Clans startup creation fee petition (Make it premium!)
Introduction
Hello everyone,
We are petitioning to make the startup/creation cost of a clan from free to a premium price ideally 20k+ of Gaia gold much like guilds which require a mandatory 20k startup/creation fee. We have several reason which are listed below please support and sign this petition to improve the quality of the battle clan communities.
Reasons for the fee
Inactive clans waste server space
Any newbie can create a free clan which will become inactive and waste Gaiaonline's server space.

Do you remember how Lanzer ran out of money to pay for the servers and all the staff and had to fire some people? If they didnt use up all this server space for things like thousands of unused Clans, they wouldnt have to do things like that.
Preventing abuse & fake clans which are really guilds
Preventing abuse there are fake clans which are created to avoid paying 20k fee to create a guild. The contents of the clan may have nothing to do with zOMG and are nothing more but a bump, RP or chatterbox style guild. Some of them simply create a zOMG sub forum which is very inactive.
Preventing some intellectual property theft
Since the cost of making a clan is free there are people who actively steal intellectual property from guides, tutorials to graphics such as other clan banners. Making a 20k+ setup/creation free mandatory we can reduce the number of these incidents.
Guild vending and clan vending exploitation
Guild vending is suffering because of this, some people paid 20k to make a guild and want to resell for a negotiable price. Now anyone can create a free clan, add random newbie's and reach X number of members then resell the clan for 50k+ and repeat process! (blatant exploitation)
Gold Sink
Gold sink is very important because it can help reduce inflation. This could help the item market as well as the guild market in improving.
