Yeah i'm thinking the latter might be what happens.... But then again taking Sasuke's melodrama into account he might decided to try and kill himself if he cant win.

that was a pretty good story arc.
After seeing you avi i was suprised to see you didn't say Konan's story arc was one of the best. True she dosent do alot or part take in much but if you think about it her story is quite sad.

It is sad, but it was kind of broken apart confused

You see some of it when Jiraiya goes off to investigate in Amegakure, then the rest after Nagato loses Naruto. The Sasuke retrieval arc had a lot of action, good new characters, lots of emotion and um, it didn't have any breaks ( and a drunken Lee lol.)

yeah i remember it like i was watching it just yesterday *sighs* it was pretty good. And watching the drunken Lee fight on the anime was 10 times better then reading it in the manga. I couldnt stop smilling, specialy when he did the pyhic part after pretending to be knocked out for a bit. Wait to go Bush Brow!!

Any how if you think about his hole story line is vary important to Naruto's shaping as a character in general. Everything from Naruto's name to his training can be traced to him... Well that is for the most part at least.

And for the longest time i kept telling myself it didnt really happen. I was in denile big time.

I felt so bad for Naruto to in the part where he tells Iruka that all he wanted to do was show Jiriaya how good he could be and all Jiriaya got to see was the uncool side of him. He was definately a really important character to the overall story even if it didn't seem that way. I mean he even passed on Sarutobi's bell test to Minato who used it on Kakashi who in turn used it on Naruto in them so he even had influence on the very begining.

yup that made me cry and was like dont worry Naruto he could see your greatness and thats why he gave you a chance way back at the exame time..... He knew.

I do have to say that they were lucky that Naruto paid that much attention to the way Pervy Sage wrote and to the fact that he read The Tales of a Gutsy Shinobi or things might not have ended the way they did.
