playing they could have raised the tank owners cut so we didnt feel so scammed.

-Raise the price of tokens

-Make older aquarium items go to the gold shops.

-Set limits withen the marketplace. (items can not be sold for less than 10% store value and you can resale to stores for same rate...Just playing with the mathmatic on this one not sure if it would have sustainability)

-Make the trading pass have an experation so it had to be renewed every so often.

THere are so many ways that they could start pulling gold out of the gaia economy it is crazy.....but to alter the things we have payed for is not only bad policy it places a lack of trust and may turn many people away.
Anyway just some thoughts....

I'm with everyone else in this thread. I played booty grab, tested the waters, had a
blast playing it, so decided to dress up my tank and spent hours playing BG and
bought most of the fish with BG gold. Not all of the watermeats, but the other fish.

I did invest GC, too, and now the game is not fun any more, I want my money
back, because this is not what I paid for. It's bad business.
