Too bad i think they're too stupid to actually consider asking for more or finding ways to expand upon it.
It's never quite that we're too stupid rofl
Plot updates entail a lot more than most users seem to think. It takes a tremendous amount of resources to make a manga update, and in order to do it we have to pull artists off of the Battle team.
Next, we usually have to tie that to some kind of gameplay. Sometimes we don't have the developer time for it, sometimes there isn't an idea that fits the story we want to do exactly. The Valentine's Day event was a small event, but we'd been trying to do fewer "click-and-wait" events that didn't include any kind of strategic gameplay, humor, or other fun elements. It's a harsh set of restrictions to work with.
So it's not as simple as you guys, Gaia users who may have significantly more free time than we do and use this site for fun (rather than as a job), writing a storyline update.

We (well, I at least) didn't mean to imply that the gaia staff should be less lazy when it comes to events, we (I) know you spend alot of time and effort on each of them.. We're (I'm) just expressing how much we (I) love the events ^.^;
